The Hotel was modern, and very comfortable. Everything was clean, and the room was well equipped. The reception staff were super friendly, and helpful. There is a bar, with a nice area for lounging around or playing billiards. It was a short walk from the train station, an easy walk with a big suitcase. I would definitely stay here again, if visiting Strasbourg.

Being so close to the train station is handy, but it didn’t feel very safe in the area, a lot of drunk sketchy people hanging in the streets. However, after stepping into the hotel, you soon forget about this factor.

There was a certain amount of internal renovation work going on at the time of our visit, but this did not unduly spoil our experience. The room (on the first floor) was comfortable; with windows opening on to a sort of upstairs atrium. The only problem with this was that it didn’t feel entirely secure in terms of having windows open at night or when we were out. There were very effective shutters, however. For a corporate hotel it has a surprisingly “homely” feeling; even if the décor might not be to everyone’s taste. Certainly quirky; might annoy some people. We particularly liked it because someone had clearly put some serious thought into their choices. Easy access to the station, with at least one very good restaurant within easy striking distance, as well as easy walking distance into the city centre, and simple access to trams. Breakfast was generally good – though I would advise against the pickled herring. I was interested to note that a certain amount of corporate muzak was on offer on my first morning – albeit quiet enough to be ignored, whilst, on the second morning, either someone had forgotten to turn it on, or it had been turned off as a matter of policy. Either way, we were glad to be able to eat breakfast in peace and quiet.

Nothing (apart from the pickled herring!)

The staff were very helpful; they helped park the car and drive it out of their garage. The room seemed to be recently remodeled and was clean, well-appointed, and well air-conditioned. A bonus was the water station available near the lobby where we could fill up water bottles with still and sparkling water. The location was easy to drive to, and it was also easy for walking to restaurants in the area. While we did not get breakfast at the hotel, there were great cafes very near the hotel.

There wasn't anything that we found lacking/missing about the hotel.

Great location, just 10-15 minutes from the main attractions. The room was quite spacious, and the bed was comfortable. It was a bit cold in the room, and we couldn’t figure out how to adjust the temperature. It was a nice touch to receive a pack of traditional Christmas cookies as a gift from the hotel. It would have been better to have two bottles of water for two people, as we only received one. However, it was great to have a kettle and teabags in the room. The TV had the option to switch to English audio, which was a nice feature. The staff were sweet and helpful. Overall, a great choice for staying in Strasbourg.

The service was impeccable. We had arrived at 8:30 AM and we were allowed to check in early. Every member of staff was extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The property was located just a five minute walk from the train station and a quick 10-15 minute walk from the historic center and most of the city’s main attractions. The room was comfortable. I was always happy to return to the hotel after a long day of exploring beautiful Strasbourg!

The room was a bit dated especially the carpet. The carpet seemed to have a faint scent of cigarette smoke. Not sure if I was on the smoking floor (if that’s a thing there). One of the towels also had a hair which clearly wasn’t mine. The Wi-Fi connection also wasn’t that strong in my room and would constantly disconnect. Despite these defects I would definitely return to this property on a future visit because the pros definitely out weigh these cons. The service and friendliness of the staff is exceptional!

the staff are wonderful and very helpful. fastest check in I think we ever had. beds are very comfortable and everything is clean. the location is great and breakfast was wonderful.

the air conditioning was not working yet. part of their policy is to turn on the aircons for the whole building when the outside reaches a certain temperature which seems ok however we had booked this hotel for the aircon and when arrived it was around 25 degrees. we didn't want to sleep with the window open, due to the noise form the street, which in hindsight was not that bad. no aircon but they did look for a fan which turned out to be broken. they did make an effort which was much appreciated but I would say, don't offer rooms with aircon when you know they are not switched on for the season.

The staff was really the best part of the hotel, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and comfy. The shower was big, and we liked that WC was separate. The room had good lighting. Good bed and pillows.

The room is a bit small, but we did not mind. Location is very good if you arrive by train since it is close to the station. By car is a little bit an issue, since you need a special pass to enter Strasbourg (this is not a problem made by the hotel, but the city). We left our car in a city in Germany 15 minutes by tram from the hotel.

The room was clean and perfect, the bathroom was quite fresh and functional. The staff was always super kind. The breakfast was great, and the dining room has a nice mood. Usually the decorations are interesting and have relationship to the history of the building.

The parking spot was a bit narrow, but I was more concerned about the practice of the young man who wanted to help with the parking in every way possible. Please ask him not to insist on standing between car and the wall, just to make sure that the car does not hit the wall. Most cars have radars anyway

We were really pleased with all aspects of our stay here. We are a family of 2 parents and 4 children (age 9 - 15). We immediately felt welcome, with warm, friendly and efficient service from all the staff. It was a few minutes' walk from the train station, and about 10 minutes from the centre/tourist area of town. The lobby was comfortable and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The rooms were exactly how we had specified - we had two rooms of 3 people each - and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Extensive buffet breakfast made everyone happy.

Well located 5 minutes from the main train station and a block away from the tram system. The main centre of the medieval town is an easy walk away also. The room was comfortable and had coffee/tea making facilities.

Best Western's policy for the 'Rewards' programme is that you have to book direct. In my opinion, the majority of guests use a 3rd party provider (Booking, Trivago, Expedia, etc). I have booked 4 Best Western hotels over the last 3 months using one of these and I was not eligible for their rewards. This just makes people want to book elsewhere.
