What was really good was having a kitchenette with a sink and water-tap (so we weren't filling the kettle from the bathroom). Much more hygenic. Plenty of space in the room, and gave us peace and quiet while we stayed there. The cleaning staff were very consistent and polite, thank you.

Our only complaint is that there must be a local gym somewhere in the vicinity, so there was some bass music coming through the walls every now and then. This only lasted an hour or so. Other than that, no complaints.

The facilities were good, the shampoo, body wash in the shower were nice. Nice water pressure. A small complimentary milk is offered but we declined due to dairy intolerance. Tea and coffee topped up each day 😀. And complimentary biscuit, which we shared each day. Very nice staff who are attentive and helpful. If we need to stay in a motel again when going for hospital appointments we will stay here. 2 minutes to Paknsave, rooms are as per the photos on site, I forget to take any due to being focused on the hospital appointment.

It's a bit noisy being in the city, although my hubby found the bed comfy, I could have done with a topper but I did sleep ok, so most will be fine with the bed I'm guessing. Noisy snorer next door 🫣. But overall nothing really bad.

Motel was really central, easy to find with off street parking and handy to the venue we were attending. The facilities were clean and very well maintained.

Usually there's a little folder with details like the WIFI - which the reception guy did tell me but I had forgotten by the time I was ready to use it! I got the info easily by popping across to the office but it would have saved a trip. Maybe simple operating of TV and HVAC in there might also be good?

I have stayed here previously and last time was not good at all and based on that I wouldn’t have stayed here again. Last time was run down and had rowdy winz clients staying asking if we wanted to buy drugs. I didn’t realise it was the same place until we arrived, but this time it’s much different. The rooms seemed updated, much cleaner, the overall environment was peaceful and clean. So based off of that I would stay again for sure. Loved the spa bath.

If it’s busy parking can be annoying.

Close to city and hospital which was the main purpose of my stay. Very tidy and the owners were very accomodating. Supermarket only 3mins drive.

The only thing missing was a laundry. But there was one next to the hospital which worked out perfect. Yeah bit of road noise and you can hear when the spa next door is on. But in all fairness, can’t complain tbh.

The room was very very clean and looked to have been just renovated. Everything was modern and very comfortable. I left an item behind and the staff were very helpful in locating this item for me and ensuring they were returned to relative I had advised them would be collecting it. Very very happy and have no hesitation in recommending Ashwood. We will stay again

The room was warm and clean, had heatpump, the spa bath was perfect after a long day, the room was clean and warm, enjoyed the smart tv extra bonus.

The bed was rock hard to firm, woke up multiples times due to bed and people being loud cars flying through all hours off the night. Need to close the carpark at one end not access all ways after hours.

It was great walking distance to the centre of town ! Lots of parking available so it was great I could leave my car there during the day and not worry while we went exploring!

Overall it was a great stay for us ! If i had to nitpick something the spa was really loud ! But that isn’t a big deal we just didn’t use the bubbles ! It was a great time for us

Great central location within walking distance to supermarket, mall and medical facilities. Modern, comfortable room with good heating. The ladies servicing the room were lovely and helpful.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, microwave, kettle, milk tea coffee, air con, good shower, 5 min walk to town, ample parking, easy check out

Very minor - I like the option to decline housekeeping and a towel replacement (only had one use) but it was a pleasant surprise and I appreciate the cleaning standards.
