The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and I had the best sleep. The view was lovely to wake up to. Everything was great. The breakfast was outstanding, we had enough time to sleep in and still be able to make it to the delicious breakfast buffet. All the flavoured drinks was excellent and basically everything was incredible. Thank u, Thank u, this is going to be our number one Hotel.

Just noticed one of the older lady who did not smile once when she took our dirty dishes away from the table, even when we said thank you to her. But overall it was still an excellent breakfast

Great location with a mall 6 mins walk. Valet car service could do with a better attitude when receiving keys. Satellite tv didn’t work properly till 11pm but had some wonderful staff who really went out of their way to welcome and trouble shoot issues. A-few staff members definitely need a customer service refresher course, I just kept biting my tongue…. Comfortable room with all you would need and brekkie was full American with some good coffee options. I’ll be back for sure. A huge shout out to the lovely reception ladies who really made the stay worth it.

Rooms are dated ie: bathrooms for the price we paid for each room $279 Having to pay an extra $40 valet parking in addition to the room rate for parking of our vehicles including a Disability carpark downstairs at the Hotel location I thought it impolite and that puts me off coming back to your hotel All hotels I’ve been to give you and option if Valet parking

It is very accessible. I love the mirror and the hi-tech TV. The plugs by the bed was a treat.

It's not that I didn't like the fact that the floor I was in had a feeling like it was for all Asians. In the four days I was staying there I have not seen a non-Asian on the second floor, I am sure this was just a coincedence. The toilet had a bad smell from the drain. It was a nice idea that the hot water comes every 5 seconds, both to conserve energy and wake me up. But everything else was very clean and you have all the necessities. I was very excited to see the Waikato River as per the reviews only to see the roof 😅. Not that I was having a staycation, but it wouldve been a good plus considering I was staying for 4 days.

I arrived on my birthday and received a little treat in the form of a small plate of cake from the staff members. I didn't catch their names, but it was the female staff members working at around 3:30pm on 12th September. The room itself is what I expect from Ibis (which is a good thing), and offered a good view of the bridge and river that is behind the hotel. Finally, the staff were very quick to respond when, on my first night, another person staying at the hotel thought it would be appropriate to have a phone conversation, with the speaker on, at around 4am. They came up within seconds and told her to go back in her room. Some other hotels don't bother when you complain about this sort of thing and tell you that you need to do it yourself.

I have nothing major to complain about. The service from the bartender on 13th September PM could have been a bit more friendly, but other than that, the whole stay was solid.

Staff excellent, called reception regarding the heating/cooling system in our room and was attended to straight away. Extended checkout without any issues and was accommodated to with a friendly and helpful service from staff. Overall, staff are amazing! Location great, across from the mall & Breakfast was lovely. Also, whoever responds to the email/messages is amazing! Love the inclusiveness of te reo and english! Definitely a 100🙂

Bathroom had a slight smell, not strong enough to be completely uncomfortable but enough to know it was there. No fan in the bathroom I think?

The breakfast was outstanding.

There was a bit of confusion with my booking because I used Booking.com - I booked for 2 people and even though I specified this on booking.com my confirmation kept on coming up with 1 person - there was no where I could go to change it. This lead to confusion when booking in at the hotel as I was told only 1 of us could have the inclusive breakfast, however, the staff member happily sorted it for us and we got to enjoy a wonderful breakfast. Thank you

The location was great. Staff were helpful with parking advice given all parks were gone. Decor was nice. Appreciated the complimentary late checkout. Checkin and out was quick and easy. My nigthowl toasted sandwich was yum along with the salad. Grateful to have a printed menu available vs trying QR code one.

The casting from mobile to TV was a rig moral. Could have done with another 2 towels. Water warmth fluctuated in the shower. Was disappointed with the no room service. Only option was to go to reception and collect. While good to have the nightowl menu, I was very surprised about only having 3 options of food. No cubbard to put gears out of sight. Bed was on the hard side. Room was small. Price operated given the feedback provided.

We booked room on line for $229.00 and it also said in red "breakfast included", so we thought that sounded good we will come and stay at the Ibis. We had booked in and paid, and we then checked with the girl at the desk 'do we get our breakfast just over there?.. She told us that breakfast was not included so we were pretty disappointed. We said that we were sure it was included in the price, but she said no it was not, and that was the end of the story. No sorry, or apology - not a great attitude. She just turned away and started typing and that was that. We were not very happy!!

Really well located. Paying private parking (valet) which is necessary in that area of town. Their bar and restaurant is nice, but they hosted a private party the Saturday evening and the loud music/animation lasted until later then 11PM. We called reception to inquire of when it would stop but no-one picked up. Room was nice and clean. Beds were good.

No real sound proofing for people on the 2nd floor above the bar/restaurant.
