Staff very helpful, food was excellent - plenty of choice.

Difficulty in shutting window - but it was sorted. We had asked when receiving confirmation of hotel and replied asking for a shower rather than a shower over the bath but it appeared not to have been received. This wasn't clear in the email about not replying to the email. We then asked at reception to move to a room with a shower but the message did not appear to get through to the manager - and we had to ask if there was a room rather than be informed that there wasn't one available. We thought that at the least we would be advised of the outcome of our request. Staff on reception were very helpful.

The breakfast was very good, as well as the couple of evening meals we had in the restaurant. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The pools were great.

Being an older hotel there was no air conditioning and the room was extremely hot. A fan was provided which we had to have on all night. The bathroom in our family room was very small, the door only opened part of the way. It was also very noisy with creaky floorboards when the guests in the room above moved around.

It was exactly as I expected. 3 star… never going to be luxury but that’s not what it was sold as. For a few days away with the family it was perfect

The price of breakfast. £17 per person including the children. Nearly £70 for a buffet breakfast and machine coffee. Needless to say we didn’t bother and chose a local cafe doing freshly prepared home cooked food at a much lower price

Staff were very thoughtful and well organised eg with provision for gluten-free diet. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools.Great range and quality of food in restaurant. Good weekly quiz night.

Perhaps a little more lounge space.

We have stayed in this hotel every time we go to Jersey. We always have the same room. Very difficult to find anything that we did not like. Good location, enormous breakfast, lovely room (we always ask for the same room). Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Full marks.

When we arrived 15 mins before breakfast finished a waiter who was showing us to a table looked at his watch, very unprofessional About 1 mile walk to town which is fine, but if you are going back and forward it can be quite tiring. Bus services to the hotel stops quite early. We arrived at the airport, bus to bus station. (about 6pm). No buses available which pass the hotel so had to walk with cases. Taxis are expensive!!

We liked the greeting on arrival the friendly staff the pools and a lovely breakfast. The restaurant for evening meals is a very high standard

Staff were very warm and welcoming. Laid back feel, large comfy room, lovely shower/bath.

Limited food options due to delivery problems but this did not make too much difference to our trips. The location of the hotel is good but still a fair walk into the main area of st. Helier. Bud service can be accessed from outside the hotel but we ended up walking most of the time.

The staff members were very welcoming and friendly. They were keen to help and ensure we were happy with our stay. The lounge and bar area was inviting and comfortable.

The ventilation in our room, with the west facing windows, was poor, and it became too hot snd stuffy in the late afternoon and evening.

We stayed BnB and really can’t fault the breakfasts at the hotel. Good length of time the restaurant was open so no need to rush to get down. Staff (especially Charity) were really attentive and efficient from taking your order to clearing your plates. Nothing was too much trouble. All staff really pleasant and willing to chat and pass the time of day. Bar staff (Victor) worked hard and got to know what you wanted when you walked in. Room was spacious, clean and maintained every morning without fail. Domestic staff again were pleasant, respectful and willing to wait if you was still in the room. Room could do with a little toe makeover to brighten and freshen up, but other than that, can’t fault it. Beds were comfy and the addition of a fan was a bonus.

Little round tables for two could have done with being a little bigger, but not a problem once you moved stuff around.
