Fabulous location on Gorey pier under the castle. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We arrived earlier than expected and were allowed access to the room so could leave cases and go off to explore. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious and big portions! Portuguese dishes were excellent. My husband had skate from the specials menu, which he enjoyed very much. The breakfast was also excellent, also big portions! Hubby had porridge followed by the small breakfast - Cumberland sausage particularly tasty! I had a bowl of refreshing fruit salad and a mountain of scrambled eggs and toast. Set us up for the day! The room we had (room 5), was huge and on 2 levels - bathroom and bedroom. Faced onto the roof away from the sea but the extra space was lovely. Bed very comfortable. Room a little warm even with the window open but it was the end of a heatwave! Shower very good.

I was slightly disappointed that the only toiletries in the bathroom were a soap dispenser in the shower. We had stayed elsewhere for a few days in self catering accommodation so had our own with us, so not an issue using my own shampoo and conditioner.

super location and neat reception by staff. Spacious appartmet however toilet and bathroom only accessable through main bedtoom.

Water pressure hot water very, very low. Owner informed us that reairs r on the way this week. Spacious and clean appartment with top view and location however the built was of neat but cheap quality. Super balcony but floor tiles are loose and cracking. Restaurant was of meagre quality but prices were top!!!! We had a great stay. Jersey is though expensive a super place to be.

Large, clean, recently decorated apartment, very spacious and airy. Staff were very friendly / helpful. Apartment has a commanding view of the harbour and a spacious balcony. extremely convenient location with parking.

Apartment is at top of 4 flights of stairs with no elevator, fine for us but perhaps not for less mobile guests. Hot water pressure in the kitchen is very low, we boiled water for the sink using the kettle. Shower pressure is very low. One or two kitchen minor utensils absent e.g. drainer, grater, metal tools for use with pans and hot oil.

Great location in beautiful Gorey, clean and comfortable room overlooking the harbour with the sound of the sea at night. Great choice of breakfast items and top quality. Staff all really friendly from start to finish. I would highly recommend staying here and it’s a great base to explore the East coast. I took a trip with Jersey Seafaris from St Catherine and Jersey walk adventures to Seymour Tower. Both within easy reach of Seascale plus a good selection of eateries, beaches & sights.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff welcoming. Such good value for the location and nice to have a view over the water and hear the sound of the waves at night. Live music on Friday and Saturday night from the adjacent property was all good fun and not intrusive to my stay. Just a good crowd of people enjoying themselves. I only found out late in there is a good Thai cafe at the end of Gorey pier which I recommend

Location opposite bus stop/harbour & Castle above was fantastic. Room on the front with amazing view of Harbour. Great high ceilings & a great feel about the room. You definitely knew you was at the seaside with the pictures on the walls. The castle was very impressive, climbed to the top, amazing views & would highly recommend it. Seating area outside looks inviting & especially in the evening sunshine. Stayed 3 nights & really enjoyed my stay thank you. Didn't hav the breakfast only because i'm always up at 5am & caught the early bus to explore St Helier & also one day I had the early ferry to Guernsey to catch. Great value for money stay at this hotel thank you

Just the draws by side of the bed need moving so that I could open them & also use the electric sockets hiding behind them. Wasn't a major issue the room was great value for money thank you

We liked the exccellent location on the harbour front and the bedroom had a sea view. The restaurant/breakfast room was very comfortable with views out to the harbour. The breakfast was excellent as were the meals we had at the restaurant.

Some redecoration is necessary in the bedroom (windows & blinds in particular) but otherwise it was very comfortable. There is no central heating but free standing electrical radiators are provided. The hotel was 'closed' on the Tuesday which meant no breakfast was available on that day ( I am sure I was not informed of this at the point of booking). We were offered a packed lunch instead which worked well as we were on a walking break but the packed lunch did not match the standard of the other catering at the hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. If you love a full English, you will be more than satisfied. I also tried the vegetarian option one morning which was not bad either. The hotel is in a great location, near shops, across the road from the bus stop and nice sights in walking distance. The staff is friendly, it is quiet at night and has a great view from the window.

My room was clean when I arrived. However I spent 3 nights there. It would have been nice, if at some point the rubbish bin, was emptied and perhaps my room vacuumed etc. I'm still scoring it a 10 though, as I thought it was good value for money and enjoyed my stay.

Large room, apparently recently renovated. The prize for the sea view is definitely worth it, otherwise you'll probably just look at the foot of the castle hill. Bus stop with good service to St. Helier right next door.

Staff service seemed to be in over their head even when the restaurant wasn't busy and communication in english was rough at times, But the hotel itself was really nice.

Almost everything . The food was excellent . The breakfasts well exceeded expectations . Tony the owner couldn’t have been more helpful and his staff without exception were lovely too. Would recommend staying here over and above a lot of more fancy joints we have stayed in .

We found the shower difficult to operate to get a really pleasant shower .
