From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more accommodating. Akin to being welcomed by old friends. Friendly and helpful staff at the attached restaurant served great food and never rushed us away. The location was remarkable. One member of our family has some mobility issues, and so many favorite spots were easily reachable from this beautiful hotel. The small bar they recommended around the corner served well priced and delicious breakfasts.Taxis in Rome are like searching for diamonds, but the Metro was just a short walk and easy to negotiate. The rooms were both charming and elegant, the bathrooms out of a design magazine, the beds heavenly, and although tiny, the elevator served us well. Our grandchildren adored their room with several little hidden alcoves. Ruben was available by day, and had a perfect command of English, the other members of staff were equally delightful. We cannot imagine finding a happier spot in Rome.

Loved this small hotel. Perfectly located, 90 secs.from Spanish Steps and walking distance to all other attractions. Staff were lovely and friendly although we really did not need them.flr anything. Hotel has has less than 10 rooms and is very quirkly. Narrow staircases to get to rooms and one small lift that luggage can go in. Our.room, 106, was great. Spacious with a traditional feel. Had all required amenities, safe, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, complementary toiletries and bottle of wine. Room was immaculate and cleaned daily.

One big issue for me. No shower. Small handheld on bath but nowhere to hold it up so impossible to wash long hair. I also like a shower after a long day of walking which I could not do.

The staff treated us like royalty. Even before we arrived, we felt welcomed. The staff messaged us with recommendations for dinner, car services to/from airport and train station, and let us know they were available for assistance anytime we need it. Upon checking in, we were offered a room upgrade and complimentary breakfast at their sister property. Our bags were taken up to our room and a complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us in our huge room. They have a restaurant downstairs that was not only convenient, but delicious. I will be recommending this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome. It is very centrally located to the Spanish Steps a 2min walk and 30min walk from the Colosseum and Vatican City. Via dei Corso just kiddy corner for shopping.

The location is perfect, just a couple minutes walking from the Spanish Steps and the subway station that connects you with Roma Termini Train Station in just 15 minutes. The hotel is clean, the room we stayed in was spacious and provided us with everything we needed for our stay (hair drier, toiletries, slippers and bathrobes, etc..). Upon arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of Chianti wine kindly offered by the hotel and a note wishing us a pleasant holiday. The staff has been incredibly helpful throughout our whole stay. Special thanks to Ruben for being so friendly and considerate!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mario de Fiori 37, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like we were the most important guests in Rome. Their hospitality was truly exceptional — they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from personalized recommendations for dining and sightseeing to helping us with transportation and reservations. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Rome, it’s just a short walk to iconic landmarks like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza del Popolo, yet the hotel still offers a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, this place is perfect for exploring the city. The rooms themselves are charming and comfortable, providing a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic Roman style. It's clear that every detail is thoughtfully considered to make guests feel welcome and at ease. I can't recommend Mario de Fiori 37 enough. The staff truly made our stay unforgettable, and the prime location gave us easy access to everything we wanted to see. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines great service, unbeatable location, and a cozy, stylish atmosphere, this is the place!

Location is amazing

This property is amazing - it exceeeded my expectations since I had booked seeing its high rating .Ideally located to step and theres all that you need chic restaurants , shopping and all sites walking distance including Spanish steps , Trevi fountain ,Piazza Navona .But the best part is the warmth with which you are greeted by Olga and Ruben at the front desk and the courteous and helpful service of both of them as also the entire staff .Ruben is the owner's son but comes across as a very humble and caring young man who makes your stay exceptional .Breakfast is at a different property but sumptuous where the staff is equally warm and courteous .Kudos to the training parted by the management of the hotel group .Will certainly come back to this property when in Rome next .

The location of the property was excellent. It was 2 blocks to Spanish Steps and all the great restaurants. We actually ate at Ristorante 34 on the same street 3 times!!!! The bed was super comfortable- best in Italy!!!! The toilet was in a separate room from the shower- which was ideal. All newly updated with marble walls. The size of the room was quite large for Italy. The staff was very professional and polite. There are only 9 rooms I believe but it has been remodeled and they are adding a small restaurant and sitting area so it will be great. The room was serviced every day. You had to walk up 1 flight of stairs to the room but it was no issue for us and there was a small elevator we did not use. There was coffee in the room, a safe, refrigerator, and everything we needed. I would stay here again. We walked to everything from here- took a very short taxi to train station on day of departure which hotel arranged for us at 5:30 am Definitely eat at Ristorate 34 —-2 doors down

There was no magnifying mirror for women to put on makeup. Just a little thing to have not that important. If the shower doors ( which was very spacious and great) were not closed properly, the floor would get soaked.

The Mario de Fiori 37 is a boutique hotel just moments from the Spanish Steps, surrounded by elegant shopping, bustling gelato shops and charismatic restaurants. The nine rooms are beautifully appointed, with upmarket amenities that one expects and pays more for in other nearby four-star hotels. Our junior suite had been thoughtfully renovated to accent the centuries-old wood beam ceiling with contemporary inset lighting. It was a welcome retreat from the busy streets with a very comfortable king bed, silent air conditioning and spacious bath. The staff is welcoming and helpful. And you couldn’t be more centrally located to enjoy a walk to the great monuments of Rome in the morning and immerse yourself in Italian craftsmanship in the afternoon.

We had 2 junior suites and 1 suite. The upper level suite was too hot. The air was not working and the temp in the room the morning we left was 28 C despite being set to 16 C for two days. The other two rooms were cold. Otherwise the place was excellent. They were very helpful in arranging transfers for us and overall were very courteous.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful hotel. Every staff member was incredibly warm and helpful. The central location couldn't be more convenient for exploring the city - I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Although the bed and pillows are a little bit softer, my overall experience was excellent thanks to the team's attentive service. This hotel clearly prioritizes guest comfort and satisfaction.
