Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff go above and beyond, customer service is impeccable from reception to housekeeping. We visited on valentines day and the housekeeping staff put an incredible amount of effort into preparing the room even without our request, it was beautiful. The amenities are fantastic, extensive, and clean. The room was clean and had everything you need, including the best complimentary teas and coffees. We tried the in-room breakfast service which was so delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. Very conveniently located near several tube stations and walking distance to the river and tourist attractions.

The warm friendly greeting from the staff on arrival was lovely. The staff were very helpful. Check in was fast, efficient and everything was explained to us. Someone took us up to our room and explained where everything was and how the heating/air conditioning worked. We were allocated a twin room close to the lifts and our room was for a person using a wheelchair with a walk in shower, a pull down rail next to the toilet etc as my mum is in a wheelchair. Comfortable beds, good lighting in the room and a large, clear television and a safe and ironing board and slippers and dressing gown in our room. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, biscuits and a fridge in our room. Robert in the Lampery restaurant is exceptional and deserves a special mention. He is a credit to the company and an outstanding member of the team. That is what they all are there - a team. They all work together to make your stay very enjoyable. Robert was aware of our food allergies which I informed the chef about in advance and Robert and the kitchen made sure our meals were safe for us to eat so we weren’t ill. He also helped the table behind us too exactly the same as one of their party had a nut allergy. The breakfast was very good, with a wide range of choice including Gluten Free. The wheelchair lift at the front of the hotel was broken so thankfully my mum was able to get out of her wheelchair and walk down the stairs while I carried her wheelchair up and down the stairs when I am disabled myself having had 2 knee replacements. I only had to do this once as the reception staff and Robert from the Lampery rushed over to help me and mum and carry her wheelchair up and down the stairs. Other people staying at the hotel did this and helped us too. I cannot express how grateful I am for everyone’s help. It’s a really nice hotel with a lovely atmosphere, very helpful staff and customers and I highly recommend it to everyone and I will definitely stay here again.

The small wheelchair lift next to the stairs leading up to the reception has broken down at the front of the hotel. The staff escorted us around the hotel through the step free entrance but it is a long walk around the hotel. My only real concern is the lifts going up to the rooms. Anyone can walk in, get in the lift, press the lift button and go up. I feel safer with lifts where you have to tap your room card to activate the lift as an added security feature.

We had an incredible stay at the Apex City of London Hotel, and can’t praise the staff enough for making the experience truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, Vishal greeted us warmly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. His professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor made a world of difference. Vishal not only provided exceptional service but also shared fantastic recommendations for dining and activities in London, which enhanced our experience in the city. His dedication and genuine care for guests were truly outstanding. A special thanks as well to Veronika, who maintained our room with great care and respect, ensuring everything was spotless and comfortable. Additionally, Jake, the manager, played a vital role in making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The exceptional service and hospitality from the entire team made our visit unforgettable. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a weekend/birthday getaway, and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating to two people just off an early morning flight and wanting to check-in early, always ready to assist with a smile. The room service was impeccable, with arguably the biggest breakfast selection I've ever seen, offering the convenience of charging to the room or paying upfront, which was a nice touch. Room comes with a mini fridge, with a bottle of water already in it. The bathroom had both a bath and a walk-in shower. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a good distance from the iconic Tower of London and only a short walk from both the underground and bus stops, making it easy to explore the city. Despite being surrounded by the bustling London nightlife, the hotel itself is situated on a nice and quiet street, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy the vibrant city life while having a serene place to rest, with super comfortable beds!

The restaurant available within the hotel had a limited and specific menu that might not cater to everyone's preferences, however there are plenty of places to eat out-with the hotel. The bath was amazing however it didn't have a rail, which would have made it perfect for the other person I was travelling to use!

Fantastic location, right next to the Tower of London and also Tower Bridge. Very clean, modern, located just of the main road, Tower Hill, in a quiet side road with hardly any noise at all. We have stayed here a few times, the staff are always very welcoming and friendly, especially on Reception and in the Dining Room. We were upgraded to a suite on the top floor with views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, which was excellent, it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary and were so surprised when there was also a welcoming anniversary gift of cakes when we entered the room, such a nice touch. We always stay here when visiting London as the service from the staff is superb, the rooms are excellent and I should also mention the breakfast is one of the best ever. No need to look where we’ll be staying on our next outing to London!

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Could not be in a better location for this price,with a tube station just around the corner (the monument) and a more central one only a 9 min walk away (Bank ). Tower bridge and Tower of London visible from the lane way of the hotel with so many pubs and restaurants near by it was excellent. The Borough markets are only a short walk away over London Bridge with London eye,Westminster,Buckingham palace all in walking distance. The staff from the minute we arrived were warm and welcoming and we were able to check in when we arrived at 11:30 as our room was ready which was great as we had just come off an early flight. Dinner was also 10/10 could not fault it.

Breakfast was outstanding absolutely delicious! Location was perfect only a quick walk to the tower Hill underground and from there we could reach any part of London very easily. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Hotel was super clean and beautiful. Our room had a balcony with the most incredible views of the London bridge. We had a delightful stay at Apex and we can't wait to come back again!!

Only one complaint and its really small and didn't impact our enjoyment of our stay at all- no streaming services in the bedroom like Netflix. It would be great if this was added in the future.

It was our first time at this hotel, and we’ll definitely be returning. The location was perfect for us, and both check-in and check-out were seamless. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed, though the pillows were quite soft and felt too large when stacked, as one alone didn’t provide enough neck support. The bathroom was also clean, but the shower nozzle was positioned too close to the wall, wasting space, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, we had a great stay. We also enjoyed a few drinks at the bar, which was a nice touch.

I stayed at the Apex City of London Hotel last weekend, and though I was unfortunately very ill and unable to explore the city, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to recover. From start to finish, the hotel exceeded every expectation. The facilities are exceptional—everything from the restaurant to the breakfast and 24/7 room service was flawless. Even though I was confined to my room for most of my stay, the meals were delicious and promptly delivered, making it easy to feel comfortable despite my situation. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always available to assist with any questions or needs, which made all the difference. Their kindness truly helped make a difficult situation much more bearable. The hotel itself is spotless. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the rooms and common areas are second to none. And let’s not forget the perfect location—it’s in the heart of London, making it ideal for anyone wanting to explore (though I sadly couldn’t). While I’m disappointed I couldn’t experience more of London, I’m extremely grateful for the chance to rest in such a welcoming and well-run hotel. Apex City of London made my stay an absolute pleasure, even in less-than-ideal circumstances. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and well-maintained, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location excellent. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar. It was an enjoyable stay.

The communication with the hotel via the booking platform was somewhat poor. My question wasn’t answered until I was already at the hotel, and I kept receiving several automated messages about add-on services or online check-in. (The payment link provided didn’t even work.) I understand that, with a high number of guests, it can be more challenging to stay on top of all communication with visitors.
