This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Riu Plaza Victoria and we will stay again! It has the most wonderful location in Victoria, it’s modern and welcoming. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The bar is small but really nice and we enjoy a drink and a snack before bed when we get back from the theatre. It is very good value for money for its location and how comfortable the stay is.

Just one thing and this is the same as last time we stayed. The breakfast is poor for those with allergies. I have a milk allergy and really struggle here. The signs on the food are almost illegible, there was a tiny section of gluten free options and nothing extra for dairy allergy. They didn’t even have any butter alternative and even though we asked a few waiters, no one understood what we were asking for. It’s a shame but it won’t put us off staying here . If the hotel can see this review and consider allergies a little better then it would be perfect!

Location is great. I booked the room with a window and it was a great size. Shower could have been a lot warmer however. We were on the first floor and I was woken up a lot during the night with unsociable behaviour outside. There is a lot of homeless outside the hotel so I was quite nervous of this when walking by myself to the hotel. Good value for money but I just would be weary of this fact. Might have felt safer if my room wasn’t on the first floor.

The shower was not very hot at all. But other than that it was a lovely stay.

Finally a very good hotel in London for a fair price. Big room, high standards, brand new location, modern and well designed. My room was perfectly clean and smelling nice no unpleasent smell like in any hotel in the city center of London.

The breakfast was too poor, the quality of the food is as usual in England very low.

The location of the hotel is great! Next to Victoria Station where you can go everywhere. Breakfast very good.

In my reservation, I asked for a king/queen bed and an addition bed for my son. They put us in a single bed + sofa bed room. Later, they changed us to a small room. During this process, the staff did not hand over the cases properly, and the second staff member was not much kind, an angry face since when I asked to check for my request to change the room. I was very surprised that there is no restaurant available after breakfast.

The manager & 1 of the receptionist were extremely Rude as if they r couple teaming toward the customer if u talk to one of them . Very unprofessional to have a couple working same place like that .. Mostly, just asking them to put the ice pack for Insulin injections in freezer was a total no despite talking to the manager & begging them as i have a flight and need them iced !!!

Facilities are brand new, and the hotel had everything I needed for a short stay. Lovely spacious room with great views, and the set up for working was perfect. Check in was pretty smooth as well, I arrived an hour earlier and was able to work from the lounge area until my room was ready. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was definitely the highlight from my stay, even as a vegetarian I had plenty of fresh food to choose from.

Excellent customer service at reception, professional, prompt and welcoming! Super clean bedroom, could not be faulted. Bed was similarly cozy and had an enjoyable, restful sleep. The location is just amazing for all local attractions and rail, metro connections. The buffet breakfast is outstanding and faultless.

The lack of clear signage directing guests to reception and restaurant areas, which have to be navigated with a route map through a maze of identical corridors. I was misdirected by cleaning staff and restaurant staff alike trying to leave breakfast area to check out , very annoying indeed as it caused me to be late for an important meeting. This would be the ONLY reason for not staying here again. Come on ..please fix this in order to launch your fine establishment to a truly outstanding example of hotel hospitality in a fabulous location in central London.

Great location.

The water pressure in the shower is bad. Plastic cups in the bathroom certainly isn’t very 4 stars. The breakfast scene operation is rough. Stations where the staff sort dirty dishes are not behind the scene but right there in the same space as you eat, lots of noise and lots of staff traffic. Plates ain’t particularly clean.

Excellent location! You were able to walk to Buckingham palace, Westminster Abbey and to Big Ben! Also Victorias station was next to the hotel, so getting there from Gatwick is very easy. Good breakfast. Good variation of English and Nordic breakfast. Good for families also, since pancakes, fresh fruit and vegetables & cereals were available. Good and comfortable beds. Air condition, beautiful modern rooms with a safety deposit and a fridge.

We had two separate beds for four people and only two big blankets. We asked to have own blankets (4) and got 3 with a sheet and 1 without. Not nice! Crossing a buzy road every morning with kids in order to get into the breakfast area was not the best experience. Our room was in the basement level, but you could only get there by using two elevators, no staircase acces available. In case of an emergency that felt a bit unsafe!

You can’t find a better location! We mastered the train and underground systems in a flash, got to walk a half block to see Wicked and a block to a hop on hop off tour. Breakfast couldn’t have been better! We loved our stay in London!
