The hotel was very comfortable, rooms nice and clean wit a great bathroom. We ate dinner in the restaurant and bar, the food was good and waitress very friendly.

Did not like the fact that the hotel advertised its convenient shuttle bus to airport. We waited close to 40 minutes at 6am in the freezing cold for the bus which was supposed to be there every 10-15 minutes. Also the bus dropped us off in the airport car park and we had to walk 15 minutes in the freezing cold to get to the terminal. Sorry but this is a deal breaker, will not stay here again as a result!

Location was excellent. Lots of choices for meals.

There were six young children - very rude and disrespectful, playing in the elevators (refusing to let adults on; riding up and down, etc.) and running in the corridors. They were yelling and upsetting furniture in the elevator area. When I brought this to the attention of the girl at the desk, a man came out and said, "yes we know, they are leaving tomorrow .... nothing we can do". I found this response to be dismissive and irresponsible. For this lack of responsibility, I would hesitate to book this property again.

It's a great hotel with a great restaurant. I had an amazing time there and it was so delicious. The airport shuttle is excellent.

The staff wasn't really there. I wish I could check in with someone cause I would've had the opportunity to ask for the schedule for the shuttle. I had a very early flight and needed to be there at 4 am. So I wanted to get as much sleep as possible but also don't want to be late. I tried to find a schedule online finding that it goes every 20 min but when does the 20 min start? I didn't want to be late by 2 minutes for example and then needing to wait 18 minutes for the next one. That would've been wasted sleep. I tried to call the reception at 7 pm with no one picking up. Tried it 3 times. Long story short if you make people check in at the self checking them please provide some information in the room. Just to have peace of mind.

The breakfast was amazing and always well-stocked, even at the end of breakfast. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff friendly. The bartender Stephen was especially kind and made my son a sort of vitamin bomb tea to help him feel better since he caught a cold on our trip.

We didn't research well enough and didn't realize how secluded the hotel is, so we either had to take a taxi to Dublin (about €45 each way) or the free shuttle to the airport and then from there the bus into the city center or other cities (which was super inexpensive but also a long trip).

Although this was our first visit to Dublin, we found it easy to make our way at the Airport to the shuttle pick up at area 16. The bus was clearly marked and the driver was courteous and helpful. It took only 15 minutes to get to the hotel, where we were greeted by a very friendly staff (especially Karen). Our room was ready (early) and we were quickly making our way downtown after an excellent lunch. Our room was comfy (especially the bed) with a nice view overlooking horses grazing. The hotel has been well sound-proofed (didn't notice the planes at all). We took cabs to and from downtown and were pleasantly surprised by their low rates.

Your website is NOT user friendly. I tried to do room service for breakfast, but felt I was going nowhere. Finally just went down to get coffee myself. This was the most frustrating part of the stay. Front desk was helpful when I checked in despite my not being able to produce the verification due to internet issues. I really enjoyed the Italian restaurant. Kudos the server and the host for their accommodation. Room was comfortable, clean, as were the common areas. I do like the options you have for meeting and greeting. I especially appreciated the free shuttle although finding it was initially not easy. The driver who was in the morning (around 9:30 - 10:00) was especially helpful and courteous with each and every passenger. (long blonde hair, very efficient but in a likable way). Great brand steward for the Clayton.

The bartender came across annoyed to me. Maybe a long night? Or telling too many of us to go to the host station?

Good room, lovely hotel, near the airport with a free shuttle bus and friendly staff ( as one would expect). Great little coffee shop/bar at reception, split restaurants all in all very good.

To be honest really taking the biscuit with their food and drink prices. I mean really. I know you are paying for service and staff etc, but it was just extortionate. I walked over to the nearby service station for lunch the afternoon after I stayed because the equivalent burger and chips with a large cola (actually it was a better burger and chips) was near half the price. The same went for beer which I found out on the first night. I get that residents are essentially a captive audience but it felt like one was getting fleeced with a smile,

This was my first visit to Dublin, and Ireland for about 10 years, and it was good to know that the airport had a Clayton within the boundaries of the airport, as I have stayed at a few different locations at Clayton hotels. This hotel in fact met my expectations, although the courtesy bus to and from the airport and hotel, was quite rammed it was very pleasing to know it is complementary, i know some other hotel brands to charge for this, which was a nice thank you to this Clayton hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel, which its location is very good to Dublin airport, it was quite busy in the reception , arrival desk area, but I was soon dealt with , in a professional manner by the staff at the desks. the entrance area and lobby looked in nice condition and no problem with cleanliness throughout the hotel and going to my allocated room, via the elevators. One slight issue is that their are only 2 elevators and both are quite small, which I think will have issues and complications for whenever it gets busy. Arriving into the room, the room was bright, nice colours and features, everything did work and everything in fine order, cleanliness was more than adequate too. The room offered a nice view of arriving and departing aircraft too, which I was on the 8th floor. So the state of the room and room itself was more than great! it suited me well for just 1 night as I had a flight very early the next morning. What was also a great feature of this hotel in particular they have a coffee bar the reception area, which was open at 4am, and it was certainly good to have a coffee actually before getting to the airport, so having this amenity was great for this Clayton hotel, much appreciated. ! The dining facilities and bar was again a good experience , and I went to the Italian restaurant , it was nice to have proper food since having being up nearly all day, in travelling to Dublin. The atmosphere was great in both areas, and the staff were very attentive.

The only negative a found during my stay at the Clayton , was that the service between the meals in what I ordered at the Italian restaurant, was a bit slow, and at the time at around 6.45pm, the place wasn't heaving If I was travelling through Dublin airport again, then I would use this Clayton hotel, the negative isn't enough for me not to choose this hotel again.
