The staff has to be first talked about as everyone is very welcoming and even when busy, take the time to talk to you and ensure that everything is going well. Very quick response to any request or service. Sea view room was great. Amazing view, great bathroom, very comfortable bed. Breakfast has plenty to choose from, even for vegetarians. We only had one diner at the hotel's restaurant and it was to the mark. I would definitely come again to the hotel for another visit in Jersey. The bus stop is just a few steps away to go to town and a short ride. Thank you so much for making our stay as pleasant as we could have hoped for.

It is a property over a hundred years old so that being said it has to be considered that there are steps and narrow lift but the hotel has been well maintained and all the areas have been well designed.

I had a 2 night stay in this lovely hotel. It's in a brilliant location right across the road from the beach with beautiful views. Sitting in the hotel drinking coffee in the morning looking at the sea is just so peaceful. The buffet breakfast was fabulous with a large variety. I had a single room and although it was small, it was clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. The shower was ace! The staff here are really friendly. There are lifts if you are on an upper floor if you prefer to use it rather than walk. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment I met Ronnie on reception he took my suitcases upstairs .Lilian became such a joy after my day out and was truly interested in my stay being happy .Simon left my room immaculate and folded my nightie onto of my pillow I felt so much like their family .the food was beautiful and lavish especially Friday night seafood banquet .I managed yo catch buses to gorey and st helier . Honestly I loved everything

Very friendly, charming,discreet and helpful staff. The rooms were spotless and it was quiet with no noise coming through from the corridors. Fantastic location, opposite the lido and with great views of the bay. Easily accessible by bus to the centre of St Helier and other attractions in Jersey.

Only one tiny thing. The coffee machines used in the breakfast hall were the only weak point in the well organised and well presented breakfast in the dining room. This was despite the hotel calling out an engineer. As I said a minor thing and as frustrating for the staff in the dining room during the busy breakfast rush as for people wanting coffee.

Excellent selection at breakfast and hot food is replenished frequently. Two efficient coffee machines with a lot of choices. Very good evening meals, especially the Friday night buffet. The hotel has very good views and is close to bus stops. All staff are very helpful and friendly. The small swimming pool is good and there is a very big lido across the road.

My single room was quite small, so there was no space for a comfy chair. But easy chairs in coffee lounge and bar area with sea views.

Great location with a very comfortable room.

Staff were a bit "off" at check in, felt like I was a bit of an inconvenience. Used the bar one evening and the chap behind the bar was very flustered and almost confused by requests for drinks. Another evening we asked for information on the local buses and were misinformed, luckily other customers were able to advise "Heated" pool was freezing and much smaller than expected for the size of hotel. We were happy to use the lido pool opposite the hotel instead.

There's nothing not to like at the Ommaroo. The staff are exceptional. Cannot do enough for you. We were upgraded to a room with a sea view and a balcony. In total we stayed in three rooms in the hotel as we originally booked a double and the next morning we were upgraded as a sea view was available. The beds were really comfortable. There is a great selection for breakfast. The hotel is immaculate and literally a stone's throw to the Lido. There are bus stops right outside the hotel that runs directly to Saint Helier.

Great position just 10 minutes walk from St Helier. Chose this hotel for its position, which overlooks the Lido, so if you have a room at the front of the hotel, this is your view. We had a room at the rear overlooking the pool, as no balcony rooms were available. Breakfast is very good, with good choices, and the cooked breakfast items were replenished regularly. Lovely lounge area for a drink in the evening too. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.

Everything was very good

Location was great for beach and swimming while also not being far from main town - bus service runs from right outside hotel which made it easy to get about. Breakfast was lovely and staff all friendly. We will absolutely be back again and stay at this hotel.

For what we paid everything was as expected i.e small pool good for kids but sea is across the road so nothing to criticise. Only thing that could of been handy was a small fridge in room and we had to borrow the iron from the hotel for a linen shirt and it was arguably the worst iron iv ever used 🤣 but not really that big an issue!

The location is excellent. Near to the beach and buses to town within walking distance. Other eating places nearby. The room had a comfy bed, plenty of storage and great sea view. Bathroom small but adequate. It is on a busy road which may bother some people. Breakfast had a good choice, well cooked. The continental was a little sparse and some items, such as the preserves and fruit option, could have been of a better quality. Restaurant food good with varied choice. Sandwiches also available at the bar. Perhaps think about USB sockets. No problem with wi-fi.

There was no full length mirror in the room and the only mirror on the wall was very small and positioned wrongly. Not very female friendly. Nowhere to put shower gels or hair products in the shower…had to put them on the floor. I realise the weather was extreme but air-con is needed if only in the bars and restaurants. Saying that the room kept cool with a fan.
