The Longueville Manor is a fantastic luxury hotel. Most outstanding is the staff - everybody was extraordinarily professional on a high-end level, yet warm and welcoming. The food is excellent (we had the Chef's choice degustation menu for dinner an can highly recommend it), and so are the drinks, so both the restaurant and the bar are worth a visit. Our room was very cosy and well equipped.

The hotel is located outside the city center. If you, like us, do not have a car, you can reach the city within 25 mins walking, or by bus no. 2, which does not go regularly though. I assume the usual hotel guests do not mind, but for us a shuttle service or rental bikes would have been useful.

The marvelous charme of a Relais&Chateaux Hotel with 75 years of ownership in the same family was visible and well experienced at all times during our magnificent stay. The hospitality of owners and employees regardless of rank or position, be it cleaning staff, reception, bar tenders, or restaurant staff was outstanding and a class of its own. Everyone read our wishes from our lips, at times even our thoughts. Breakfast was abundant, the wine cellar unbelievably well equipped, dining was a very fine Michelin star equivalent experience. The room was spacious and warm and made us feel at home at all times.

I would not know of anything to name here.

It is a beautiful place to stay and the staff are first class. Very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. Our garden room with a spacious en suite bathroom couldn’t be faulted.

Breakfast was an extra charge and £37.50 each. We stay in lovely hotels fairly regularly, some of them in the same group as Longueville Manor, but that price for breakfast is ridiculous. We had a fantastic brunch in various cafes and restaurants all over the island every day for half of the price, mostly with wonderful views as well.

An exceptional hotel, very comfortable with amazing staff. We were made to feel valued guests and nothing was too much trouble. I would book this hotel again without any hesitation, and would recommend it to friends. The excellent breakfast had waitress service which was far preferable to buffet style, and much more relaxing. Dinner at the hotel was superb too. The heated pool had plenty of loungers and a member of staff regularly checked to see if we needed any drinks etc. The 5 star rating is well deserved.

Everything was perfect, no negatives whatsoever.

Staff were excellent as was the breakfast and choice of breakfast offered. We did not have dinner. Our room was upgraded and extremely comfortable and clean with added extras such as fruit, wine and biscuits

Only slight criticism and I mean slight, was that the walls were quite thin and we could hear people above. I think this would be very hard to remedy as the hotel is a beautiful old building and not everything will be perfect.

We love Longueville Manor - all the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you! They made us feel so special. The cocktails by Diago are exceptional and we could have sat all night trying them all, but we had to go for dinner. The only negative was the bed - it was very uncomfortable and we didn’t sleep very well at all which is such a shame waking up tired. We will be back again soon! Thank you for having us.

A lovely room with outside space. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Good breakfast & excellent restaurant. Well placed location.

The evening meal is expensive though the prices in Jersey are inevitably higher than the mainland. The hotel is a mile out of St Helier; we hired a car which gave us flexibility.

From our arrival, where we were "meeted and greeted", to our departure the service offered by this hotel was exceptional. The staff were clearly highly trained in attending to the needs of their guests. The setting of the hotel and its grounds are beautiful, and the food, be it breakfast, lunch, poolside snack or evening meal was exceptional both in quality and choice. This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I intend returning as soon as possible.

in truth not a lot! When a hotel is this good things have been "ironed out" over the years that the hotel has developed this level of service-something this good doesn't just happen overnight. On very hot days some guests night miss the presence of air conditioning. It didn't bother us but I mention it by way of completeness.

Grounds and the kitchen garden were lovely, pool area also looked great but weather was not conducive for our stay. Instead spent more time in the bar area and the other separate nooks and crannies of the hotel which were lovely as well (though latter difficult to get into on a rainy day as afternoon tea dwellers took the space). Staff friendly and rooms were pleasant enough with welcome drink on arrival which was a nice touch.

Rooms were a little dated for quality of the hotel and bathroom quality was ok but not of other standard hotels - whilst not necessary we were surprised by the lack of aircon. The cooked breakfast elements were poorly executed, eggs overcooked whether poached, boiled or scrambled and sent back by other tables as well. Dinner in the restaurant was ok but clear captive audience and prices to match!

Actually I booked for my Grandson and Wife to stay the night, I had the lunch, it was all excellent, and thoroughlt enjoyed, I would certainly book again, I have been many times, but not so much recently because of ill health,. It made my day
