One of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in! Staff cleaning and polishing all day everyday. Toilets in public areas were fantastic. Breakfast buffet was top notch with a wide range of freshly prepared items. Bar prices were very reasonable and the snacks we had were freshly prepared and very nice making it an attractive proposition to stay by the pool all day. That said there are so many nice restaurants close by it would be a shame not to venture out and try everything that's on offer. For us the short walk into town and its beach was pleasurable but I can imagine is you're less mobile it would be quite challenging especially the uphill journey back.

We paid for a budget room and our view of the car park was not the best. Consider paying more if you want the view of the pool. Setting up a room account and signing chits of paper was painful in this day and age. Paying €40 cash deposit for 2 towels for the pool seemed ridiculous considering they had our room number and our credit card details. Made us feel like we weren't trusted. Whilst the hotel is meticulously looked after it is showing signs of its age. Lots of cracked and broken floor tiles to trip on. Bathroom whilst very functional had fittings from the 80s. These are minor comments to bring things up to modern standards. Overall the hotel is great

Breakfast was very good , staff extremely helpful and friendly , and the pool excellent. Penty of sunbeds but maybe we missed main season by a week. Location very good - short walk to restaurants etc.

Rooms a little tired but very clean and comfortable

Read some very mixed reviews but we had a great experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, Carvoeiro is quite a small town and everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is very good - everything was fresh and a wide variety available. The food and especially drinks at the pool bar were excellent. Staff were lovely, especially the bar men! Great pool area and a great buzz around.

There are no parasols (umbrellas) available at the pool, only a very small canopy attached to each sun lounger. The staff at reception told us “no hotel has them” yet we saw two hotels up the road with plenty! There are a lot of trees around the pool area so it is possible to find shaded spots , however there are no areas in the shade all day so you need to keep moving. I think it would be a good idea for the hotel to offer parasols to guests.

Breakfast was lovely. Staff very attentive especially Romulus (I think that’s how you spell it) Credit to the hotel. Room was modern and the balcony big with two sun beds and a bistro set. Comfortable bed. Room service great.

Bathroom was dated but clean . The hairdryer was attached to the wall with an old fashioned hose like a vacuum. My hair is short so wasn’t a problem but there is no way you could style hair with it. There is a shower above the bath with a shower curtain. There wasn’t any tea/coffee facilities in the room which again didn’t bother us, however I understand one might want to sit with a coffee on the balcony. Room was small but adequate.

The staff were very efficient and friendly; the breakfast was superb and especially the selection of super ripe fruit; freshly baked breads and a very tasty hot selection; very relaxed and on til 11 which actually I find really good as I prefer brunch. The Location of the Hotel is perfect and although half way up a hill is very well placed for Bars and Restaurants. My 3rd time here and will be back, oh I also enjoyed the pool menu which saved heading off site, although there were a few great restaurants within a couple of hundred yards. The spa area definitely needs attention and the outdoor jacuzzi wasnt operating either; very little would make the spa area a delightful addition to a super little hotel.

The hotel has a great pool and breakfast buffet. The bar at the pool had reasonable prices and made it easy to relax and stick around for the whole day. The location was great for getting to restaurants and the beach.

We arrived at 4pm on our arrival day and the room wasn’t ready (even though check in was 3pm). We were asked to wait a while in the lobby, which was not air conditioned, so we were very hot. The property advertises parking included, but they don’t regulate it so lots of other people park there during the day and your spot isn’t guaranteed. We were worried each time we left that we wouldn’t get a sport when we returned.

Heavy Duvets on the beds in August. Not all the Reception staff were welcoming & friendly. Hotel needs to decide if they accept non residents in the bar and communal areas. They do not state publicly that the hotel is not open to non residents. We invited family staying in the area to join us for a drink in the bar, but they were denied access by reception, we asked reception in advance and told to speak to the Bar manager. Friends who stayed here previously, asked reception if family could join them and told no problem…

The hotel was clean and was ideally located a short walk away from the square. The pool was clean and had great seats in the pool but it was difficult to get served in the pool. The breakfast was great, with a good choice of fresh food. There’s an amazing choice of restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel.

Tea making facilities would have been welcomed. The fridge in our room didn’t seem to get cold. It’s probably best to contact the hotel directly as it too a long time to get a response when messaging on booking.com platform.

We spent two nights at the Mirachoro Hotel in Carvoeiro and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is perfect—especially when traveling with a small child—as you can easily walk to the charming town center without needing a car. The hotel has everything you could wish for: spacious and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and a pool area with a jacuzzi and pool bar. There’s even a small adjoining pool for babies. Every Tuesday there is live music at the pool area. If you wish to visit Carvoeiro Beach this is very easy: just a few minutes by foot. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, especially when we had a late afternoon flight and needed some extra time in the hotel. A special thank you to Mario, Nelson, and Gisela, who went above and beyond to arrange a late check-out for us. Hopefully we will return soon:)!
