The location was a good deal for us, quite close the center of the town, with all needed facilities for one night.

Walls inside the rooms might need a little repainting.

the guy at the check-in was very helpful. apart from that everything was as expected. I had my own parking spot and the room was basically a studio apartment with a sitting corner, kitchen, bathroom, big closet and bed of course.

There was a (locked) door between my room and the room next to me that let a lot of noise through, I could hear everything from the room next door. Also, when a friend of mine came over for a drink in the evening I felt a bit embarrassed because i felt like we'd be disturbing the person in the next room just by talking at a normal volume. Personally I always wear earplugs when sleeping, so the noise wasn't a real issue for me, I hope it was the same for my neighbor.

The manager Flynn was the most helpful person I have come across in a long time. She was able to provide us with an early check in - the room was completed to our expectation and everything was in order. Also, with the chaos of travelling, we were supposed to take the Trans alpine train and had taken some cash out to use while in train. Due to some error, forgot it there in the hotel. Miss Flynn notified us about this and also transferred the money back into our account right away. Rarely we get such an amazing service and honestly.

No information in the room advising of things to do or points of interest. An example "Not being told at reception Check In there was a Large Big Choice Supermarket 1 minutes walk around the corner or information in your room telling you this. I drove 30 minutes to the closest PacknSave.

Clean, tidy and well presented. Two very comfortable beds as well. There was a toaster and hot water jug as well. The motel manager was very pleasant and was very helpful - phoning us after we’d left to advise us that we had left an item behind, which we returned to collect.

Access to the apartment was by way of a steep and quite long stairway. The lack of a lift was therefore a drawback for less-mobile guests. It was also a pity that there was no hot plate to cook on. The microwave was there but had no containers in which canned food (for example) could be heated or cooked.

Our unit was in the new block used in the picture for the property, this block of units is amongst some older units, the setting is a little rundown but the owners were friendly and the new block of units is modern but feels sparsely decorated.. It was however very comfortable with a large bathroom which was suitable for the disabled. There is no view from the windows and it was next to a very busy street but my room was not noisy and the bed was very comfortable. All and all it was a pleasant stay and I would stay again.

The apartment is of decent size, has all the amenities (like a microwave, electric kettle, fridge, dishes, cups etc.). The staff is very friendly. Not too far from the CBD of Christchurch and supermarkets are also close by in case you prefer to have breakfast in your room. The bathroom was of good size with really good water pressure. There is a big screen TV with good choice of channels.

Since the apartments are in an annex building of a motel, sometimes you can find strange people in the parking lot. Though the inside was clean, there were some cobwebs, which is not uncommon in NZ, but the management should be careful. The sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable.

We arrived late, and checking in was so easy to do, as Ran, the manager, had left keys and instructions for us. Ran was super helpful and was always readily available to help us when required. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Restaurants were close by, and we had an excellent meal in the Indian restaurant Saket, which was nearby. Getting into the city centre was easy to do by bus, as the No.27 bus stop was just around the corner in Colombo Street. I would definitely come back to stay again.

The weather! It was raining when we arrived, and the sun only came out as we were leaving:( There was nothing I didn't like about the property I hasten to add.

The rooms were modern and comfortable. Bed very comfortable and allocated parking spots make to easier to come and go knowing that your spot is there. The gentleman was accommodating for extra milk extra. Room had what you require for a stay and central location

The only thing was that the 2 bedroom stated it had a washing machine, but it was external and not exclusive and had to keep asking to have it opened to use.

Pleasant reception welcomed us and gave access to our room on first floor. Room was clean and welcoming. Off street parking is available and premises in good location if you have a car.

No wifi. Fault meant no wifi for the entire weekend. They left apology notice on reception door. The lack of wifi caused problems as needed it for work. Costly to purchase data. Kitchenette had microwave, jug and toaster. Not able to prepare decent meal as one cracked microwave bowl provided. 2 sets of basic cutlery. 2 mugs, 2 plates, 2 glasses. Bare minimum and far less than we had available at cheaper accommodation elsewhere on our trip. $5 to use washer and drier but only one available for entire motel.
