Tania and the team on Reception were excellent. My partner has Parkinsons and on a phone call to the hotel - then on checking in, I mentioned this to Tania who kindly allocated us a ground floor room with disabled bathroom facilities. It was perfect. As moving around is getting difficult, we also didnt go out for dinner that night. Tania mentioned the rugby came would be on the big screen in the lobby and that we could use plates and utensils if we wanted to order a meal in. We did that and had a very relaxing and enjoyable night. Thanks to your team for their kindness and consideration!

Even though we arrived early our room was ready and the front desk were extremely helpful, in fact all the front desk staff were extremely friendly, and the cleaning staff were friendly and most helpful with anything that we required. The room including the bathroom were clean and smelt fresh, and even though it was so close to the motorway, when our windows were closed we could not hear the traffic. Everything you needed in the kitchenette was provided and suited our needs. The bed, and even the sofa bed were really comfortable and they were clean. The pool, even though it was only a lap pool, served our purposes wonderfully and we managed to cool down from the muggy heat of Hamilton. Location was handy for the hospital and walking distance to major supermarket and CBD, we would stay there again and recommend it anyone.

Only a little thing, the sleeper couch, where it was, once out was difficult to walk around when wanting to use the bathroom. Otherwise we found everything great

The location is central and only a few minutes walk to the local supermarket. The staff were really friendly and easy to communicate with. We needed some first aid assistance and a mobile phone plug and they helped us sort that out. Accessible parking no extra coast which helps and the room was spacious and clean. Great for families. The fridge was big enough to store what we needed and the location is quiet despite being central. We stayed there for an athletics competition and we would have extended if we could stay longer.

It was clean quiet comfy. Felt like home but in another country. Travelling as a group of 4 we booked 2 rooms and they put our rooms right near one another which was fantastic. This was our first stay in our drive tour of NZ. We stayed here again on our 5th night of NZ and both times everything was easy. Girls at the reception were just beautiful. Thank you Tanya for listening to me whine on about a previous hotel we stayed at and what we endured. I couldn't wait to be back in your hotel. Both nights were very comfortable and relaxing. Ideal location with a Pak n Save Super market nearby. Good off street parking made available. As I have a partner with Disability issues I was pleased to obtain accommodation ( such as walk in shower facility ) at no extra cost. No external noise to be bothered with. All in all would recommend this place to match its star rating.

Would have liked to have use of a microwave oven , plates and cutlery like other motels provide .

The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable, great location within walking distance to restaurants, bars etc. Reception Staff and Cleaners were very friendly and helpful, my husband and I enjoyed a peaceful, quiet sleep.

The shower was making some very loud noises at times, but I believe they may have been doing some plumbing work which would account for this. The bathroom was in need of a little TLC as the sink had a huge crack but was still usable. would have loved to have seen USB charge outlets in the room.

Location is great, just off the roundabout with Pak N Save on your left and Countdown on your right. Easy to walk into the CBD and to the restaurants. Room was fine. Great thing about this accommodation is breakfast is included (well at the moment) so you can get something to eat if you are up and about early and off exploring or off to Auckland for a day trip.

Bit of a shame that the included breakfast wont be included as from the 1 October 2023 but can understand the reasoning but then the rooms have cultery etc so just a easy to bring your own if you dont want to eat out. Wont put us off staying here.

The cleanliness is spotless. The beds were so comfy and clean and so was the bathroom. The air conditioning was excellent and it was a great night's stay. The room comes with an iron and an ironing board so that helped a lot as well Not to mention, the location is perfect for city center.

They didn't give some basic amenities like dental kits, instead you had to buy them at the reception

I liked the bath, it was really big and the jets worked. The bed was super comfy and big. There were wine glasses with the normal glasses, a fridge and everything you need to make a coffee. They also have a connection to a local restaurant that offers room delivery so you can call and order food straight to the room, the servings were huge, we ordered 2 meals for 2 people but they were big enough that we could have just ordered one to share.

There were no plugs by the side tables on the bed so had to plug in our phones on the other side of the room (not a big deal). Netflix didn't work on the TV, we tried casting Netflix from 3 different devices (2 phones and an ipad) but it wouldn't cast to the TV, but other streaming services like Disney+ casted to the TV fine.

Last minute stay at Ventura Inn was lovely. I was surprised to get a suite so that really exceeded my expectations. Basically it was a one bedroom apartment with all the amenities and comforts. Nice kitchen, big screen TV in the living room, large bed that was very comfortable, and windows that let in a lot of sunlight. Location was great- just a short walk to the main city center. Free parking on site too. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much. Definitely recommend.

Everything was great ! Wish I could have stayed another night.
