Very helpful team of receptionists. Attentive courteous and knowledgeable in giving details how to go around Bilbao. The room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was surprisingly superb. The hotel is very near to anything tranport and Plaza Nueva. Soooo love this hotel.

The noise outside you can still hear it but it is understandable as it is in the main street. The air condition is not so cold but the weather in Bilbao is cold anyway.

Amazing location, lots of bars and pubs around, walking distance from all the touristic spots. Very large and comfortable room, excellent shower. Very nice staff.

The only thing I would improve is the lack of isolation. I suggest ear plugs for sleeping time. Both noises from within the hotel and from outside are very loud.

The hotel has a great staff, very helpful and courteous (thanks to Kevin and Mikel for checking us in). Also, the breakfast buffet is good and their staff is really great. The hotel is centrally located, we met our tour guide in the square right across the street from the hotel. Also, the streetcar stop is next to the hotel, which can take you to the Guggenheim Museum, The hotel is in the old town district where all the shops, bars and restaurants are located. We were guests during the big power blackout in Spain and Portugal. It lasted only 2.5 hours and the staff were cool and helpful! Gracias!

Not a thing!

Perfect location. Hard to beat. They upgraded us the room with the balcony. Well worth booking this. The view, the sounds, the atmosphere is captivating. They left us cards, free water and we felt as home. Could stay there for two weeks no problem.

Not much. If you have not walked more than 10km a day then bad soundproof could bother you :-), otherwise you will fall asleep anyway. The breakfast is I think deserve the lowest grade for the hotel (I would love to see more no-pork products for breakfast, more variety, eggs could be more tasteful etc.). Also the cooks are running around too much attempting to organize guests into the small space, clean tables etc. so it kinda ruin the atmosphere. Owners - take care of this. :-)

Possibly one of the best locations for old Bilbao. Staff were super helpful with maps and places to go. The room was one of the best I have stayed in Bilbao in terms of accommodation, value and location. One of the few places with working air con and a fridge. The vibrant area is surrounded by great bars and restaurants (Nepalese is great). Walking distance from Abando metro station and airport bus stop. Glad I had the opportunity to stay and wish I could have stayed longer.

The location is great to visit key attractions and there are plenty buses/trams stopping nearby. The staff was so great. Nadia also gave us some gifts for our kids and was always going beyond to help us with our little one.

It is a bit noisy due to the location and we could also hear people steps from the floor above. The breakfast room is really tiny

Hotel is in the center of old town. We go everywhere by walk. The reception people, Nadia and Mery, are very nice and kind. And they speak English good. They inform us everything for old town. Like as, where to eat, to drink, to see. We parked our car near to hotel to a public parking place. Hotel give us a %10 discount ticket for parking fee. The room is same in booking website. Room facilities are like a 4 star hotel. We asked form Mery a kettle and she gave one. However, someone cooked something in it and it had bad smell, we couldn't use it.

Room and corridor base have wood surface. So they make a lot of sound while walking on them. At Night, this sound disturbed us.

very well located for the Casco Viejo, the staff at the reception was great. the hotel is very clean and comfortable. it is difficult to get there by car -without a clear information about the parking facilities. see below

Booking listed this hotel in my search for hotels with parking, which does not have. In no place there is an indication of it. I ended up paying a third extra of the room price. The hotel did not admit the misleading information is their responsibility, so it has to be Booking's- and must be because the same happened to me in San Sebastian. A rip-off although the hotel itself is great and i will much recommend it. Booking misled me badly (and have not replied to my complain 6 days ago)

This comfortable and very clean hotel has good beds and pillows, beautiful city views and the BEST breakfast buffet we’ve ever had in Europe. Lovingly prepared by Luz with Juanma as the gregarious “camarero” welcoming, seating and taking care of everyone, the food was perfect, of the best quality and quantity, and the coffee machine turned out delicious coffee as did the in-room coffee maker. The receptionist Nadia was exceptional and welcomed us to Bilbao. She is so friendly and clearly proud of her Basque heritage and city. She told us how to navigate the city easily and recommended our first meal at Rio Oja which was incredible. Her assistant Laura was also very kind to us.

The air-conditioner unit was loud.

We were very well received on the day of our arrival. We were able to drop off our suitcases while waiting for the room to be ready. A big thank you to Angel for his welcome, his smile and all the explanations he gave us to visit and get around Bilbao. The hotel is very well located in the heart of the old town with quick access to the metro and tram to get around outside and many bars and restaurants. We were able to go to see all the beaches up to Plenzia which is a beautiful seaside village. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom very functional. The hotel was quiet and our room overlooked the street but no problem with the double glazing.

It's a detail but i think for the price of the room, having a machine with some coffee capsules or a kettle for tea would be really nice. Having to bring the shower towels back to reception to change them is not really appreciated.
