The location of the B&B is ideal for nature lovers, just a short walk from the Redwoods. It's also not far from downtown or the airport. The wooden porch outside the room is a great place to listen to bird calls and nature. There is also a sitting room accessible to guests. The owner is very welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, providing a great deal of information to travelers regarding attractions in the area and places to visit. The breakfast is made to your liking, at a time you choose. (GREAT TOAST!) It is also appreciated when recycling bins are provided for conscious guests, and there is a large one in the room.

The lighting in the room was a bit bright for my tastes, but this is minor.

Vivian is a truly amazing host, she shared a lot a tips and recommendations about Rotorua which contributed to make our stay unforgettable. The room was comfortable and sizeable, with a nice little terrace with a view on the garden. Location was perfect, especially if you plan to cycle in the RedWoods.

All was great, but we would note a few room equipments (e.g. bathroom towels) could be renewed! But that's very much a detail.

Vivien is a great hostess and met us at the door. We were shown around the facilities and settled in nicely. The location is great, not far from the Redwoods entrance, but off the main road, with a nice outdoor area to relax in . The bed was comfortable with a selection of pillows and the bathroom was well appointed. Breakfast was generous and at a time that was selected by us. Vivien was friendly, great to chat to and had lots of information about what was available nearby. Parking was directly outside and off the street. Tea and coffee facilities were missed in the room, but were available in the nearby dining room

Great breakfast, excellent host. Nice and comfortable room, very close to the Redwoods Walk. Viv went out of her way to help us by getting us tickets for the Redwoods walk. It was a fast pass and saved us lots of time. Viv also gave us guidance on the various activities and tours in the area. Overall great stay.

Vivien is a warm, friendlh and hospitable host. She will share with you great tips about the walking trail, places of interest and foods & drinks specially catered for your interest (as long as you chat with her and let her know). The room is cozy and well located - within 10 to 15 mins to the Redwood trail and Redwood tree walk.

Stayed 2 nights with Vivian at B&B@Redwoods in early September 2023. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The accommodation was clean. modern and spacious. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Juice, coffee, fruit, boiled eggs, toast and jam. Vivian is the perfect hoist. She is a fountain of knowledge about Rotoura. She gave us 5 recommendations in our stay and they were all perfect. We had a blast and would highly recommend the B&BRedwoods.

This B&B surpassed our expectations. Vivian is a magnificent host and she went above and beyond in also helping us with reservations for activities in the area. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast with Vivian and the other guests. Vivian provided us an excellent breakfast with several options. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location for the Redwoods forest and able to get fast track tickets for it from the host Extremely warm welcome Vivien spent time with us when we arrived to explain the best things to do in Rotorua and provided a map. good choice for breakfast , private entrance for room, Vivien was extremely knowledgeable and involved all her guests

Love the proximity to the redwood walk and close by eats! Vivian, the host, was exceptional! She helped us plan out our whole day and ever recommendation was perfect. The breakfast provided was lovely. She was so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place. We could not have asked for a better stay and felt so welcomed!
