Spacious apartment with excellent facilities. Large comfortable bed, kitchenette with everything you need plus a table and chairs for meals was appreciated. Also in the bathroom there was a washing machine and dryer so like a home from home. Good location, about 10–15-minute pleasant walk along the river to the main shopping mall. Also just across the road to the Casino where they have reasonable price good quality meals. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

No bench space or storage cabinet in the bathroom. Didn't bother us too much but only negative in the apartment.

All three receptionists over our stay were super lovely, polite and helpful. The modern decor is tasteful and it was very clean (sheets had been sanitised well). The kitchen had it's own sink so that you aren't forced to use the bathroom sink to wash your cups. The kitchen contained a lot of extra items that you wouldn't find in other hotels, including glass containers with lids for food storage and a big fruit bowl. The kitchen also had a dishwasher. The washer and dryer were in the bathroom and looked nice and new. There was also a shelf in the shower and the body wash etc. smelled divine. Overall, it would be a great place to stay for a few days or a week.

The bed was alright. The sheets had a very strong bleach smell in them so while they were delightfully clean, when I unpacked my suitcase, my pyjamas smelled like bleach. A little couch would have been appreciated but the standard in many hotels seems to be just one sitting chair for some reason. The cafe/bar looks welcoming and modern when you come into the hotel but it seemed slightly uncomfortable with the buffet tables being across the window. I would consider a different layout, if possible - the area is just little so it might not be.

Accommodation exceeded our expectations - room was spacious and very clean and nicely designed. Bathroom was also very clean, shower pressure and water output was perfect! Best thing about this hotel was that there was a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom which you could use for free! Great when you're on the last day of your trip and wanting to wash all your dirty clothes; staff also generously handed us more washing machine liquid when requested.

Parking was $20/day and was already full - would be cheaper to park on the side roads (payed $6 for ~2 hours) and is free after 6pm.

Location and the room was comfortable. Washer and dryer included and great for convenience.

Limited seating beside sitting on the beds. Mattress was not plush enough as expected for a hotel. Loose power point. Washer did not work properly but we were able to change rooms. I do note that it would be good if previous guests could let the hotel know about issues they notice. The cafe’s hours fluctuated and barristers could have done better. We order lattes and got cappuccino which were barely warm. The next day my latte was mostly frothed milk. The following day the lattes were milky and too sweet. We decided to get our coffee elsewhere.

The room was huge and very well located near Christchurch's Botanic Garden. Well, maybe not as close as we thought but we will get to that.

We had some issue in reception, who assured us that the Botanic Garden was five minutes away on foot. It was more like 15 minutes (there is a five-minute walk to a park, but the real gardens are further away). We ended up walking 7,000 steps back and forth, wishing we went by car. It might be done in 5 minutes, no wonder why New Zealand did so well at the Olympics. So if this is my biggest complain, you can understand the stay went well. And that I am a bit lazy, too, which I am.

Good location close to centre of town - easy to walk/short drive to Botanic gardn, Riverside cafes, restuarants. Public car park ( free from 6 pm to 9 am next day) right in front of hotel. Nice room - clean and comfortable. We came back to same hotel on a repeat visit when we had an extra night in Christchurch at end of our trip.

Would have appreciated a microwave, although it is not a motel. Car park at NZD 20 expensive - was not aware we could park on roadside for free after 6 pm - staff told us only after we asked. Since we were out most of the day before 6 pm, we ncould have just park on road in front of hotel,without paying the NZD 20.

- We were upgraded to the accessible room which was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge. The bed was comfortable. - Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. - The hotel was well located in the CBD with an easy walk to shops, restaurants and major sights. - Washing machine and dryer in the room was a bonus.

- We thought the $20 fee for an unsecured car parking space was expensive. - No bench in the bathroom to store toiletries. - The hotel is popular with tour groups so it is sometimes busy and the hallways noisy.

We arrived early from the airport, and the staff were allowed us to leave our luggage and park the rental car on site, which was awesome. Despite the fact that there was an electronic music festival down the street that night, we did not hear any noise. Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to the little river that runs through town down to the River Market area. Also close to the Botanical Gardens. Lots of places to eat within a pleasant walk. Only stayed one night. Clean and comfy.

Pretty stoked with the location of this property, a stones throw away from the city centre and town hall. Location was ideal for Mum and I, as we were going to a performance at the town hall... it was nice not having to drive there! Nice and clean room too. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes around too, if you know where to look!

We had an issue with parking the first night, so had to pay at the carpark next door but other than that it was good!

The hotel location is in the city. It is very easy for walking to the tram , city centre and Riverside markets. Quake city is around the corner, and there are restaurants and pubs in the vicinity. The breakfast at the hotel is a great way to start the day. It is well priced and super convenient. The restaurant staff are lovely and very helpful if you need an early breakfast due to tours or departures. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
