The urban fee. Feels like a way to have a lower rate to book for a fairer price but then you get hit with and addition 25 per night. Not cool.

The property was beautiful. It was very close in distance to everything you need. The staff were very accommodating they helped with everything you needed. They were extremely kind. I had a 4 day stay and I enjoyed every part of the hotel. From the restaurants to the comfortable and nice sized hotel rooms. It was perfect

The only problem I had was that the toilet continued to clog up due to no fault of my own. I am unsure if it was a building problem but we did call the front desk and the maintenance did come twice to try to fix it but it continued to clog up pretty bad.

I enjoyed very much my stay in The Godfrey Hotel during my citytrip to Chicago. Friendly staff, modern and new interior. I was especially pleased with my room with a stunning view on the Chicago skyline. Good to have free coffee in the room. Also nice to have a gym comprising an elliptical, which I used daily. The restaurant serves nice mediterranean dishes. Will be back here whenever I visit Chicago again.

no spa, although I had the impression there was one while booking

Location was very nice (lots of different things around) and within walking distance, we parked with Valet (in and out services- its just better to upgrade to that). Room was nice along with a beautiful view

Staff didnt explain too much when I was checking in- tried to let front desk know about wanting Valet and they told me to handle that with them. Valet for what I paid for- didn't really explain anything as well. I had to ask the next morning at the front desk how to pay- and they said it was already added to my account (which no one mentioned when I was checking in) When checking in, the front desk person didn't say what floor I was on (just handed me my room key along with the room number). Room was nice but weirdly shaped. Bathroom door almost hits toilet so not a lot of room in the bathroom (for two people).

The property was very nice. Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are incredible. The lounge on the rooftop was phenomenal. Service was great. Food & drinks were unmatched. During our very early 4:00a morning on checkout, valet was pleasant & waited with us outside until UBER arrived & he also assisted us with getting our bags in. Thanks to you!

There were strands of hair throughout the room. Very long, silver/grayish in color. Personally felt it was housekeepings & not a previous guest based on the specific places the hairs were found. Not a huge deal. Perhaps she should wear a hairnet though.

We were a group 0f 15 family members staying in 5 rooms that were located at different floors, and we all liked the rooms, but what was amazing was how much the staff was willing to accommodate to our needs in order for us to be able to enjoy my daughter´s graduation. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone that I know is traveling to Chicago.

They offered only two small bottles of water per room and only the day we checked in. People traveling often like to have bottled water in their room during their entire stay.

Bed was comfortable and hotel is relatively quiet. It was close to everything

Front of house staff - no one smiled or greeted us when we came in. Thursday night front dest was ok, but the rest of the weekend it looked like everyone hated their job and didn't want to be there or talk to anyone. I would work on that. I was struggling with my luggage rack (I'm in a boot due to a broken foot) and not one staff member in the lobby asked if I needed help. The "gatekeepers" for the rooftop bar were great as well as our server Miranda. She was outstanding!

Great location in the heart of the North Loop. Room was a clean, tastefully decorated and a good size, bed extremely comfortable.

Access to the rooftop bar for drinks was a joke. You had to pre-book your slot and pay in advance for drinks. You simply couldn’t just go for a drink as a resident which is strange. Restaurant on site was closed. However saying that you have a choice of bars and excellent restaurants within a few mins walk. Acknowledge the price of the hotel does include access to bar and restaurant so hard to access considering the above!!

I loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the efficiency of the staff. The ambience is beautiful. Bathroom was a decent size pretty standard. Staff was absolutely AMAZING!

The room was way to basic for the price per night. No fridge no microwave and yes there is a wine cooler but you should check to make sure it works. The paint was chipped only some of the lighting worked and the view was obstructed. Ice machine was broken and so was the elevator button to go to the rooftop in one of the two elevators they provide. Channels were basic no way to use streaming apps. Bed was ok. If you stay on floor 5 prepare to hear the music all night until 2 am pretty much shook the walls.

Beds are extremely comfortable. The establishment is very clean and classy. The rooftop bar was a huge bonus. It was nice to be able to drink until our hearts content then take the elevator to our room. And the food is really good too.

It was hard to reach someone about the spa and the front seat gave us misinformation about the availability of the rooftop winter special seating.
