The location was good for a leisurely walk into the city, about 15 minutes. The cooked breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of items, including desserts.

We arrived at 130 in the morning, so there were no shops open. We ordered pizza for room service, which was nice, but we had no drinks, as that service stops at 230, including soft drinks. As other guests have previously mentioned, a vending machine would have been a welcome addition. A carton of water was supplied with the room, and tea/coffee facilities were present. But a soft drink or alcohol would have been better with pizza.

How close the hotel is to the luas stop. Friendly reception staff and particularly kayla in restaurant she really looked after us, and nothing was too much trouble. Myself and my mam are frequent visitors to this hotel.

We didn't add breakfast to our stay as we aren't big breakfast people, but one morning, while I was getting a shower, my mam wanted some tea and toast she went down to the restaurant where they serve the breakfast and she was refused despite having done this a few times before she was always allowed get some tea and toast and paid for it at the till in the restaurant but this time she was told its against their regulations....thought it was a little unfair as it was accepted before on other trips.

The hotel is very new, about a 30-minute walk from Trinity College, with supermarkets nearby. The tram stops right at the door and it’s only a 10-minute walk to the Dublin Express bus stop for the airport. Check-in and check-out are easy with self-service kiosks, and the staff guide you if needed.

There are few cafés in the area, and on Sundays only the hotel’s own café is open. Cleaning was a bit slow – one day only the towels were changed and the beds left unmade, although it improved when we used the ‘make up room’ sign. The price was high, though this was mainly due to the Oasis concert raising city prices in general.

The property itself is perfect, clean spacious rooms. Easy check in and check out, luggage storage after check out to continue your day. The hotel is exceptional.

The only issue I had was checking in, we were paying with cash which was absolutely no issue but the lady at the reception said it was €100 deposit per person which wasn’t stated on booking.com, the receptionist was adamant this was true but checking the app, nothing was available about it. This small miscommunication issue put a little damper to the trip away but through no fault of the receptionist or myself. Just needs to be more clear.

I may be getting old, but lighting quite low in terms of brightnesss.

no desk ( although a small table). . No fridge. Cafe hours too short. Always Ways closing as i return, Although deep clean offered but not encouraged. Refresh wasn’t always refresh. towels were changed daily but needn’t have been. Bedding should be rethought. Very thick doona , too hot, if moved doona away only doona cover . It would be better to have 2 sheets and a doona that can be easily manipulated. Menu limited and sizing way too large and for what could be eaten rather expensive . Smaller portions would be appreciated and not wasteful.

Very good hotel - new, clean, comfortable, with AC in the room, good location - 20 min. walk to Dublin centre, very nice, helpful and professional staff, great breakfast options - there even were vegetables (so rare in the Isles).

Parking in the conference centre 2 streets away - not very easy walk with a lot of luggage. Elevators - so modern you do not steer it inside (no buttons inside, one chooses reception, restaurant or floor before getting in), so sometimes it took us where we didn't want and we had quite a lot of random travels as someone else called a lift and we weren't priority anymore - very strange as usually first in should be first served.

Hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was amazing it literally had everything. Room was spacious and clean also with heaps of complementary bits. Only downfall was the noise from drain in the shower. Would recommend this hotel and we would return with fingers crossed for no drain issues the next time.

Only downfall was the drain in the shower was making bubbling noises like trapped air or something on and off for the duration. I paid extra for a room upgrade, so I was slightly disappointed that no compensation or discount was offered for this, as it kept me awake most of the night.

Very comfortable room, lovely restaurant and food. The beds were amazing they were so comfortable and the pillows, your head sunk into them, so exceptional good sleep. My room 414 was quiet also. Close to the Luas too which is handy. Also great location to the Aviva I would recommend this hotel and would go again as it was handy to the tunnel coming from the motorway.

Unfortunately, the car park could not be used due to a convention so we had to park a long way from the hotel. I have walking difficulties and so did a passenger so this was not good for us. We had travelled from N Ireland so needed the car. Pity there was no disabled parking for the hotel. There was a little smell in our room of sewage coming up from the drains but it went after the window was open, then we used the aircon after that.
