- Room had plenty of space - Very quiet despite it’s busy location - 5-10 min walk to the best cocktail places and restaurants - 15-20 min walk to everything else you’d need, with trams running every 5 min or so - Staff was very helpful

- Everything was perfect, i didn’t have a single problem

One of the best hotels + comfortable stays of the few hotels ive stayed in across my trip. Following + points - was given a room upgrade. ( thank you!!). Room was spacious and the type where there is ample space to move around even after having a few big luggage - Hotel check in and reception was fast. counter Staff was friendly, welcoming and had given us good tips on what to do around the area - liked the location since we specifically chose this area which is further from the central train station. Leidseplein tram station is about a less than 5 min walk away from the hotel, that's very assessible to hop on and off to move around central. - A few convenience stores and a groceries store nearby which was definitely a plus point - good idea to have the initiative for exchanging " room clean up( if you dont need it)" for a drink. - The hotel also provides umbrella rental at the lobby. which is something that could be useful if it rains

- didnt try the breakfast so no comments there

Everything was great! Staff was very helpful. We arrived before check in time after a very long flight and man at reception was kind enough to check if room was available and we could check in. Room is spacious and has everything you need. Comfy bed, good wifi. Restaurant's food is great, either a snack at the bar at night or breakfast with plenty of choices. Close to the musem area and the city center. We will come back.

Nothin, all was good.

Hotel was well located for what we wanted to do. Amenities in the room were good. Good night's sleep was had as no noise to be heard.

Empty Bottles and takeaway litter at entrance to hotel in mornings. It was quite a time before it was removed.

I had a wonderful stay at NH Amsterdam Leidseplein. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. It’s close to public transportation and within walking distance of many attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful sleep. The amenities were great, and everything was well-organized. The staff was friendly, professional, and always helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was okay—not bad at all. While there weren’t too many options, the quality was still good, and it was enough to start the day. Overall, this hotel offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Amsterdam

Location

The lighting in the bathroom is poor for make up and shaving. The lobby furniture and sofa is uncomfortable and looked more like an Ikea furniture display. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. My only complaint was when I checked out after spending six nights her response was "thank you" and that was about all she said. No thanking me sincerely about any guest appreciation, "did I need a taxi or transportation, how was your stay or come back and see us again etc" Breakfast was outstanding. Only the last day I finally saw the staff clean up and tidy the tables with dirty plates during breakfast and after the breakfast was completely finished were with breakfast too.

Great location a short walk from major museums, airport bus stop just a few meters from the front door. Clean, quiet room. Extremely comfortable bed with good pillows. Nice rain shower with lots of hot water, good pressure and a free-flowing drain (shampoo and shower gel provided). Plenty of vanity space around the bathroom sink to set toiletries. Strong WiFi, lots of electrical outlets to charge devices.

The room was very small and ridiculously expensive (location premium). SO silly that they ask you to hang your towels to help the environment and there was not a single place in the entire bathroom to hang anything - even the shower walls went all the way to the ceiling so no hanging possible. The hotel is very willing to provide clean towels each day but better room design would be helpful to both guests and the environment. We enjoyed our two nights here but if staying in Amsterdam in the future would likely find a less costly option.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, situated in a good spot that made it easy to explore the area. Whether it was sightseeing, dining, or shopping, everything was conveniently close. The breakfast was another highlight of my stay—rich, delicious, and with a great variety of options to suit every taste. It was the perfect way to start the day. The staff were exceptionally polite and always ready to assist with a smile, making the experience even more pleasant. Lastly, the room was always impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The cost was on the higher side. The price could have been more affordable. However I fully recognize the value of the services

My daughter hurt her foot at Schiphol upon arrival. A few of the staff found out as we requested ice to keep the swelling down etc, and the staff were genuinely concerned and followed up - everyone was great, but Skylar in particular, was absolutely amazing. Our bed got super wet because the ice had leaked... and I never like pulling the sheets off the bed at hotels cause sometimes they are absolutely disgusting. These mattresses seemed like they were new! And I know why: the bed had a special sheet that didn't let the water go through, similar to what we used when we were potty training our kids. Hence, the mattress truly were in great, clean condition. One night my wife and I got a little late putting the kids down and then waiting for my mom to come look over the kids while we went out. The kitchen had closed, but Tommy still went back and put something small together for us as we enjoyed some beer/ wine. I've stayed at the Marriott Amsterdam next door, the Park Plaza Vondelpark, as well as other hotels in Amsterdam (I go there 2-3 times a year) - and those are both great hotels in their own right - but because of how amazing the staff like Skylar and Tommy were, I'll only be staying at NH Leidseplein from now on.

No real complaints! Bathroom was a little tight, especially the toilet being wedged between the counter and the shower, but that's about it really.

Liked: Location, Staff, Shower was hot and powerful, they had safe and brought iron and desk at request. Bonus - free drink at arrival and each time you decide not to have room service. Location is just great. Also enjoyed the wifi with decent speed. Breakfast was nice and the best part - till 10.30 during the day. Good for ones who want to enjoy the sleep.

Bathroom is very narrow. Hit the glass with elbow several times. Shower room is not well organized. Idea of having open panel is not a good one. After shower had a lot of water on the floor every time. I also wonder, when hotels start to provide at least one time slippers. Bed was too firm and duvel was of synthetic material. Worst part was when I removed the blanket - decent amount of hair was noticed. Vending machine needs more variety of choices.
