I recently stayed at City Hotel Mercator and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to tram lines that take you to all the main tourist attractions. It’s only about a 6-minute tram ride from Frankfurt’s main train station, which made getting around the city effortless. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the reception staff were welcoming, cooperative, and always ready to help. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Frankfurt, especially if you're looking for a comfortable and accessible place to stay.

The only downside was the internet connection it was slow and frequently interrupted, which could use improvement.

Affordable in a good location. Has everything you need- spacious room, large bed for two, full body mirror, a fridge!! And a HAIRDRYER! Which i didnt expect. Also water pressure in the bathroom is great! With bathtub and everything.

We came at the hottest week in Frankfurt, there was no AC in the room so really affected our sleep. Otherwise wouldve been a great stay!

Everything was cool, the room was clean and comfy, so was the bathroom. The biggest plus was having fridge!! And the hotel is pretty close to the city center also, which was really helpful. The staff were also really nice and helpful. We checked in late at night and the reception was not working, but the gate system was really helpful for us to get into hotel at that hour.

Everything was correct. Check-in, check-out and stay were very smooth and uneventful, as they always should be. It's fa from luxury but it fit my standards. Easy to manage heating system, especially for someone who comes from a country where that is not needed. Very pratical and simple room.

There should be a safe box in the room. Cleaning personnel are usually very honest, but why tempt them?

A good find and comfortable rooms, quite central and lovely staff. Good spacious rooms for Frankfurt and attention to detail like tea kettle in the room.

The rooms get a bit stuffy when warm and the curtains were super thin, so the sunlight enters quite early / makes the room warm. The walls are a bit thin so could hear surrounding noises but nothing dramatic.

The location was great, Rewe 3 min, U-bahn, tram and bus station very close. The room had a fridge, enough space for all stuff, a tee maker, a fan for summer, and a radiator for winter. It was a calm and clean neighborhood.

I could hear people in other rooms. I don't know they were too loud or walls were thin, but in general, it was bearable.

Great that we were able to park the car at the hotel facility. Great that we were able to start our breakfast early. The staff at the reception were very helpfull.

The room could have been a bit bigger. The double bed could have been wider. We wish we had been able to have aircondition instead of a noisy fan.
