We had a concert next door, so location wise it was perfect, but have since discovered other hotels as close, at half the price
They’re complete cowboys. When we booked, it was 250e non refundable which is fine!! Was gonna stay anyways, the following day they dropped the price of the room by 100e. When I contacted them, I was met with a brick wall and a “tough shit” type of attitude. We stayed a year previous to this and got stung by them again, and when I challenged them, they did give us free breakfast - free breakfast would not have covered what they did this time, and we weren’t looking for freebies, we just didn’t want to be robbed, but we were. It’s ideal for location, but I’ve since discovered other hotels thankfully because we will never darken the door of the place again.

Loved that we were just out of the city , but close to the city via public transport. The tram is just outside the door! We caught the tram and walked around the city and TempleBar. (It is about a 30 min if you walk ) Some good pubs/bars close by to the hotel. If you are attending an event at the Arena, it's opposite the hotel. Parking was under the hotel and was reasonably priced. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Bed was comfy and room spacious. We had a large shared balcony/deck space outside our room accessible via double sliding doors, which was really lovely to sit on and drink our morning cuppa. (NOTE: It was like Melbourne docklands , a little quiet, but close to (things and) public transport!)
Out TV was cantankerous and didn't play... the staff came up and fixed it on both days of our stay.. This was not a problem as such , as the staff were able to fix it.

Booked this is was going to a concert at the 3arena. It’s literally a stones throw away from the arena and the air coach stop is right round the corner. Also has a few restaurants in close proximity and is a short walk into the town centre. Staff were wonderful. I had booked a king room for me and my daughter as that’s all that was available at the time of booking. When we got there I asked if we could have separate singles duvets on the bed instead of one big one and they moved us into a twin room instead so we each had our own bed. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and all areas including the bathrooms were clean.
Nothing. Staff/room/location were all superb

The room was lovely with comfortable beds and breakfast was amazing. Great selection of foods and drinks and the option to order anything not on buffet.
We checked in online but there was a mix up and we ended up having to queue for the front desk after a long trip. The room was far too warm and the staff member sent out to help with air con wasn't very helpful. We slept with the window open all night it was still very stifling. The shower door let water out onto the floor. Our parking wasn't validated so paid €35 instead of €25. The staff we encountered seemed quite untrained and weren't great. Except for the lady at breakfast who was lovely.

Great location for attending 3arena and only a short luas trip into the shops. Can be pricey, I had it booked months before and checked in and paid the night before my visit. I happened to check if any spare rooms for a friend who then decided to join us, shortly after I had checked in and paid, only to find the rooms were so much cheaper..I was very disappointed with this as there was a very big difference in the price. Also, in any hotel I would expect a spotlessly clean room, I found a large hoop gold earring on the floor just peeking out from under the bed and also a few areas of dust that had been missed, besides that the room was clean, so I didn't make a fuss. Beds were very comfy and no noise during the night. I would recommend this hotel.

Location excellent for concert in 3 Arena . It's directly across the road. Was great to walk across the road to our hotel after a show at the 3 Arena . Location excellent for transport to Heuston station, door to door on the red line Luas. Also if you want to pop into the city centre the Luas from outside the door of the Gibson will take you to the door of the Jervis shopping centre. Rooms are modern spacious and very clean . Staff were very friendly. Bar is modern yet it feels welcoming and casual. Breakfast was excellent.
Room felt too warm without the air con system running but this was a bit noisy to leave on during the night

Really good location, especially for the 3Arena. Tram stop right outside so easy to get to other places in Dublin. Room was really spacious, bed was comfortable. We also had a balcony which was nice, though it did look directly into the student halls opposite.
We genuinely didn’t see a single member of staff at the reception desk the entire time we were there - which wasn’t particularly helpful when we were unable to find our room due to a lack of signage to the rooms on the 3rd floor. They have self check-in/self-check out at reception, but it would’ve been nice to have a member of staff at the desks too to help if needed so we didn’t have to spend time walking around the hotel trying to find our room.

Staff was doing a good job, despite early check-in not being an option, not surprising the day after full house.. Luggage was handled just fine, and there was time to suggest a few sights and other recommendations. Lovely front desk team, although the first person clearly lacked experience with looking up reservations in the system, it's OK we've all experienced being new at some point. Room very well laid out and excellent bathroom, the fact that housekeeping had done an absolutely outstanding job made it even more pleasant to stay in. Bed outstanding and very well made up as well, no need to ask for extra pillows, already available in the closets. Glad we decided to include breakfast, it was excellent, we loved the little salad bowls. Everything quite delicious besides the scrambled eggs that were wet, soggy and absolutely miserable.
The surroundings are somewhat uninteresting, and the trams weren't running due to some gasleak elsewhere in the city. Not something the hotel has any influence on, but it did underline that the location is quite a bit away from things. Good fresh walk to the point area ...

The hotel overall was great value for money. Good location and tram link just outside the hotel with centra, Starbucks and local amenities next door. I would come here again!!
The hotel staff tried to keep the deposit as they said the room seemed ‘Smokey’ but after considering what I told them they gave me it back- we were not smoking in the hotel room so found it a little annoying how they assumed we were. Otherwise, 10/10 location, hotel, staff everything else is spot on and I’ll recommend to friends and visit again- it’s also right infront of the 3 arena so great place to stay if you’re attending any concerts there.

Close proximity to 3Arena and good transport connections to airport and city. Friendly staff and really helpful. Bartender wouldn't let me waste the drinks vouchers I was given for the room delay on diet coke and gave it to us on the house. Good airflow, air conditioning.
The main shower didn't work, but the detachable shower head did, though with low pressure. I did online check in but the room wasn't ready for 2 hours after we arrived. The staff were friendly and gave us drinks vouchers to apologise which was a kind gesture but I really just wanted my room.
