This place is unbelievable! It’s like a 5 star. The staff are really lovely and the room is beautiful. The bed was better than what I have had at the Sofitel. It was so comfortable

The only thing I didn’t like and it was our fault really was that we left my husband’s insulin in the fridge. On realising we called the he hotel and the cleaners had thrown it away. I think it pays to check before throwing as mistakes such as leaving stuff behind do happen. Medication especially insulin is a life saver!

From the gates to my room, I was thoroughly impressed with how secure, clean & well presented everything was. The minimalism inside my studio was even better, everything you need at your fingertips. Customer service was top-notch 👌super welcoming & friendly. Knowing someone was up at the front desk to help in any way was absolute bliss.

TV in my studio was positioned in a place that made it awkward for us to watch, would've been excellent if it had a swivel but nonetheless still an amazing place for the price 😊

Rooms are nice and clean, location is also great.

The laundry facilities although signs everywhere say complimentary the receptionist still advised i needed to pay. A tad confusing. Laundry room needs attention though as it was a mess. The beds although comfy have rolling wheels. Any movement pushes the bed away from the wall meaning pillows all end up on the ground. The gate at the front although secure is sometimes a hassle. Weather wasn't good and I had to get out in the rain often to swipe the card if the receptionist didn't open on their end. There is a EV charger on-site but you can't sign up to use it.

The room was a great size, complete with everything we needed. I appreciated that there was security checking the floors throughout the night as Avondale has some interesting characters and it is opposite a train stop.

The on-site dryer was $6 for a cycle and my clothing wasn't dry by the end of the cycle, I didn't have many items so the dryer facility isn't great. I ended up paying extra to go to a laundromat which had a larger dryer and cost a fraction of the price ($2) and dried my clothes completely. The only other thing that would have been helpful would have been a hand towel rail in the toilet (which was separate to the bathroom). Other than that, I enjoyed my stay, it had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy.

Always book here now when in Auckland. We drive up. So you can't beat the ease of this accomodation with a car. Its so close to our uni student kids in Mount albert. 7 minutes drive from roomie to their house. Close to pak n save supermarket. close to St Luke's shopping mall and kmart lol. St Luke's has everything we may need. Another mall was close to. Our kids can visit us here at roomie and the space is large enough for us to hang out , before going to dinner etc.

We had our 18 ur old daughter with us, i had to book her, her own room. As on the booking.com app there was no choice of 2 rooms left. Perhaps if I'd phoned roomie directly I could of worked something out, but she was happy in her own space in end. I have found travelling with adult kids tougher than with little kids. As we don't all want to share beds, or same rooms now. I do wish the toilet had an extraction fan. I dont like the little milks. We bring our own now. Easy to get from supermarket we drink a lot of coffee.

This apartment was clean and modern, the beds comfortable and we had everything we needed for a short stay. The reception staff we met were very friendly and very helpful. We were there for a show but also for a family catch up so this was a great choice.. The apartment was also conveniently placed for getting around the central Auckland area and easy access to the motorway network .. it is around a 25 minute drive from the airport by car( non rush hour if you know Auckland at all) so if you are coming off a flight not and dont want an airport hotel then this is a good option Train and buses into central Auckland were literally on the doorstep( or a 15 minute drive on the motorway) ,the parking is free and also secure (a bonus in Auckland) and its a very short walk to a selection of takeaway places. There is a shopping mall a short drive away .. not walking distance unfortunately..but that mall has all the essentials there including a movie theatre and some good restaurants.

Nothing - would be very happy to stay there again on our next visit to Auckland and will if available. Was great value for the money.

Car park is why we stay here most it's fantastic. It's so close to our kids in Mount albert. We can visit them but have own space, as they are just down the road. The rooms have everything we need and more. And so big!

The toilet has it's own hand basin as its separate to bathroom. Be great if you could hang a hand towel rail or towel ring to hang a hand towel in the toilet to wipe hands on after using that basin. We didn't have a dish brush. But did have cloth and sponge. Be good if a dish brush is available for coffee cups. These didn't affect our stay still really happy.

I appreciated the fact that I booked with no prepayment and was able to pay in cash on arrival. Staff are all very friendly. Property is very secure. As indicated, it is not in the CBD but an easy bus ride away. I bought the transport card at the international terminal, just opposite the one NZ shop (for sim cards), at the convenience store. It was approximately 15 dollars to get to the location. Well worth the extra distance. Plenty of space, modern kitchenette, nice bathroom and very comfortable bed. All the necessary utensils for a short stay. Restaurants close by and about a 20 minute walk to the supermarket, Pak n Save. So enjoyable, I have booked again.

I was a little concerned when I noticed the train tracks nearby but this did not disturb my sleep.

It is secure with good tidy rooms, the staff were amazing and super polite :) I come up often for uni, so I will def stay again :) I honestly would have to say one of the best places iv stayed at so far an I think il be a regular now :) an super close to the Avondale train stay.. 2min walk to trains, 5 min walk to subway :) what more could you need /:)

Honestly… I don’t like leaving my rubbish in the room for the ladies to clean up so I had trouble finding the rubbish bins outside :) other than that can’t fault it :)

Beautiful and clean, spacious, good parking. Felt safe. The cleaning ladies was lovely, so was other working staff. The people on front desk could do with being bit more friendlier and maybe smile, but overall they were cordial. Loved the courtyard, it’s was perfect for my pups.

That I had to walk up the hill from where I parked my car to the front door, with all my bags, two dogs etc. lots of trips needed and opening doors and going up and down the lift/stairs each time was exhausting. Would have been great to have access to other doors on the ground floor so didn’t need to keep on going to reception.
