Outstanding Hotel in every respect and can highly recommend. We had a large Seaview room and although the road outside is extremely busy and noisy it did not blight our stay in Jersey. It's a lovely island and we would love to come back some day. The facilities and the hotel were amazing and we took advantage of the pool and steam room. Breakfast was plentiful and outstanding, the waiting staff professional, efficient and friendly, a credit to the Hotel.

Lack of a blind for at the bathroom window (room 211) ! we thought this was a bit strange and should be addressed. On our last day when picking up our suitcases the hotel had kindly stored for us, we found that some staff all but ignored greeting us. Only the Reception ladies showed their continued first class professionalism in bidding us a safe journey on check out with smiles and conversation. Would recommend that all staff should be aware that the 'goodbye' is as important as the 'welcome' particularly in a 5* hotel. Last impressions do count and in our opinion are important and should not be overlooked.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner by Paul (concierge) who checked us in, took control of our luggage and accompanied us to our rooms. We had asked for rooms to be close together but they allocated a room on the ground floor for our daughter (my husband and I were on the second floor). We spoke to reception who explained that she had been upgraded to a larger room with a park view, and the alternative room would be smaller with no view, and suggested we had a look at the larger room first. Paul took us to view this and it was indeed a beautiful room which my daughter happily accepted. Paul gave us all the information about the hotel and area that we needed and was very helpful. As mentioned by everybody, the breakfast was second to none, with everything that you could possibly wish for. The service at breakfast also was outstanding. We enjoyed dinner in the Champagne Lounge on our first evening which was excellent with first class service. The rooms were very well appointed and toiletries and water were replenished every day.

We were disappointed that the Terrace Bar wasn't open to hotel residents every evening, and for some evenings it was only partially open to residents. This was due to private events taking place. On the evenings the bar was partially open, the area was very noisy and not conducive to a relaxing drink. We had drinks in the Champagne Lounge instead which was enjoyable, but we would have liked to have made use of the Terrace Bar more often particularly as the weather was so glorious.

All staff from managers to room attendants were efficient, professional and very approachable. Breakfasts had a wonderful selection of food available whether opting to serve yourself or choosing from the cooked to order menu. Again staff were wonderfully attentive and efficient The room was very comfortable, kept spotless and the shower , once I mastered the controls was powerful enough to keep anyone happy. The cookies that came with Tea or Coffee deserve a mention on their own. Delicious. The flavoured water and fresh fruit which was always available in reception was a lovely touch too.

The menu on the terrace could maybe have a wider variety on offer, maybe taking advantage of the plentiful seafood on Jersey, but that's really a very minor gripe

Comfortable air conditioned room, frequently replenished tea, coffee and chilled water, excellent housekeeping staff. Nice little touches in the room, like good toiletries, sewing set, manicure set robes and slippers for the spa etc. Really good selection of food at breakfast. We were out all day so didn't eat there the rest of the time. Staff were all unfailingly helpful. Good location opposite the beach, and an easy walk to town or harbour. Spa and 3ft 6 ins deep exercise pool, with children allowed in the latter for several hours a day. Limited parking so we used a very reasonable PaytoPark multistorey car park round the corner. We always got a space there, although once ended up at floor 10. One slight inconvenience at the hotel was that only one of the two small lifts was in operation, meaning that we had quite a wait to take our cases down when we checked out because people were coming up from breakfast then. Staff needed to use that lift for transporting room service trolleys and loaded bedding trolleys too, and one trolley, wheelchair or big suitcase would fill the lift with just 2 people.

Breakfast choice amazing. Staff attentive, attractive bar area to sit and relax. Good choice of drinks including non alcoholic.

The room we were given was noisy from extractor fans with a small window that looked at a roof which we didn’t find fitting with the room we had paid for. We were moved the following day once a room was available that was far more suited to us both. Only 1 lift working in the whole hotel but I believe they are having some new ones fitted.

There are lots of positive things to say about this hotel! For me the stand out thing through was the kindness, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (I'm sorry not to remember everyone's names, but huge thanks to the lovely Ronojoy and Charlotte, the restaurant, bar and breakfast staff). I was with my elderly parents both of whom have a disability and the staff really went above and beyond to help and be kind, I am more grateful than I can say. The staff were truly outstanding and it made our holiday. Other big positives were: the convenience of the bar restaurant, and the food was really excellent both there and at breakfast, everything was delicious and there was a great range of options; our rooms all had wonderful sea views of the bay and Elizabeth castle; my parents used the spa and loved it; rooms had lots of storage space, nice toiletries in the bathrooms and comfy beds.

The USB ports by the bed didn't work unless the lights were on which was odd and if I were the hotel/chain I would consider having a more flexible late check out policy when the hotel isn't too busy. But honestly, tiny things, this hotel was great!!!

I love everything about this hotel, I've stayed here a few times before. The hotel had booked me into a first floor room with a balcony and a sofa. It was a lovely room, but I asked if I could be one floor higher up (I prefer the view of the sea from a higher position). No balconies on the second floor, so I think they had assumed I'd be happier on the first floor with that addition. It was absolutely no problem for me to switch rooms and they kindly showed me the alternative room and then arranged for my luggage to be brought up. Nothing is ever too much trouble at this hotel. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. I always love that they provide a carton of fresh milk in the fridge... the tea is so much nicer that way!

I liked everything.

On arrival, we were greeted with a very warm welcome. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant. Checking in was very easy, and the young man gave us some insights into the area and things we might be interested in locally. Another gentleman, Alvis, then took our bags up to our suite, telling us a little bit about the hotel on our way. We stayed in the Corbiere Suite , spacious , exceptionally clean, and well-appointed large lounge and ding area with sea views. A separate toilette , meaning if in the lounge you didn't have to go through the bedroom to your main bathroom. Other nice touches, such as a handwritten card welcoming us to the hotel. Chocolates, fruit bowl, etc. Our stay included breakfast, which was also very nice. we opted for room service and breakfast arrived on time , hot and presented nicely. Delivered on both mornings by a very smilie and friendly young lady. We also enjoyed a lovely Sea Bass lunch in the sun terrace bar at the front of the hotel, a lovely atmosphere, and the Sun was shining, which obviously adds to the experience. Honestly, I can not fault our stay or the staff . Not that we needed anything , but if we had, I don't think anything would of been too much trouble. Lovely Lovely Stay . Many Thanks

The staff team are what makes a hotel and the staff here are super friendly, helpful and professional. They are really attentive and keep the place clean and tidy. The hotel has a professional chilled vibe and the breakfast was good and provided good range, especially happy wi the gluten and diary free pastry selection !! The bedroom we booked was on the sea front and was super cosy with lovely bedding and great quality towels. Very happy that you can open windows also.

The issue I didn't like and off course can't be changed is the fact that a dual carriageway runs outside the hotel. Traffic does stop late in the evening but it is noisy if you wish to open windows at night.

Room was excellent for the view and clean fantastic. Breakfast had a vast selection, catered for every need. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and immaculately dressed in uniform. Hotel cleanliness excellent, well done and praise for cleaning team. Location excellent. Hotel rated 5 stars, should rate 10 plus stars.

Unable to answer this question as everything was perfect, however as i have to answer, there could be a lift to pool area as its only accessible by stairs, but this is stated in brief when booked so i was aware.
