A well-located motel in central Christchurch. The Staff member I dealt with was very good, friendly and helpful. The room was very good. A very competitive place pricewise for the location. There is parking for guests onsite but do be careful when doing so as there is not a lot of space in the parking area. Just take care.

It was very clean, had great facilities that all worked perfectly. Our host (sorry I didn’t catch the name!) was wonderful and so accommodating. We arrived early and were hoping to just leave our bags somewhere until check in, which we did, but he also went out of his way to clean our room first so we could check in a bit earlier. We will definitely be staying at MCM motel again!

Aki the manager was friendly, welcoming and went out of his way to ensure that I had a super comfortable stay. The room was immaculate, warm and inviting. I wasn't exaggerating when I told Aki that it was the best motel room I have stayed in in Christchurch - and I have stayed in a few. I will definitely be a regular. Thanks, Aki...!

There was no designated smoking area and no smoking on the property whatsoever. Though I'm an outside smoker, going all the way to the road to smoke is silly and inconvenient

Beautifully clean room. My partner and I stayed 5 nights. We received fresh towels every day. The bed was large and comfortable. WiFi was strong enough to work from the room. Location was convenient. We parked our car in a free space.

The room was well appointed, not large, but it was fine for the 2 of us.

The owners were very accommodating with a late check in and helpful with my luggage, very hospitable, the bed was comfortable, shower had great pressure, the only down side was the road noise but to be expected in the location

The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and everything was brand new. You can cook something in the microwave. The manager let us leave the suitcases in the storage. And he borrowed us a scale for measuring the weight of the luggage.

Room was clean and tidy, host was very friendly and accommodating. Bed had two individual sides/units and no roll together - was also large. Bathroom was well appointed.

Only distraction was traffic noise from the main road nearby - near a main Avenue, didn't notice so much when asleep.

Few maintenance issues like the bathroom and kitchen sink not draining properly. Shower head leaks water when turned on. Shower door unhinged from the roller. Turning the heat pump a couple of hours before arrival to warm up the room would have been greatly appreciated on a cold night.

As always customer service is top tier! Room was clean had all amenities needed. We were in a different room to usual but which was a nice change. Perfect for a small family. It's quiet considering they are right on the highway. Parking is handy too.

Beds may need either thicker blankets or an electric blanket
