we had been traveling for some weeks when we reached eichardts, so having laundry facilities in our apartment suite were an unexpected bonus. The nice kitchen also gave us the ability to cook some food items which we like without going out to a restaurant. The locaction of eichardts at the waterfront promenade was beautiful and got us close to all the local bars and tours. We were served a liesurly but excellent free breakfast in the eichardts bar. Great and helpful hotel staff. Queenstown on the wharf is so beautiful, dont go to the uphill accomodations

Absolutely nothing

The location is spectacular, staff great, breakfast delicious. The room was beautifully decorated, quiet, comfortable, view amazing. We loved it

If I had to find something to not like, the yard could have been swept. And maybe USB port somewhere, or a plug by a table for charging devices

There was a few bits due to miscommunication, but nothing that couldn’t be sorted by very helpful and understanding staff.

Absolutely memorable place to stay- the location and staff are superb & so is the food & the building … Amazing hotel & well worth the effort to get to Queenstown & visit Arrowtown & Milford Sound. Go for it.

Eichardt’s Residence is a three storey apartment, set away from the hotel. It is beautiful, well appointed, and has a predominantly uninterrupted view of the Remarkables and lake.

Because it is not close to the hotel, services that hotel guests would normally be offered (I have stayed at Eichardt’s main hotel before), were not. The house was not serviced daily, there was no turn down service and no room service available. Normally, I’d rate the lack of these extras as a first world problem, however; at a rate of NZD$2500+ a night, I think it’d be fair to expect what every other hotel guest would be offered. Staff are clearly doing their best but it is clear they are stretched.

The location was perfect and the room one of the most beautifully appointed I have ever stayed in. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

From the moment you walked into Eichardt’s you were treated like nothing was a problem for the staff to help you with. The service from all staff was exceptional. The view from the property is sensational.

Incredibly helpful staff who made our stay extra special. The penthouse is stunning throughout and has one of the most amazing views in Queenstown.
