This stay was not easy. My wife broke her leg halfway through our stay and we had to change accommodations because she couldn't walk up the stairs. Dalia easily fixed it for us and arranged accommodations in a nearby hotel with an elevator. Thank you so much for your help. There were Canaries feeding in the tree outside and Blackbirds arguing in the backyard of Vitoria.

Some earlier reviewers complained about noice from the traffic, but what do you expect from a busy city?

Spaceous big appartment equiped kitchen. Good location, easy to reach from the aéroport. Just nearby is nice bakery and lots of restaurants to the Lido Beach abit further. 20-30min. Small Beach nearby. 5min.

Matracess and pillows are abit hard, but big. Its situated on the main road, during the day its pretty loud Street. To the mountains its far away, you need to take the car or taxi...

The location is amazing, everything you need for an apartment is available, the staff is very friendly.

There is a restaurant below the apartment and the smells make it difficult to breathe in the evening.

The apartment was located a bit out of the city center which we were looking for - it was facing the street with some traffic, however it was really quiet. Had a good night sleep without hearing anything! The hostess welcomed us nicely and shared relevant information. Rooms were clean and spacious! There was also a small balcony which was a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and had all the things we needed. Will come back when we will visit Madeira in the future!

The living room furniture had become a bit old (some stains on the couch), otherwise looked really clean.

Bigger studio apartment, fridge, electric cooktop, table with chairs, living room place too, good location at Lido. The bed was comfortable, we had a cleaning at half of the week. Airport bus stops at front of the building, grocery store in 2-300 m. You can reach the city center in 30 min on foot or 10 min by bus. Correct car rental agency in 200 m, parking place for cars 4€/night at the grocery store.

We had problems with the amount of hot water, it was barely enough for a shower for one person. We had a false fire alarm in the middle of the night , the machine was screaming next to our door, that was scary.

Excellent hotel! Super location, very convenient to get to in all directions. Responsive staff who helped in all matters. The room is comfortable, which corresponds to the price-quality ratio. Definitely recommend!

Great location Very welcoming staff Large terrace with view (I was given the penthouse - top floor - apartment) I was there fir New Year’s Eve and it was great to be able to walk back to apartment (30 mins) without having to fight for a taxi or a car park :)

Can get noisy but that’s inevitable when you are in town

The location was perfect for all facilities, (groceries,banks,car hire etc) restaurants, bus routes and also within a twenty minute flat scenic walk into Funchal. Dalia was absolutely lovey and we had ease of communication through the phone, Whatsapp and she called also be reached in the partnered hotel up the road in person. The apartment was very spacious and brilliant value for money if you are on a budget.

The toilet seat in our apartment was a tad wobbly but found that a lot in Funchal generally!

To be met by someone friendly. She had cleaned the property very fast so we could get in early. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Fabulous big balcony with comfy sun lounges and umbrella. Would stay here again

Nothing - all good

Location is very good, walkable distance from main destinations. Near are several parking (paid) areas. Groceries stores, restaurant.

It was really hot at nights and there was no fan. Fan would have helped a lot.
