Staff were welcoming and efficient, good check-in experience is important. Glass of cava was very much appreciated. We enjoyed the breakfast, and had an evening meal which was OK. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Bed comfy and shower amazing! Roof terrace is great and was quiet when we were there. Great to catch some autumn sun.

Room was small - not huge issues but: Very limited wardrobe space Nowhere to store cases No mirror to do make up in room No hooks on the back of the door for coats No draws to store ‘stuff’ Weak hairdryer - bring your own. Bring water as after first night they charge €3 for a small bottle.

Staff are great and always there to help. Excellent breakfast with cooked options to order. Really comfy beds. Great bathrooms, great showers. Excellent wifi. Brilliant bar on roof with great service. Great location very close to all main activity.

Wardrobe and storage space is limited. There are occasional drain smells, but this is Europe and that's what you get sometimes.

The fact that the hotel does not give you new toiletries every day. I had to ask for more soap - we were paying €400/night so i was not expecting that,

Location is perfect - just a 5 min. walk to old town, El Mercat, etc.. The hotel gives a glass of Cava upon arrival, free minibar with 2 beers, 2 waters, and 2 sodas, chocolates, & slippers. The decor is beautiful and looks newly remodeled, bathrooms and products are very nice, and bed is comfy. You can’t hear noise from the street - it is insulated well. Checkout isn’t until noon and weather permitting there is a lovely rooftop bar - also, the staff was very accommodating. Beach is probably only a 17 min. taxi.

Only inconvenience was that you could hear the water running through the pipes in the wall sometimes and the heat was up too high but the doors/ windows open.

Great location very close to the old city with plenty of bars, restaurants etc. lovely roof top bar area in the hotel. Very nice touch stocking the minibar with some drinks for free. Everything was spotlessly clean. The check in was excellent and in particular Matthias pointed out lots of areas of interest on a map, told us hotel could organise bike hire etc.

The fact that the lovely rooftop bar was only open one night out of the four nights we stayed .

Hotel is close to the main street, which could be a bit noisy because of traffic. However, that is understandable if you want to stay in the centre.

breakfast was mostly a typically decent, non-varying, hotel spread, however, they also had a small menu of custom made entrees, such as eggs benedict, which I enjoyed each morning. The shower was great, lots of water pressure. All of the reception and dining area staff members were delightful and helpful with directions, suggestions., etc. The L&H hotel is on a very busy street and in a great location for acccessing old town and public transport. We were unknowingly there during their busiest holiday of year, the Fallas (Festival of Fire), when constant parades, bands and firecrackers were exploding constantly. Fortunately, the room was well soundproofed, so it was not a problem.

The premium corner double room we had reserved was quite small and would not have served us comfortably for a 4-night stay. We upgraded to a mini-suite, which was very nice and had plenty of space to hang out.

Pros: - Great location – just a 10-minute walk to the city center and 7 minutes to the metro. - Excellent shower – the bathroom was spacious, equipped with bathrobes and slippers, and we appreciated the Rituals toiletries. - Blackout curtains – they completely blocked out the light, which was great for sleeping. - Nice complimentary treats – bottled water, local beer, and sweets in the room were a pleasant touch.

Cons: - Poor soundproofing – we could hear everything happening in the hotel corridor, as well as noise from the street. - Uncomfortable pillows - Disappointing breakfast – for €15 per person, the format was a buffet plus one option from the menu. However, the buffet offered almost no fresh vegetables, just cold cuts, cheese, and sweets. I ordered Eggs Benedict, but it arrived as a raw egg with uncooked egg whites. For the same price, you can have a much better breakfast at Central Bar.

The location is great - we were arriving by bus and it's close to the bus station, right by Turia gardens, Torres de Quart and only a short walk to the cathedral and market area. We were made very welcome on arrival by lovely reception staff - with a glass of cava (or juice) and there's a help yourself 'treats' table. Our room was a little small but had 2 french windows and was very comfortable, with more treats awaiting us, which is always appreciated. The nearby botanical gardens were a great place to wander. Will definitely return when staying in Valencia

It was all good.

Considering its a 4* hotel, it felt like 5* - complimentary glass of cava on arrival, we arrived early and our room was ready, complimentary soft drinks, beers and chocolate in the room! Rooms were nice, clean modern, we had a nice view from our balcony.

Breakfast was underwhelming and probably wouldn’t include next time. It was at the reception area, so not a separate space, and had very little variety, mostly just some cakes and mini pastries and fruit. However there was a separate menu where you could order dishes such as eggs.
