As someone that travels a lot and worked in hospitality and customer service for 35 years, I like to think I have an idea of what to expect from my stay. This hotel is in a a great location with lots of parking at the rear. Our room was Very spacious, as was the bathroom. Clean and very comfortable. It provided a Good breakfast. We Didn't eat dinner there because of our dog, but the menu looked tasty and of good value. It had a Nice pool area. The Staff really lovely. Polite, professional and fun. Big shout out and thanks to Laura, our breakfast waitress. An absolute ray of sunshine. Beach opposite just beautiful and lovely for walking our dog.

Coffee making facilities could be better. Only caffeine coffee sachets and regular tea. No decaff coffee, herbal teas or biscuits provided. Or alternative milk. Also, no water in rooms. Our room overlooked the pool area. It had big curtains and a blind but if you want natural light whilst getting changed, we were completely visible to the rooms opposite (this I realised when I got full view (from her waist up)of a naked person opposite!!). Maybe put some nets up. Also a shelf above the sink would be beneficial. Finally, it is pet friendly in the sense that dogs can stay only. They are not allowed in the bar etc. This aside, I happily recommend this hotel and have already done so to many. We will use it again and had a wonderful stay in beautiful Jersey.

Good location with two bus stops within a minute or so walk. Staff extremely helpful and friendly - they were awesome. Good size room and bathroom. Very clean with daily room cleaning. Pool a lovely added extra. Breakfast was fab! Glorious beach directly across the road from the hotel with stunning views.

The property is dated but the team have done the best they can by updating soft furnishings etc. There is a busy road directly outside but road noise wasn’t a problem. No air conditioning so the room did get very hot, but provided with a good strong fan and the housekeeping staff ensured curtains stayed closed during the hottest part of the day.

I liked the fact it was clean and comfortable . Staff were brilliant. The lovely view of the beach. . Good walk into St. Hellier . Buddy my dog felt at home . Access is brilliant for the rest of the island. Very close to the ferry port .Swimming pool was lovely

I didn't like the fact I was not allowed to choose where I sat at breakfast. . It appeared if you were in a couple you were able to choose where you sat. I didn't like having to sit with my back against a wall underneath a television that you barely could hear. This low level noise is irritating. .. I did observe if you were single this is where you seemed to be placed. Welcome to the world of being single I did ask to sit else where but the reply was oh they are friends at those tables. .They hadn't even got up .

I recently stayed at Hotel Ambassadeur in Jersey and had an absolutely wonderful experience. My room offered a breathtaking sea view with the beach right outside—truly gorgeous and incredibly relaxing to wake up to each morning The staff were exceptional throughout my stay—welcoming, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble, and their helpful attitude really made a difference. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the combination of location, views, and service made it a perfect getaway. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Jersey and hope to return soon!

Excellent location. Rooms super comfy and free parking which is a major bonus on the island.

No Air Con. .

Five of us had booked single rooms and one had booked a double room for single use. The single room sizes did vary but we didn't spend much time in our rooms anyway. The Reception staff were exceptionally helpful and the restaurant staff were also brilliant. The breakfasts were excellent and we had several evening meals at the hotel which were good value for money and very tasty. It was great to have a bus stop in to town so close by and also an M&S Simply Food. All in all we had a really lovely stay at Hotel Ambassadeur. Ana, Megan and Veronica on Reception were so helpful and Helen, our waitress, was superb!

We knew it was a dog friendly hotel, but one of our party doesn't like dogs and felt there were too many. We were confused by the fact that we thought there weren't any pool towels available, but in fact there were.

We had a spacious comfortable room overlooking the beautiful beach so the views were stunning and ever changing. Buffet breakfast was good and the dinner menu varied and very good value for money

Loud music coming from private functions on 2 of the 4 nights I was there made sleeping difficult. Request a room well away from the function room would be my advice. Rather strange/annoying system for seating in the restaurant especially at breakfast when you expect to be able to sit where you choose. Tables being "held" by the Maitre D for people who "are here for a few days" is bizarre.

The hotel & the staff were very attentive & the cleanliness was great The hotel is situated on a bus route & is also opposite a lovely beach The breakfast was great, a good choice of food

Whilst my room was very comfortable it was alongside the swimming pool, which meant I had to keep the blind down for privacy & if anyone was using the pool it could become noisy & intrusive The dinner menu was somewhat limited & a little heavy for me, I feel that choice of a lighter menu option might be popular

Lovely friendly staff, ideal location.

Although the hotel accepts dogs they are not allowed into the bar or dining area and apart from the room they are only allowed in the reception area or tiled entrance area. To enable us to have breakfast we ended up putting our dog back into our car rather than leaving him in the room. In order to make the hotel “dog friendly” some thought may need to be given in providing a more comfortable and social seating area where dogs are permitted.

We had a sea view with balcony and the bed was comfortable , beautifully clean good size room & bathroom. Cleaned every day. the location was super to get in to St Helier or to walk to Gorey . Breakfast cooked to order, and the kippers and poached eggs were superb. Good bar service and the reception helped us find some "athletic facility close by. The outdoor pool was cool, but it was protected from the wind and the sun loungers were very comfy.

The Bathroom was a little dated, ( avocado suite) and shower could have been more powerful. Hairdryer cut out several times, after short use. The room needed additional sockets to charge phones, etc. Great coffee was available at the bar, breakfast coffee wasn't the best .
