Massive apartment: The 2-bedroom setup was spacious, clean, and came with a balcony, large living area, and a well-equipped kitchen—perfect for families or longer stays. Secure on-site parking: Loved the professional touch—reserved parking spots with name plates and secure shutters. It felt safe and well-managed. Prime location: Everything was just a short walk away—restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Super convenient! Good amenities: Onsite coffee shop was a bonus, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Renovated interiors: While the building is older, the rooms themselves have been renovated and felt fresh and comfortable.

Long walk from parking: The walk from the back parking area through the corridors was a bit of a stretch, especially with luggage—but it was safe and well-lit. Lobby smell: The lobby had a slight musty/husky smell—likely due to the building’s age—but didn’t affect the rooms. Overall: A great stay in Hamilton. Big rooms, secure parking, and a central location make this a solid choice. Ideal for families, business travelers, or anyone wanting space and convenience. Would stay again!

Always stay here. Location is great and parking is awesome because if you let them know you need a park when you book, they give you a named carpark in the covered building out the back (which is easy to drive around in and has a high roof so you can take SUV's and utes). Location is great. This time we got a room which was back off the road a bit, and having always booked street view rooms I was stoked at how much more quiet the standard rooms were.

When I went down to the restaurant for a wine there was no duty manager so could not buy alcohol. (I know its not a big deal, but then I went wandering to try to find somewhere else to purchase from to take back to my room and there was no other option in close walking distance).

The bed was very comfortable and the shower had excellent pressure. Right in the heart of the city, great for a night out.

There was lots black mould growing in the creases of the shower which was quite gross and indicates lack of cleaning, the room could do with a full length mirror for when getting ready to go out, although the room came with a balcony it was quite boring, just one outdoor chair and no table, it could do with some decor. There are plugs by the beds but you have to pull the beds away to use them to charge your phone unless you want to charge your phone on the other side of the room which is slightly inconvenient.

Staff (Jake) was very helpful and assisted with many requests. Location was suitable for what we wanted. Grateful for the Laundry - but unfortunately not enough machines.

Unfortunately, the expected car parking spot was not available, but the suggestion of the SkyCity carpark was very helpful. Though it cost more than expected. Thankfully, a car parking spot did become available at the hotel on our second night. Also, the room was down a number of stairs which was difficult for my companion to navigate - but the Staff were very helpful in assisting me with getting the luggage to the room.

Great location and sufficiently spacious for what we needed. Staff were very accommodating organising a carpark for me which we greatly appreciated.

It's not clear from the property listing that you can book carparks in advance. We were lucky to secure one last minute, which we are greatful for, but our stay (with two preschool children) would have been very difficult if we couldn't get a park. If I'd have known we could have booked in advance, I would have done so. It is NOT first in, first serve only/no bookings as implied on the property listing.

Great Central location . The attached restaurant had good variety and was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful especially when we needed to change rooms out due to bed layout. Warm rooms with all basic necessatites. I would stay again for a short staybased in location being excellent and everything else was fine. . Recommend prebooking your carpark if you have a car.

The bed was sleepable for 2 nights. Buildup of mould in the bathrooms need a bit of attention. Did not like other cars double parking inside blocking others in. It's already tight inside - that needed to be managed better/differently . The bathrooms are tight - we were fine but if you have any physical conditions or needs book a different room - Not a complaint just making others aware.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would like to acknowledge the housekeeping staff member that went our of her way to help us, we really appreciated the extra mile attitude so, many thanks. The facility was clean and tidy and the location is perfect close to the shopping centre, restaurants and casino. The on site parking was excellent our vehicle was safe and secure we didn't use it during our stay as everything is of walking distance. The noise level was extremely low. The apartment had everything that we required, clean and fresh, Comfy bed, lovely hot shower, loved the heating system, the balcony was great, loved sitting outdoors on the balcony with a coffee watching the world go by. This facility is fairly priced, our experience sees us highly recommend you book here for your next stay in Hamilton .

When you enjoy your break away so much, time seems to pass to quickly.

Beds were very comfortable so we slept very well - staff were very pleasant and very helpful- breakfasts were great and parking on site a plus Triple stars for service must go to the two girls attending the bar on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning

Bathroom shower very high step without any hand rails - nowhere to hang towels - mirror a bit high and barely room to dry yourself without knocking into the walls The in-house phone was connected but not working and access to power points difficult as bed base very heavy to move

Have stayed a few times and always like the central location. Go to the rugby often so easy walking distance.

We have stayed at the Ramanda Hamilton a few times now. Always a great stay as it is city central. This time was the first roadside room which wasn't really a problem but being the night of the All Black game so probably a bit louder than normal. Won't stop us from coming back tho. Not a big deal but didn't like the shower over the bath.

Location is great if you are needing to be central to town. Can be a little noisy in the weekend with night life happening, but you have to expect that
