Loved the comfortable bed. Metro from airport at the front door. Friendly staff. Loved the fresh fruit & chocolate in the room.

When we checked, we were told that breakfast was included & it was ticked on our card. We went to breakfast, we showed the staff our ticked card & started our breakfast. While we were eating, we were then told that a mistake had been made and we would be charged $20 EUD each. If we had known that breakfast was not included, we would have found something else for less than $40. This was the only disappointing thing of our stay everything else was very good.

I really enjoyed my stay considering the price I paid approx EUR70 per night room only. Lovely modern, comfortable facilities - lovely bathroom, very comfy bed/pillows in what seems to be a renovated office block (windows dont open). It was less than EUR10 in a taxi from the airport (very late arrival). Some nice cafes nearby (Versailles) - overall it seems to be located in a business district vs a shopping precinct. There were some nice touches like bottled water, an apple, a chocolate each night and a small gift on departure. That was very much appreciated and a point of difference.

Next time (and in summer) I would probably stay closer to the train station at Cais do Sodre (lower part of Bairro Alto/adjacent to the river) for easier movement up and down the coast to Cascais, Estoril etc. Staying at Hotel White I had to take 2 Metros to get to centre of town (change at Pombal) - which sounds easy until you try it in peak traffic times - the Metro stations have 5 sets of stairs in some cases and the crowd crush on platforms/carriages was really frightening and I didnt enjoy it at all and I am a very experienced traveller. I ended up taking Ubers to Sintra that cost EUR22 and EUR33 respectively because I didnt want to deal with Metro - it was a good solution.

Location. We activated a Viva Viagem Card - zapping option at the airport then took the Metro to the Saldanha stop on the red line which stopped at the Hotel White Lisboa. An excellent location to and from the airport. It's also very close to the historic Cafe Pastelaria Versaille a great place for breakfast. Also close to other less expensive good breakfast options and restaurants that open later in the day including a plant based restaurant. We also used Maria Lavandoria, a very clean self serve laundromat near a small park. The hotel is also close (using Metro) to the Gulbenkian Museum and the huge El Corte Ingles department store. Hotel White Lisboa is not within walking distance of the main tourist area (Old Town) but the convenient location of the Metro stop and the efficient Metro made it very easy to travel around Lisbon. This is a very clean modern hotel which has an upscale mirror TV. Friendly staff. We would stay at the Hotel White Lisbon again.

Would have liked a desk or a small table with a couple of small chairs so it would be easier to work on a laptop. In early October 2024 there was construction on an adjacent building not owned by Hotel White. The loud noise started shortly after 8am which wasn't ideal but it assured an early start to get out of the room and explore Lisbon!

This hotel is fantastic, it's beautiful and clean, bottled water, chocolates and fruit in room daily which is good. Staff are extremely helpful, breakfast is good, in my opinion there is plenty of choice-fruit,yoghurt, pastries,cold meat and cheese, fresh pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage...good coffee too! Lovely pool, very cold but a great extra in a city hotel. Metro station right outside front door, bus stop just down the road. Some really nice restaurants and pastry shops a stone's throw away! Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

Everything was perfect!

The hotel was lovely, with a great rooftop pool with beautiful views. The room.was clean and spacious. The location was excellent, directly outside Saldanha metro.station where you can get the red line or the yellow line. The breakfast was tasty with lots of options.. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was my partner's birthday while we were there and the staff brought up surprise cake and a note. It was so lovely.

The hotel is quite modern and renovated. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable.

I asked for an early check in from the previous day as I had a very early flight. I arrived around noon and by 1pm they couldn't let me know if I could get a room before 3pm of the normal check in. I felt that they did not put enough effort to satisfy my request. So I left my luggage in the hotel and the lady in the reception said she is going to call me when the room is ready. She never called me so I received my room after 3pm after returning to the hotel. I understand that the early check in is upon availability but I would appreciate it if there was any effort at all to satisfy my request.

Excellent location, with the Saldanha metro station right in front of the entrance, making it very easy to get to and from the airport and to attractions in the city. Good size room and very confortable bed. Rooftop solarium is small but great for relaxing after a long day of walking. Many restaurants and cafés nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.

Size of room would have allowed for a cozy sitting area, but instead had a single oversized chair and an impractical table.

Excellent hotel. Metro located right outside, along with bus stops. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious. Couldn’t hear the noise of other guests. Staff are very friendly and very attentive. They couldn’t do anymore for you. They come round in an afternoon and give you free water, fruit and chocolate every day. Pool was a lovely addition to our stay for the really hot days. I would 100% recommend.

Beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean, rooms are spacious and very modern. Location is great, right outside Saldanha metro station so very easy access to station, airport or more central areas. Plenty of restaurants very nearby. Roof terrace and pool is lovely. Brilliant breakfast with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again and recommend for a visit to Lisbon.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a nice size and kept very clean. The hotel is very "white" and modern. Breakfast was continental and excellent. Best of all you walk out the door and the Saldanha underground entrance is in front of you!

There is a small pool on the roof, but only room for 9 sun beds which were always full in our stay. But this was not an issue as the hotel couldn't fit any more in the small space.
