Booking for 1 night only for a quick stop in Zurich. Hotel very close to the city center, 5 minutes walking from the main HB station. Got upgraded to double room at an higher floor (with city view) for free during the check-in process. Room size fair enough. Double bed, mattress and pillows were okay. Keep in mind that the bathroom, sink and showers is “connected” directly with the room; only a curtain divide themselves. WC, instead, is located in a “little room” separated and closed with a door. Room’s soundproofing could be better. Breakfast okay.

I loved everything about this hotel. From the staff to the location to the lovely room I stayed at. My room had a nice view and coming back home I miss waking up to it. My room had everything I needed, although it was a bit small but it is perfect for singles or a couple with no kids. The location was right in the center just a 10 minute walk from the Shilquai bus station where most tour companies are stationed at, 10-15 minutes walk from the famous Bahnofstrausse , Old Town and the main train station. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant staff was probably one of the best in my experience. I’ve stayed at many hotels and I have to stay Tina is the kindest person I have met. Her cheerful character would make anyone’s day.

The Argentinan girl was kind and explained everything very carefully at the check in time. Evelyn the receptionists was very kind to us she offered us help after we arrived late at night and helped my mom (it was very meaningful to us). The Chinese receptionists both the woman and the guy were also very kind they helped us to check out and to storage the baggage in the hotel after checkout. All the staff is very nice, in the restaurant the Peruvian guy offered the menu and recommended good dishes according to our cravings. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfy I had the most amazing 3 nights 4 days getaway posible. I'll come back next year if its possible.

This hotel is centrally located in Zurich, just a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof (central station), making it extremely convenient for travelers. As a budget option, it attracts a diverse range of guests, which adds to its character. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, offering a wide variety to suit every taste — a definite highlight of my stay. I would also like to commend the young team at reception. Étienne (if I recall the name correctly) handled our check-in with professionalism and confidence, which I greatly appreciated. As a European traveler, I found the service entirely appropriate and efficient. I’m aware of some negative comments about the reception staff, but my experience was thoroughly positive. Overall, I would gladly stay here again.

This hotel is an amazing price value for what you get. The location cannot be beat - so walkable and the train station is right around the corner. The staff were all so friendly and kind and accommodating. The hotel was surprisingly modern and pretty, common spaces were nice and rooms looked very good. I will say the rooms are super small but that didn’t bug us at all because we don’t travel to sit in our room all day. It was perfectly comfortable for 2 people and the beds were very comfy too! Super clean as well.

While I was a little early to check in for the room, there was somewhere that I could wait a while beforehand. The air conditioning was a godsend given the heat outside. The breakfast had hot and cold options beyond what I would expect for a continental European hotel. The proximity to Zurich HB was really handy for getting there and away. Good sound deadening dulled the noise from tram line works that were ongoing outside; fatigue from an early start additionally ensured a good night's rest, which helped on Friday night when more noise was being made.

It is difficult to think of anything that stands out. Last minute booking for a weekend stay meant a higher tariff for me, the lesson being booking further in advance. That was not unexpected, though, and the price was lower than other establishments anyway.

I like the staff, very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was good. Location is 5-7 mins away from the Banhoff & bus stations for most tours. Old Town is a short walk from the hotel. I love the fact, that if needed, there were trams and buses passing in front of the hotel every few minutes.

My room was on the side of the street. I arrived on a warm day & most Zurich hotels do not have AC, the staff gave me a fan for the room. Also, since I had to open the window to let some air in.. I could also hear the noise outside especially the vehicles passing by. I do not agree with the design of the bathroom.. separate lavatory, toilet and shower stall that had a clear glass door. I am just not used to that. Good thing, I was alone in my room.

The location is excellent, conveniently close to Zurich HB train station. The hotel staff were very attentive and provided detailed directions to reach the hotel via public or private transport through the booking chat. The check-in counter staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and responsive to all my questions. They even recommended restaurants to experience authentic Swiss cuisine in Zurich. Additionally, the pay per use laundry room on level 2 is very convenient and well-maintained. However, you need to read the laundry service instruction in details and buy the token from check-in counter.

The location was great, easy walk to the main station and a nice walk along river to the old town. Trams everywhere, so anything further was also easy to reach. Breakfast was not a huge variety on cooked items or fresh vegetables / fruit, but plentiful. Scrambled eggs were above average for buffet breakfast and excellent bread. Bed comfortable. Although the rooms are small, they are generally well designed so did not feel overly cramped. Fine for short stay therefore (do not recommend if you do not pack light!). Good value for Zurich (not generally / compared to other cities!) Staff were friendly (although it sometimes felt a little chaotic at reception).

It was noisy if facing the road but to be expected with central location. We were a little unlucky in that next door is being rebuilt so scaffolding / builders etc. meant extra noise. The rooms are too hot (but appreciate that is subjective). Breakfast a little on the pricey side. Rooms need more hangers / hooks to hang clothing / towels etc.

Super clean , comfortable , fairly quiet for such a central hotel . Great breakfast , lovely bar . Helpful friendly staff . I think it was Lydia who gave us a great recommendation to visit Rhine falls . That really made our trip 😃 . Would recommend highly .

Our aircon didn’t seem to work and we actually forgot to report this as were able to open a window , which was very welcome and rare these days . The room was super clean and comfy with a great shower though . We noticed there was no option given to re-use towels which we have found in most hotels for years, so that was a shame on the eco front . As 2 friends we found it slightly amusing / weird to have a mirror above our heads in bed !
