The breakfast buffet was excellent. The lunch and dinner buffets were also pretty good if you have kids and don't fancy venturing out some days. The sea view from our 11th floor sea facing balcony was outstanding. The pool area was lovely. Clean and great for the kids. Room was clean and very comfortable.

I did not like the birds in the very small cages on the grassy area by the pool. The cages were in the direct sun and some of the birds looked thoroughly miserable. If they are going to keep birds they should be better housed.

Service, spa, room, balcony, view, public areas, pool. Everything we needed for a four-week stay. We were very comfortable.

Great location. Lovely sea view from the 10th floor. The room was great (1010), a very good sized balcony, and a separate lounge area. Good value for money. Not too busy when we stayed in mid June. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had stayed here before and would certainly stay here again. Easy walk into the centre of Funchal, also serviced by numerous regular bus services. The airport bus stop is 1 minute away on foot, €10 return. Loads of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.

Nothing to dislike. However, it's worth pointing out that there is currently a development in progress over the road, so during the day building works are audible, that may impact on people's enjoyment around the poolside. Didn't bother us though, as we were out all day.

Kind staff, amazing clean rooms, nicely maintaned pools, delicious breakfast. Safe and nice neighbourhood. The garden is well-maintained and amazing. Parking lot available.( in peak season might be limited as it is not so huge).

You need to walk a bit towards downtown, but there are frequent buses. We could not use the spa option as we went out for hiking during the day, and it had a short time period when it was open.

Simply amazing view from the hotel balcony (we were lucky to get propbably the best room in hotel). Also the fact that the we had two rooms - living room and the master bedroom. You can enjoy your evening while watching Tv and eating something off the table.

The furtniture was a little bit beat down. The toilet paper was very thin. Also it was a bit far from city centre. Approx. 20 minutes walk. It is not that bad if you like walking though.

The location is convenient, a little way out of town but easy to walk or get the bus. Our room was pleasant and had a separate sitting area and balcony which we liked. We found the hotel to be good value for money and adequate for our needs. We would consider staying there again if we returned to Madeira

Nothing particular. The photo of the pool used to advertise the hotel does not seem accurate though.

The hotel is in a very good location which makes it a great base for exploring the island. Free parking for guests. The rooms are large and very well equipped. We got a room with an ocean view - it was wonderful to be able to enjoy such a wonderful view. The food at the hotel was very tasty. Especially the dinners were very varied and delicious! Very friendly, helpful and professional hotel staff. Special thanks to the managers for a very pleasant surprise on our anniversary and my birthday. We will certainly never forget it. It was a very nice surprise. I highly recommend staying at this hotel

24/7 front desk, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, big and clean room, parking lot and very good location in a lively neighborhood.

Sport facilities quite limited and rusty / not working. Working hours for gym and pool could be extended.

Lovely location overlooking the sea front, with buses across the road going to Funchal. The room is big with a separate living area, with a balcony and wonderful sea views. The pool area was nice with a pool bar - reasonable prices. Breakfast was expansive and nice. On the airport bus route, which is extremely convenient.

The suite was a little tired in places. The hairdryer worked only intermittently. The bodywash/shampoo product quality, in my opinion, could have been better.

Very friendly staff. The hotel was clean and breakfast was exceptional with plenty of options. We found the location perfect, Old Town east and Lido West. The rooms are above average size, smelled and looked fresh and clean. Balcony was a real plus with great views. Pool area was nice. Overall good value for money. Again I must compliment the staff
