The Holiday Inn London Victoria is a lovely hotel just a 5 minute walk from Pimlico tube station and also near London Victoria train station. Belgrave Road and the surrounding area have beautiful architecture. There are lots of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The 24 bus stops right outside the hotel and this bus goes past Westminster Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben into Trafalgar Square. You could even stay on the bus to Hampstead Heath if you fancy a walk. The staff are all very friendly and helpful in the hotel. The staff on reception allowed us to put our milk in the fridge in the bar downstairs as there aren’t any fridges in the rooms. The breakfast was good. There is a tea/coffee machine. There are cereals, croissants, little cupcakes, bread to toast and full English breakfast items (sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, baked beans, tomatoes and mushrooms). There is semi skimmed milk and also soya milk. Rima, the lady working in the breakfast room, is so incredibly welcoming and helpful. She shows you where everything is and does her best to feed you up! When clearing the plates away she will say, ‘Make space for next dishes!’ Thank you Rima for making our stay so enjoyable. I would recommend The Regency Cafe which is a short walk away and is very reasonable (it is open 7am - 2:15pm Monday-Friday and 7am - 12pm on Saturdays). It has been used as a filming location and has been voted the 5th best restaurant in London. I would also recommend booking a free ‘Inside U.K. Parliament’ guided tour by contacting your MP (https://www.parliament.uk/free-guided-tours/). The tours show you Westminster Hall, St Stephen’s Hall, the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The tours are very interesting and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon again!

There are only 2 things that I would say could make the hotel even better: having a mini fridge in the room to store your milk or food and having a toilet brush in the bathroom.

Hotel and room was warm. Staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. Ideal location for 24 bus route which runs past hotel and Pimlico tube station (5 minute walk away)

Carpet in room was dirty and needs to be cleaned/replaced

pleasantly surprised by our stay here, room quite spacious with a separate area with table and chairs to sit. Location was great not far from the tube and slept really well as didn't hear any noise from other rooms or traffic at all. nice added bonus here is a lovely buffet breakfast which had a great selection. all of the staff we saw were very welcoming and checknin was quick and easy. definitely would stay here again in the future

only thing letting this hotel.down is a bit of cleaning in some areas like the carpets which we noticed some stains in common areas

Very nice place. It has a lift, which is great. The temperature was tolerable in the room since it wasn't too hot out, but we typically like it a bit cooler. Staff was very nice, and they held our bags after checkout while we explored the city. Breakfast was definitely an awesome bonus. I would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone who asked!

Lack of AC, but it's a minor inconvenience with all the other positives. It also isn't nearly as warm as it gets in some of the southern states in the US, so it was tolerable. The evenings were cooler when we were there in May, so this also helped.

Staff were all very welcoming and helpful. In particular a huge thank you to Miriam and Gustavo who carefully prepared gluten free breakfasts for us. We had requested gluten free upon booking a year prior to our stay and immediately received a message that it would be provided. The first morning Miriam greeted us and showed us what was available from the buffet (cornflakes, Moma porridge, yogurt, fruit, jams). She also offered freshly scrambled eggs on toast, all prepared separetly in the kitchen, so no possibility of cross contamination. For the following mornings when she wasn't working she informed Gustavo who kindly prepared our breakfast. I find that gluten free (referring to people who have celiac disease) is not that well catered for or understood in the UK, however our stay was a positive experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who has celiac disease. The only suggestion I would make would be to also offer cakes, even packaged, as an extra option. All in all a very positive experience and attention to catering for celiac disease. We would definitely return.

The mattresses were too hard for me, however, due to personal taste others may find them okay. This was the only negative.

Great location near Victoria station. Walking distance from city centre or You can take a bus or underground. Building was old and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful (we asked another blanket and we got that). Bed was comfortable. During the breakfast one of the ladys was really friendly and helpful with quests.

Room itself was clean, but this carpet (at least in our room) needs to be cleaned (seemed that it wasnt deeply cleaned years).

The gentleman at reception and the lady who was making breakfast were both so kind. I arrived at around 9pm on Friday night and had to leave at around 6:30am on Saturday morning to be at a property to sign for a delivery. Despite breakfast not opening until 7:30, they offered me tea and some pastries. Unbelievably generous and really appreciated. This was my second time staying with you, and the second time the lady making breakfast was so helpful.

Nothing - the staff were excellent as above, but the room (304) was a bit noisier than expected (and I generally like street traffic noises!). Nothing too much to affect my nights sleep too badly.

Location of the hotel was excellent as it was not far from the centre of London and I was able to explore the area without hassle. Breakfast was reasonable, in terms of options. The rooms were very good, in terms of comfort and cleanliness, and the service from the staff within the hotel was exceptional. Friendly and courteous throughout.

Maybe the size of the rooms could be a little bigger as well as making the breakfast menu at little more exciting by introducing more food options or improve the quality of the food but other than that there is nothing to dislike.

The location is really good, a couple of minutes to the Pimlico station and a 5-10 minutes walk to the Victoria station. Even Big Ben and Westminster is within a 20 minutes walk distance. Reception staff and the duty manager Anna were all very friendly & helpful in all matters. Breakfast was quite filling and tasty.

The only issue is the room size which is technically not possible to improve :). We stayed in a standard room and had one large & one smaller luggage with us. Even with only one piece of large luggage, it was difficult to move around the room which directly affected the comfort. So, if you have more than one large luggage case, I'd recommend choosing among other, larger room options.

We had a great stay in London. The hotel was in a great position with metro and bus stops with in close walking distance. There was always friendly staff at the front desk no matter what time we came home and they were always more than willing to help us with any questions. We enjoyed a great breakfast that catered to our food allergies, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall a great stay and we would recommend anyone to stay.

Our original room was not great, with a huge hole in the ceiling (apparently they were renovating the AC), but it was the only room they had the first night. They were more than happy to let us nove the next day when another room became available, so not really so bad.
