The staff were welcoming and exceptionally helpful. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of St. Helier. As a solo traveller, I felt safe. I only took a short break but benefited from the trip greatly. I also loved taking the bus. It was pretty straightforward once I figured it out! All in all, a lovely place to relax.

The room could do with a stool for a suitcase. Also, TV reception was very poor - it's just nice to have the option to watch TV before bed or when you return to your room after being out.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent.

Being critical is very subjective, overall our stay was very enjoyable

Quietness of area and walking distance of beach & Gorey great. Bus stop outside Hotel is just perfect as is the Jersey Bus Service. The Hotel is enchanting especially the gardens and pool AND plenty of FREE parking in the on site car park. Staff here are very smiley, helpful & happy which makes such a difference. Breakfast plentiful with many choices and unlimited quality coffee and tea. Overall this was a short break, we will be back in September and it certainly will become our go to place for our short break stays & perhaps longer.

Leaving to go home, wish we were staying longer.

Everything was good but I think the shower fittings could be better as they are old and difficult to turn if you are older. The meals were excellent and very satisfying, and of a high standard. All the staff were excellent and deserve a particular mention, nothing was to much trouble.

There was a problem with the swimming pool so for 5 days it was out of bounds, do to a water quality issue. This was very disappointing as we booked this because it had the pool. It was all sorted before we left though.

The hotel and staff were lovely, we stayed out of season so couldn't make use of the facilities. The room was a bit stuffy because of condensation, again I think an out of season issue. Breakfast was good, good variety and again really lovely staff. The stages friendliness made the stay.

Just my company haha. Only joking. Would be better to stay during summer so that the pool and tennis court can be used. Great location for any season, good walks from the hotel. No water in room and we don't drink tap water where we are from, so wasn't comfortable doing so here. Would be good to have a complimentary bottle of water within the room also.

Staff went above and beyond to make our trip memorable - from receptionists, bar and dining staff to cleaners. They were so helpful and friendly! It was great to have the pool and garden area during a hot stay. Breakfast was tasty and had a range of options. The one dinner we ate in was also delicious. The location was perfect for travelling into Gorey or St Helier and was quiet and peaceful.

Since it was so hot, fans in all rooms would have been appreciated. Not all rooms had curtains, which would also have helped keep out the heat and aid sleep. A small fridge in the rooms would also be great!

Breakfast was varied, both full English and continental. Lots to choose from and pastries were yummy. Not too far from Gorey harbour and the castle, beautiful. A short 5 mins walk to the nearest bus stop where you can hop on a bus either way, they run every 10mins. Best to get a bus pass from bus station in St helier. They come in 1,2,3 or 7 day passes, (unlimited travel). Jersey reminds me of England 30 years ago, tranquil,everyone is really friendly. Food is great and pace of life is more relaxed. Definitely coming back for another visit.

A lovely hotel in a good location. Room was clean and functional, staff were Friendly. Excellent breakfast with a good selection regularly replenished. Nice bar and pool area next to the car park. But stop opposite or 5 minute walk. A pub serving good food a 5 min walk if you don't want to eat in the hotel (The Pembroke) we also ate in the Seymour further down the road which was nice. Beach and Gorey not far to walk.

Minor things, but could've done with more sockets in our triple room (had to unplug TV to use kettle or charge phone), and bath towels were not big enough. Some road noise if you're a light sleeper like me bring ear plugs.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The beds are really comfortable and rooms clean. The food served at breakfast is high quality. We decided to dine in one evening and the steak was so good we stayed in for dinner another evening too which is rare for us when we're on holiday!

The only down side was the pool was colder than we expected so the kids didn't spend as much time swimming as we had expected.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with comfortable bed.

We had to leave earlier than the set breakfast times but there was no provision for this. Many visitors over the years would have been in the same position. Front of house told me 'they were working on this' - how much longer will there be no simple packed breakfast to send you on your way? Toilet in our twin room needed adjusting every day so that it would flush. Cistern wouldn't fill without bring 'poked '
