Staff Friendly, welcoming reception. off road parking. Good size room, clean, comfy bed, towels provided. I was pleasantly surprised to see a spa bath in my bathroom ( I was just expecting a shower), and I did have a relaxing soak in the tub. (I miss having a bath at home!) I didn't use the spa jets though. Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Shower in the morning was of good pressure, height adjusting too. There was an electric hot plate, microwave, fridge, tea / coffee. I liked the provision of cafetiere (plunger) for coffee if you had your own coffee, otherwise instant. The small bottle of milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. I did feel a bit guilty that I only used a small amount of the milk as I only have in tea/coffee. Motel is about 20min walk into the city, easy to navigate. And reception handed out a map, and told me where local shop / eateries were if I didn't want to walk into the city. Really comfy night sleep (probably aided by the soak) When I checked out in the morning, I appreciated being able to leave my car on site. And it turned out, I had left some property in my room (got that erky feeling as I walked in town that I'd not packed an item!), which housekeeping found and as I was returning for my car, I was re-united with. So very relieved and grateful!! Would happily stay here again.

Nothing, although, not sure if it was discoloration, or if there was dirt around the spa jets of the bath? Minor issue, as I think most people would just use the shower.

The building is part of a complex that includes townhomes and a few businesses. It is modelled on an English village. Very nice. Room was small but very nice.

Well. The man who checked us in was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately. As we were packing up my husband killed a cockroach that had hidden under our luggage. That can happen, but the room had no place to put our bags except on the floor. When I returned the key I suggested that the hotel should have luggage racks so guests could place their belongings off the floor. I said a cockroach had gotten under the bag on the floor. He looked at me blankly and said “We don’t have luggage racks”. No acknowledgement of the cockroach, nor any apology. Again, I can understand that things like this can happen at the best of places, but to not even have it acknowledged was disturbing.

The room was lovely - 2 separate bedrooms, both with plenty of space, quality bed linen, pillows, and duvets, side tables, bedside lamps, and wardrobes. The living area was large too, and the kitchen well equipped. The bathroom was huge, which was a lovely surprise, and must've been recently renovated, including a fantastic hot and strong shower. There was a supermarket, specialty shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the city was a very short drive. I'd definitely stay here again.

Excellent facilities. Proprietor couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful - outstanding customer service. Very useful laundry facilities! 20-30 minute walk to town centre, which was fine for us. Strongly recommend visits to Riverside Market (loads of food options) & Antarctic Centre near the airport.

Nothing. Only very minor quibble (because we are tall!) was that the chairs in the room were rather low for using with the table!

Motel centrally placed to local shops etc. Older motel that have been tastefully redecorated. Hosts friendly. Onsite parking. Very good price for 2 bedroom apartment, plus very spacious 80 sqm. Would definitely stay there again. Unit is double glazed so whilst new building site working should minimise noise once piling complete (probably another week or two).

Out of motel's control - two doors down they were piling new building site. Luckily not on the weekend. However work did start around 7.30am on the Monday. Obviously new builds occurring so imagine there will be working on site going forward.

A nice motel quite close to the city center. Our room had a lounge and two bedrooms which is awesome when traveling with kids. A kitchenette was fairly small, yet had everything we needed. A bright modern shower with an excellent hot water pressure. Super friendly staff.

The cooktop and the dinnerware (especially bowls) were quite small so it was a bit challenging to cook and eat meals. Not a big problem though. Cold water in the kitchen was rather opaque and didn't look potable, no such problem in the bathroom though.

Our host David was lovely. Extremely helpful with sight seeing suggestions. A lovely change from previous trips to New Zealand to have our room thoroughly serviced each day

A small suggestion for a cosmetic improvement to the room we stayed in would be to repair the grout around the top of the spa bath.

This place was so nice and clean and the staff serviced the room each day. I had opened the windows to let fresh air in and when I was late back they had shut the windows for me which was a very kind gesture. The gentleman at the reception was so friendly and kind.

The door handle was a bit wobbly and I think needs to be replaced

The Manager was exceptionally funny 💯 exceptionally helpful when faced with an unexpected extra person due to transport issues. The room was disability friendly,as I suffered a stroke last year. So the room my husband and I were booked into had a sliding door entry to the bathroom and also had a wet floor Shower at no extra cost to what was advertised. Was truly amazing 10 out of 10. Thank you ❤️ Rosewood Court Motel for the exceptional accommodation. Oh I'd like to also mention that we had a phone call not long after checking out to inform us that there was jewellery left in one of the rooms we booked. So their also TRUSTWORTHY 👍. Love it 😍

There was nothing to dislike

Very welcoming staff, scrupulously clean unit, crisp sheets and comfortable beds. As others have said it is a little tired (though our 2 bedroom unit had a new bathroom). But it's still excellent value for money. Great area too, with good options and supermarket close by, close to town. Will definitely stay again.
