The bar area was very small and very full late in the evening and some guests were well lubricated!! Which made it very noisy and not an enjoyable nightcap experience

Breakfast was good, egg benedict was done right and delish. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Location was great although it's not as close to the station as other hotels I stayed at before (e.g. Ampersands) but overall, it's very good...close to the park, Whole Food and lots of restaurants around. Room & bedding was comfortable too. Bathroom was large and everything works well.

The manager at the front desk was trying to sell a room to me when I requested for a late check out (flight was at 10pm and I asked to have the room till 3pm so a few hours after official check-out time of 12 noon). He understood me perfectly well the nature of my request, but still tried to sell a room at GBP 420 and that I could use the room till next morning (which wasn't what I wanted). I saw people checked out in the morning all the time. I guess they try to make money from this...which is understandable but after staying there for 6 straight nights, I would expect them to be more courteous.

The location of the hotel was great for our trip to the Royal Albert Hall and a very good location for travelling around London. The hotel staff were all impeccable and helpful at all times The breakfast was absolutely delicious

I put in a lot of time researching hotels for an anniversary trip with my wife. When I saw the reviews on TripAdvisor and other places for The Milestone I thought it was too good to be true. In fact, reading the reviews made my expectations so I high I thought I could only be letdown when I arrived. That was definitely not the case. The truth is, most 5 star hotels are nicely furnished with all the amenities and quality products. What sets the best ones apart are the people and service. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Steven to the time we checked out, we were made to feel like the only guests at the hotel. Without spoiling anything, the staff made sure to highlight our special occasion throughout the stay with little happies and gestures along the way. The breakfast far exceeded any I have ever had at a hotel. It was truly an experience in itself. Luis and Jaymin made sure each breakfast started the day on a high note and were always happy to send us on our way with a latte for takeaway. For any future travels I will always look to see if Red Carnation (the owner) has another property at that location we can book. I don't see how any other hotel could ever exceed our experience at The Milestone. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel immediately!

Location we were able to easily walk to many sites of interest. Comfort- the bed, pillows and sheets were wonderful! Breakfast was included everyday and it was delicious 😋. There was an option for the buffet or items to be cooked from the kitchen. Very nice assortment. Most importantly the staff were exceptional. Upon arrival you were warmly greeted and assisted with your luggage. They were very helpful in suggestions regarding transportation and restaurants. The day we were supposed to leave our flight to Dublin was cancelled and rescheduled for 7 hours later. They tried to assist us in finding another flight. Although they were not able to they held our luggage after we had checked out and even offered a room in case we needed to lie down. I felt like they went above and beyond.

The hotel took me back to old London, which I am too young to have witnessed. It withheld the essence of historical London, which was mesmerizing! The staff were amazing in their service. Every morning I went down for breakfast, it felt like a visit to old times and old manners. I was greeted, smiled at frequently, serviced from start to finish, and spoiled! The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of choices. I stayed for six mornings and was not tired of the sourdough or butter and jam that I was served! The room was spacious enough for the two of us and our two large to medium suitcases. The bed was excellent, and so were the pillows. The bathroom had all that we needed and more, and the cleaning services were amazing. We were happy to find a treat every time we came back to the hotel room. The bar was nice. I did enjoy a drink in the stable bar, where again you feel like you've stepped back in time. The bar was classy and quiet enough to have a heartwarming conversation with someone. The Milestone made my 4th visit to London more special than anytime before. The location is excellent too right infront of Kinsington Palace and gardens.

A trivial and minor thing really is that I wished the T.V was smart where I could log-in to Youtube or sign-in to my Netflex account. It would have made staying in the room more cozy. However, it did not affect my stay negatively in any way.

The room exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent.

The bed was very comfortable.The service from all the staff was top notch, very polite, gentle and friendly. All claims were responded to quickly and the breakfast produce was very good. Stayed for 6 nights this time and would choose this hotel again for my next visit to London.

Unfortunately, the tap in the bathroom of my room was damaged and the water temperature was very unstable, after adjusting the temperature, it was extremely hot and cold at the same time, so I needed to keep adjusting the temperature, and could not wash my hair and take a shower normally.The staff was very helpful and the next day they said that someone had repaired the problem, but unfortunately the problem persisted until I finally checked out of the hotel.

We have stayed in quite a few hotels in London but have finally found the gem we were waiting for! Such a wonderful hotel, old world charm but with modern amenities and the best part is the incredibly good service. From the moment the charming Steve opened the door for us, we were treated so well. Everyone is intent on making your stay perfect. We honestly couldn't fault anything. Housekeeping were brilliant, the bar was great for a meal before heading out, did I mention Steve the doorman, so helpful....breakfast was perfect, concierge knowledgeable, and did I mention Steve the doorman? Set in the heart of Kensington, opposite the palace gardens, it was so lovely to see this green oasis through the windows. Honestly such a TREAT we will most definitely be back!
