Breakfast was GREAT! Location was extremely convenient! The staff is what made our for an Excellent stay. The room were a bit small for me but extremely clean. I especially appreciated the daily complimentary water and soda/drinks and snack.
A shuttle from airport to hotel without added expense. Maybe if hotel had their own driver staff. It was however very convenient that the hotel staff organized pick I and drop off.

Excellent location—just steps from the Opera House and within a 30-minute walk to most key sights. Restaurants and a grocery store are nearby. Our room faced the Opera House, and hearing the musicians rehearse in the afternoon was a delightful experience. The breakfast spread was impressive, and the staff surprised my wife with a birthday tart and song, which made her day. Amenities like the sauna and gym added to the convenience.
I enjoy sleeping with the windows open; however, morning street cleaning and bottle collection can be noisy. Otherwise, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful.

IQ Hotel Roma gave us everything we needed for our short break. If you are from the UK, it is like a Premiere Inn, but with free snacks and drinks (which my children loved) and beer in the mini bar. The rooms are basic and functional, but clean and well serviced. There were bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap etc and also cotton buds, cotton wool, nail files and hair dryer in the bathroom. It felt as though they wanted to make sure you had everything you needed. Housekeeping were exceptional. There is a self service laundry room in the hotel, with Miele appliances (washers and driers), which dispense laundry liquid for you. There is also an iron and ironing board. There are also spaces in the hotel where there are vending machines for things you may not have, such as tweezers, beers and wines and food. There is a roof top terrace with tables and chairs if you need some fresh air. The breakfast was good. There is an excellent coffee machine, freshly baked croissants, tarts, cake and pastries. The freshly squeezed orange juice was welcome. The cooked breakfast wasn’t so good, but that didn’t bother us too much. There was fresh fruit, cheeses and yoghurts etc too. The location of the hotel is great. We walked to the Trevi Fountain in around 20 minutes and there were lots of restaurants and gelato places along the way. It is also a very short walk to the metro in case you would prefer to catch a tube somewhere. The tube goes across the city and to just outside Vatican City. You can also transfer to the train station to get a train to and from the airport via the Metro. There are several decent restaurants close by. The restaurant above the hotel is fabulous. Very attentive staff and great food. The hotel is also very close to an opera house, which I hadn’t realised from the map. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have maps at reception should you need one.
Cooked breakfast could be a lot better, but this can be said of a lot of hotels where the breakfast is buffet style.

This is our second time staying at IQ Roma. We traveled as a family of 5 so we had two rooms (a triple and double). I love this hotel so much. Its in a great location (easy to walk to sights) and is quiet and clean. The only downfall was that the beds and room temperature were so comfortable that we slept in until 9:30 am nearly everyday :). We did not eat at the restaurant on the top floor (where the breakfast used to be) but did have a bottle of wine and an appetizer the first night we got there. The wine and cocktails were good but the appetizer was just ok. (I don't think the restaurant is part of the hotel as we couldn't charge our bill to the room). The breakfast was as amazing as I remember. A great variety of delicious food and reasonably priced. It was a nice was a great way to start the day with lots of fresh options. The staff was wonderful and aided us in getting taxis and private cars for trips to the airport. My youngest also enjoyed the rooftop hot tub after a long day of walking. We originally had booked a much more expensive hotel down the street as IQ did not have availability, about 3 months prior. They charged extra for everything (use of the hot tub) and you had to make reservations for drinks and a breakfast time. I kept checking booking.com for cancellations at IQ and luckily about a week before our trip, two rooms became available and I immediately switched bookings. So glad I did!

We love how clean and bright the rooms were. The lighting were well designed. For eg, besides it being bright, it can also be dimmed down to create a cozy ambiance; which is great when we were about to sleep. The hotel staff were very thoughtful and friendly. The makeup room service was great, making our rooms clean and ensuring the necessities were replaced daily. I also love how centralised the location is! And lastly, the breakfast had a good spread too; from the usual morning eggs, cereal, bread to yoghurt and even Asian rice!
The hotel is about 11-12 minutes walk from Rome Termini (if you’re traveling to/from inter cities, this station is very important), and about 5 minutes walk from Republica station. It is impossible for us to push our luggage from Rome termini along the cobbled walkway to the hotel. We had to call for taxi services to and from the main train station, which costs about 11-12 Euros.

Breakfast was one of the best we've experienced after travelling through many different hotels through Italy and Europe for 7 weeks. Amazing selection, premises and service. Also the fact that they had their own laundromat was an opportunity for us to catch up on some laundry that had been difficult to deal with when travelling for extended periods of time. Their rooftop restaurant was amazing and one of the best food experiences we've ever had.
Parking our vehicle and unloading out the front is a little difficult with no formal area to do so. Other than that there isn't much to complain about.

The rooms and bathrooms are clean, beds are very comfortable with great pillows. IQ provides almost everything you need in the bathroom with their vanity kits (Cotton pads, qtips, nail file, etc), along with lotion, shampoo and conditioner. They also provide a great variety of snacks and drinks every day at no additional cost in the room. And the included breakfast across the lobby is wonderful! The concierge is quick to help whenever you need, and very friendly. Also, they speak English very well, which was very helpful for us. The laundry facilities were convenient and cleaned our clothes well. Only two washers and two dryers, so sometimes they were full, and they are a bit tricky. Also, try the Osteria di Riposto across the street! Best food I had in Rome! The picture is the view from our room. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a central location, in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Doreen at the reception. The breakfast was superb. The Philippine staff at the breakfast room were very efficient and friendly. The best thing for my group was the large selection of sweet fresh fruits. Very good value for the money
One relatively small issue with hair dryer for ladies with long hair. The hair dryer will stop working after a few minutes. You have to wait for it to cool down before you can continue

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located close to the train station, making it ideal for travelers. The flexible check-in and check-out times were a great bonus, allowing me to adjust to my schedule easily. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a reliable air conditioning system that kept the space comfortable. Breakfast options were varied and satisfying, offering something for everyone. Additionally, the price was reasonable for the quality and amenities provided. Overall, a great value for money! Oh, and the snacks were included!
Offering shuttle rides to the airport without having an extra expense.

The property was clean and well maintained. Unlike most hotels since COVID-19 the rooms are cleaned everyday and beds are made. the front end staff was helpful and friendly. The housekeeping and maintenance staff did a great job.
Unfortunately, Rome is a dirty with litter, beverage containers strewn about. Rome also in has a lot of homelessness and people sleeping on the streets near the hotel. However, the hotel has no control of the lack of city services or social ills. We never felt unsafe or afraid at anytime unlike Chicago.
