We liked the very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was a problem for them. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was good. Excellent location in Queenstown. We also appreciated the valet parking although you do pay NZ$30 per day for this.

We were not satisfied with mountsin view room 407. It was over the hotel canopy at the front and right opposite the main road and shops. Although we could see the mountains, we did think that the view was not described well on the website and we were disappointed. The reception staff were very accommodating and helpful and ended giving us two alternative options, one of which was a complimentary upgrade. There was no fuss and they dealt with everything efficiently.

Suppose to be a 5 stars hotel. Look at the view！！I've check in on 28th Dec 2022. The Lake view King size room is $770 and exactly the same as advertisement. So worthy！！1 mins to CBD 2 mins to lakeside. The lady at front desk is so friendly and always trying to help even at this busy Christmas period. But i am so-so sorry about forgetting to ask her name. There is another lady called Lilly at the bar. I asked her to warm up my take away foods at 10.30pm. She put them in a beautiful white plate，warmed them and covered them with stainless steel cover. That's just sosososo sweet. Crowne is 100% recommended！

We really enjoyed the location of the property, was walking distance to the heart of Queenstown. The views are amazing. Staff are absolutely wonderful and helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday . The kindness of the staff with a complimentary wine , chocolates, laundry vouchers, fruit platter , photo book. I couldn’t have asked for a more memorable 40th birthday holiday! The staff even sang happy birthday to me and gave me a muffin! Breakfast was Devine! Thank you so much ☺️ Ohh and my children absolutely loved the free hot chocolate and playing chess in the lobby. The Crowne Plaza is in a great location and it is very easy to walk to restaurants and shops, the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but comfortable and we loved having access to movies.

The only thing was that we hired a car and parked at the hotel and we were not told until check out that there was a $30 a night fee. I would like to be told that on booking a room or at least at check in, not check out.

The location of the hotel and orientation of room was really good. We could enjoy the view & sunshine (when it was out) every morning. The restaurant and bar staff was super friendly. We did not have to deal much with reception staff much but they were friendly too.

The parking was bit expensive. There's really no need of valet parking. It would be better to have either free or cheap parking for customers.

The mountain view was amazing and worth the extra spend to us. The location is extremely convenient, right in the middle of town with restaurants and tour meeting points very nearby. The beds were really comfy and the staff were really kind and lovely. We opted for breakfast included which made it really easy and convenient to get out the door for an early morning tour or hike.

We would have loved it if the lobby were a tad more grand. For such a nice hotel, the lobby didn't feel like it matched the niceness of the rest of the hotel.

The property was great as was the location. But what made your property the best was one gal at the front desk and the bellman. Both were outstanding customer service people. I wish I could remember the names but the gal was newer and was from Peru. The bellman was also one of the best in the business and if I were building a hotel they would be the first two I would hire!! Terry and Wendy Conroy

We enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza very much. The room was spacious, very clean, quiet and had a balcony. View of the mountains was great. Excellent location, across the road from the lakefront. Used the valet parking which I would recommend since the parking on the road in front of the hotel may be limited. The breakfast was very good with many options provided. The staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, easy level walk to everywhere in town and great starting point for day trips. Valet parking option was handy, though option to self park also. Room was spacious with lovely view over the town and lake and beds were super comfortable. Fabulous, buffet breakfast option offered variety of hot and cold dishes and is highly recommended. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice during our stay of 8 nights as there was a 2 course special deal on and the food was delicious and service was exceptional. Helpful concierge service available for ease of booking day trips with hotel pick up/drop off. Highly recommended!

Great selection in buffet breakfast, and deals for dinner. "Kids eat free" was perfect for our grazers. Family room was adequate, probably bigger than most. Good location, close to the wharf and shopping. Friendly staff in the restaurant and at reception.

Parking was expensive (and we couldn't find anything on the streets nearby). Overall, hotel room was expensive...but probably on par with most queenstown accom in similar positions.
