The Gascogne is a large, slightly older, hotel on the edge of downtown Toulouse. The room was up to expectations and the reception was friendly and downstairs area refurbished. It made a good impression, and there was plenty of parking available (I think it only cost €9, which is half the price elsewhere). Breakfast was adequate and by the time one had had a second coffee, reasonably priced. I would have no problems staying here again.

The hotel and staff were excellent. The exterior looks 1970-1980 vintage (which has its charms) but the room looked newly renovated. The staff was very gracious. My room had a nice view onto vines, trees, and a park. Very soothing. Also very quiet. Spotlessly clean. Just three blocks from the hotel is an excellent traditional fruit, vegetable, cheese, and pastry market with several cafes and a small fully stocked modern supermarket. Easy walk to the center.

Personally I think the room would look prettier and fresher if the curtains were a light shade of green or blue. The terrace entrance of the hotel could be better tended and beautified (it looks neglected).

The hotel is just a 5- mins walk away from the tram station and metro station. As we had to go to the conference center MEET outside Toulouse, the hotel was the perfect choice, as we had a direct tram to go there. You can also easily walk to the city center within 20 mins. Staff is very friendly. The rooms have a decent size and offer everything you need.

Very well-located accommodation. The staff were lovely and always willing to help, from the booking process to the end of the stay. I had to arrive early for work, and they kindly let me access the room before the usual check-in time. It also has parking, and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Location was very good - close to metro close to interesting part of town.Heaps of brasseries - restaurants. Vibrant multicultural crowds to watch. window with view of near neighborhood. One lady at the front desk was very charming and helpful.. Advised us on transport, markets taxis and airport etc. Breakfast was excellent. Everything plentiful and fresh.

Bathroom was awkwardly designed. Shower water went allover the floor. Room was small and cramped for two with suitcases.Road was very busy with police and ambulances. nearby hospital

Great hotel, really friendly and helpful staff. Good location - really close to metro, tram and bus links. Food was delicious too. Clean & tidy. They were hosting a speed dating night, which made it even more fun!

No complaints from me or my friend - the room was fairly basic but has everything you need.

We chose this hotel mainly because it was close to the stadium but turned out to be also convenient for center of the city. the staffs were very willing to help our stay to be comfortable. The atmosphere was cozy and clean so we're able to relax during our stay. The breakfast was delicious too.

Friendly staff, quiet location, great local for us going on a conference (close to Centre close to tram 1)

Breakfast was a little bit boring, room on bottom floor did not have a view (could not see outside of the windows due to windows being really high up on the wall)

The union of the tiles in the shower had some mold spots. The draining in the sink was not properly working. Wifi was not good.

10-15 minute walk to the city center, Lots of restaurants close by and in the city center of course. Private parking available as well. Public Transport is close by as well. Decent breakfast.
