Front of house staff very friendly, and breakfasts were great

The male working in breakfast check in speaks to the staff in a derogatory manner in front of guests, which was uncomfortable to see, they were working very hard and he was nit picking and talking down to them.

The breakfast was lovely, good selection. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was really helpful to be able to store our luggage on arrival as we had a very early flight

Our room was quite warm. However, when we opened the window, it was quite noisy. There was some sort of equipment outside on the roof- air conditioning or heating maybe - and this was loud.

Great friendly staff, lovely food, hot and cold food was lovely, plenty for all, and staff willing to help if you needed anything. The location was great, 15 minutes walk into town centre or 5 minutes bus, which you can catch right outside. the beach is minutes away, with lovely clean sand and a lovely clear sea. Also, it's not that busy. pool was good, just a little dark. rooms were spacious, and there was plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. The bed was comfortable and big made up of two large singles, but you don't notice the join. Separate toilet and bathroom both could do with an update. However, both are very clean. Bar and restaurant were great, and you can always sit out in the terrace area if it's nice. The price for food and drink is reasonable. Overall, it was a great hotel.

hotel is showing its age, rooms have been decorated, but carpet and floorboards need attention, a little creaky when walking around and you can hear it from room above. The bathroom and toilet could do with updating The stairwells smell musty and damp. Lighting in the pool area could be brighter. With breakfast and dinner, could do with a sign to say what things are.

Location great across the road from the beach & 10 min bus ride into St Helier if you don’t want to walk.

No air conditioning. The fan wasn’t very good and the room was above a flat roof where builders were working so couldn’t have the window open it was noisy and really hot.

The property also includes a swimming pool and jacuzzi. I have to give a SPECIAL mention to Jerrick and his wife who were constantly on duty both day and night and very helpful. Breakfast hasn’t changed since how many decades ago and offers the best breakfast you can imagine with a variety of fresh fruit, quality sausages and crispyish bacon, ample of it.

Nothing to be fair. Easy access to the centre of St Helier although the car park is an issue if you’re not driving a Jersey sized car and limited space, so get there early.

Beachfront not too far from amenities good bar and delicious pepperoni pizza.

Had a do not disturb sign on the door for a reason but staff decided to knock on and let themselves in when we was in bed. Then asked if we needed any towels I find this very strange considering it was the morning after and the sign was put on there so we aren't disturbed. Also on the last day sign on the door again and we paid for late check out yet again staff knocked on them decided to let themselves in again! If a sign is on the door don't knock don't come in it shouldn't be happening. Based on this it has put me off staying again. Also bathroom door not cleaned wiped it all down myself as I could see marks all over it.

It was close to the beach & central to town

Room was too hot & windows lead Onto outside fire escape/ stairwell so although windows open there was no air & the room was dark & dingy

Clean and spacious rooms with a great location and (partial ?) sea view. Great breakfasts, cosy bar for drinks and excellent evening meals. Friendly staff always at hand when needed.

Parking availability is limited (still always found a space) and can be problematic, having to leave keys at reception should the car need moved. Getting lost trying to find your third floor rooms was easy, but it is a fabulous old building though. Maybe a fridge in the room should be considered.

Being from Jersey this is always our go-to place for a staycation! Perfect location, good value, friendly staff, great food & ideal facilities for a family! the rooms are nice & spacious, the breakfast is brilliant! Nice size swimming pool, jacuzzi & sauna as well as changing facilities with showers. This is definitely one of the best places on the Island for all types of people from families to individuals.

We were given single beds instead of a double which was disappointing, when it stated it would be a double. At dinner, we asked for desert however the menu was never brought back to us and therefore when we asked for it we were told the kitchen was closed, they did give us a few pieces of cake that were left over to try and compensate this! Also, I asked what cocktails were available for the waiter to go to the bar to find out and come back 10 minutes later to be told “the barman is too busy to make cocktails” I’m not sure if staffing is a problem but the service was slow.

Excellent welcome. Excellent communication. Excellent selection of food, especially fruit at breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely indoor swimming pool.

I found the bed and pillows firmer than I'm used to. Shower area was a bit cramped because shower door opened outwards and door to shower room opened inwards. The switch for the mirror light was on top of the light fitting (not on the wall like the bed lights) just out of my reach. Sometimes car park difficult to access due to inconsiderate parking by some guests.
