When we arrived, our instructions and keys were clear....the room was warm as the heater had been turned on, and the beds were very comfortable...the couch looked a bit damaged however was very comfortable, we had just about everything we needed with the exception of a kettle in the room, I think when we go again, we will take our own kettle, as it is a bit of a trek to the kitchen per cup of tea....the dish box purchase is worth it, and you have all you need in it....the playground is made for a giant apparently, and the tramp is neat...the gamesroom also worthwhile with another tv, blackboard, pool table, and a number of games. it is within walking distance of the lake. there were not many children when we went, as winter...wifi worked well...

there are no unisex or whanau bathrooms, therefore if you prefer to keep your children away from others eyes its not so easy....and while this is not law in NZ it is a comfort....people chatted though which was great.

We booked a cheaper room with two bunk beds, but decided that we needed some extra room. The staff were lovely and accommodating and we upgraded (for a small fee) to a room with a kitchenette and double bed. You get what you pay for, and it was a lovely park to stay in. A great games room above the office with a pool table, a volleyball net on the lawn, picnic tables, a playground, a cold pool and two hot pools. The coffee van man was lovely also.

It is definitely worth noting that people don't expect what they book and then don't like the small space in the little cabins.

The room was a good size room and very clean. Was happy with the clean bedding and also the bed was nice and comfy not to hard and not to soft. I loved the big spa, was sooooo nice as the weekend was cold and wet. The spa topped off our stay The lady at the reception who checked us in was awesome, and really helpful and good to talk to. Great Customer Service

There is nothing bad to say about this holiday park. The only thing that I was not impressed with was the weather.

I paid 192 for 3 days & 2 nights for a studio cabin for my little family and honestly.... well worth it!! 🤩 The studio cabin was just enough space for my little family. It had clean bedding, they provided dish washing liquid and a heater which was cool most places don't do that. The swimming pool was amazing my two kids loved it, the 2 private spa pools on site were clean and amazing as well! 😃 My two kids loved the park which was awesome and the walk over bridge across the stream which was beautiful☺️ The facilities were clean toilets and shower👌 They also had a food/hot beverage cart on site which was awesome to wake up to if you want a quick and easy hot beverage 🥹 I will definitely be back it was overall the best holiday park I've been to, very happy with my stay thank yous😄

Nothing was awesome

- really friendly staff - outdoor pool and 2 heated indoor pools - excellent BBQ and kitchen facilities. - clean bathrooms including baby bath (in ladies changing only). - good laundry facilities - excellent communal eating areas (indoors and outdoors).

- we mentioned some issues at the beginning and they were never dealt with (eg broken fridge shelf and dirty storage). In fact one staff member said they didn’t realise there was storage under the bench. - there are a LOT of ants. I cleaned 2-3 times a day and we ate all our meals outside but still I had to use the spray powder (helpfully provided) most days. Maybe due to the dirty storage which contained bits of food. - this site has a lot of full live residents, which changes the dynamic. They all seemed nice (one noticed we’d left our lights on in our car, which was super lovely), but we definitely felt like we were intruding on their patch. Very different to all our other stays in NZ where you have those random conversations with strangers.

Located about 10/15 min by car from 5he centre of Rotorua. The rooms were basic but ok for my family and I. The room was warm (we visited in August) and the beds comfy There was a fridge and cupboards (empty) but nothing else in the room. The hot pool on the right is nice. The one on the left was a little murky

The walk to the toilet in the night wasn't pleasant and the key code to punch in took a few tries before we could get in the bathrooms/toilets and kitchen. No plates, silverware in the kitchen but you can borrow cookware Perhaps a kettle in the rooms would be nice

The reason for my visit to Rotorua was to spend two days at the mountain bike parks. My criteria for accommodation was somewhere close, and low cost. I hired a basic cabin, as this was the cheapest and all that I needed. The room was really nice, the bed was comfy, and having a TV in it was a bonus. The shower and toilet facilities whilst modest were completely adequate and very clean.

The was nothing negative about my stay. For the cost, I believe I got very good value for money.

Was very pleased with cleaniness. I stayed in the standalone unit with its own kitchen and bathroom. It was wonderful to find the hairdrier in bathroom. Can opener and good range of kitchen utensils. I had stayed somewhere else a few weeks prior similar cost and it had very poor facilities and unit was dreadful. So pleasant surprise to find this camp ground so nice. Guess it is basic but suited my purpose. Will come back again when it is warmer for use of pool etc.

would have like privacy curtains on bedroom window. Could only use the curtain to fully close, if I wanted to change, and it faces straight out to where everyone walks by. Also there was not soap facility on shower, so had to take the handsoap container to use. You provide sheets and towels etc so it we are paying for a full motel style unit. So it was 3 nights for ^00 odd, so not a cheap stay. Cooking facility had no stove, so if I had been with family (it slept 6) it would have been difficult to cook on two portable hot plates

Easy access, nice cabin, nice and clean, it was a quiet place to stay. Shower in the unit was good, all the kitchen facilities and utensils worked. The hairdryer worked well too!! The lady at reception was lovely,very accommodating. The bedroom was compact, but as there were 2 of us, it had plenty of space for us. There we've was a coffee cart on site for breakfasts, which was an unexpected bonus

The kids loved the free use of the hot spa pools as the swimming pool is a bit too chilly this time of the year. Great bathroom facilities with hairdryers, a bathtub for little ones. great that the units provided dishwashing liquid. It wasnt noisy at night time.

I didnt notice the proximity to the airport, so on Friday it was quite noisy with all the weekday flights, didnt notice it so much over the weekend. The bottom bunkbed mattress ( the double) was not a comfy. There was no trampoline
