Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Good value. Excellent location near bus stops and underground station to the main museums, train stations, central London shopping areas and attractions. Nice London Underground-inspired decor.

Just a few niggles: the rooms with a balcony are smallish (and so is the balcony) and may not be suitable for an extended stay, but more than adequate for a short stay. For the security conscious: the facilities list a wired internet connection that doesn't actually exist. The wifi service provided is completely open to all within range, so bring your own mifi device if possible.

The front desk associate named Sophie was magnificent. We did sit up in the lobby for drinks because our room seemed so dark. They breakfast was good. Great location for Gloucester tube station. In the end, we did have an enjoyable stay.

From all I viewed on the Website, there was no mention of rooms in the basement. The first basement room they put us in smelled like sewage and was so tiny. Talked with assistant and not only did they move us to a bigger room but without any smell. Which made me wonder, why are the putting people in a room like that? Also, the picture of the hotel makes it look like it’s the whole building., not the small part of it that Ibis owned.

The room was quite small but they managed to fit a double bed in. Could be tight with 2. The room was very clean and came with water and tea making. The mattress was very comfy and I had a good nights sleep. Good air con and ability to open windows (velux) Friendly staff and relaxed bar/ reception area.

Lack of Instructions for the sink. The sink required a degree in engineering to work out. (You lift the tap to operate it and turn left or right for hot or cold. The sink plug is not operated by the lever behind the tap but by pushing the plug in or out manually.) This may save you a trip down to to reception to ask how it all works. Strangely positioned wall mounted lamp in the bedroom that you hit everytime you walk past it.

The location is perfect and we will stay there again in the future. The decor was pleasantly surprising. I loved the Underground tube theme, right down to the Water+Loo signs on the bathrooms and toilets, and the Underground themed books in the breakfast room. The continental breakfast was unfussy and tasty and just what we wanted. I had a latte coffee and was, again, pleasantly surprised that it was so good. Loved the quirky style.

As with all hotel rooms, the tea/coffee facilities are standard, and in my opinion, not great. The coffee is always Nescafe, which is strong, and the meagre supply of those little milk cartons is never enough to counter the coffee strength. One sachet of coffee between 2 of us is better, and of course we can always bring our own. The little biscuits were nice, but tiny. Again, we can bring our own next time.

Excellent location! Short walk to tube station, restaurants, bars, shopping, and historic points of interest. Staff were friendly and gracious. Rooms and common spaces were all clean and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and for a small space everything was well laid out and functional.

The only gripe would be the air conditioner and shower pressure were not as powerful as we’d like but they both got their jobs done.

Good hotel location in South Kensington, tube station only a block away and on direct line to airport. Plenty of places to eat nearby. I was given a room by the garden and got to hear the birds every morning. Room was clean and comfortable, excellent bathroom, decent breakfast, attentive housekeeping. Staff is friendly and helpful! I’d stay here again.

London hotel rooms are really small so you won’t have a refrigerator. I recommend getting a room with balcony like I did, for a bit more space, it does make a difference.

We stayed at this accommodation for 3 nights. The room was very clean. We were welcomed in the room with a bottle of water, a few bags of instant coffee, a pack of coffee creamer, a few tea bags and some biscuits. We had clean towels every day. The breakfast was perfect, definitely above average. A wide selection of salami, cheese, fruit, vegetables and various drinks. Anamaria served us at breakfast and made our stay at this accommodation even more beautiful. The metro station is right opposite the hotel which made it much easier for us to move around the city.

Dated from outside and a little hard to get Ubers, maybe cause of the Time I was getting them. Confusing to find room. I had a ground floor room so I could hear outside noise but still ok

We loved that the hotel was London themed! The breakfast was delicious with good variety! Staff were very welcoming each time we arrived back or woke for breakfast in the morning! Our room was a good size and clean with everything that we needed! Sofa in a hotel room is a lovely touch so you don’t have to sit in bed all the time!

Only issue we had was our espresso machine only worked once, but I’m sure if we let the team know (which we didn’t) then it would have been resolved straight away!

Breakfast was really good, exceeded my expectation: fresh fruit, selection of cereals, marmalades and honey, vegan milk options. Even coffee from the coffee machine was enjoyable. We had room in the basement, but I didn't mind as we used the room for afternoon rest and overnights. I could open windows and have fresh air during night. Air-conditioning was functioning and cooled down the room. Bed comfortable. Bathroom was tiny, but clean and well functioning. Location super, with Circle/District line or Piccadilly line all important sites were easily accesible. Overall very satisfied!
