Great location, very central and surrounded by amenities. Our room had a beautiful sea and pool view, very spacious and with loads of wardrobe space, we loved it. Breakfast was well served, loads options of fruits, breads, cheese, cold and hot food, plus fresh omelettes that could be ordered on the counter. Indoor pool area was great, saunas and jacuzzi available for guests, and outdoor pool was beautiful, near the bar/restaurant with sea view. The parking is shared with the mall located right underneath the hotel, so sometimes in rush time it gets a bit busy and you have to wait a few minutes to be able to enter, but overall very convenient for people that decide to have a car in Madeira. Staff at the reception, restaurant and room cleaning were always very helpful and polite, very welcoming and always happy to give information. Overall, great place to stay, highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

The mini fridge is very old, so it doesn't cool what you put inside, and the shower towels could be a bit softer, some of them were harsh on the skin

The room was very nice, clean and pretty spacious. The view from the room to the sea was fantastic. The breakfast has a huge variety and there was always plenty of food offered. If something went out they refilled it right away. The quality and the taste especially of the hot breakfast choices was very good. All the people that work at the hotel (reception, at the breakfast room and the cleaning ladies as well) while I was there were very friendly and you could talk to them and they were always willing to help you. Thanks for that comfortable stay.

The cocktails at the Hotel Bar could be a bit cheaper. Other than the that there is nothing I can say here. It was a really nice and comfortable stay at the Hotel "The Views Monumental". Thanks.

I was lucky to have booked this hotel! I don't remember to have ever felt so welcomed and comfortable in a hotel while travelling. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful all the time. The hotel has great facilities including outdoor/indoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, sauna, etc. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had all essential facilities. The restaurant was providing buffet breakfast and dinner with a wide variety of tasty and delicious food. The hotel also organised daily night events with live music & DJs providing an incredible atmosphere and giving its guests a proper summer holiday feeling with positive vibes while dancing with each other. Amazing! The hotel is located only 5-10 min away by car / public transport and it's very close to the Lido swimming pools complex that I also recommend. It was my 1st time in Madeira and I'm super happy with this hotel. I might come back again! Obrigado! :)

Nothing. The only thing I can suggest is to add labels next to the food in the restaurant to allow the guests to understand what it is.

Nice and clean room with a great view over the city and the outdoor pool. The breakfast selection was really wide, we were even able to get the breakfast quite before the breakfast opening hours due to the planned hiking activities, so this was a great benefit, the staff were really helpful regarding this. We could use a gym which was in the shopping center nextdoor. There was an underground parking available which was free for hotel guests (subject to availability).

A bit noisy, we could often hear voices and noises behind our doors. Wi-Fi was absolutely non-existent in our room, unfortunately. Seems that the cleanliness in the pools and jacuzzi might need some improvements.

Perfect location, near the center of Funchal (10mn bus ride), planty of restaurants around. Nice view on the ocean , the pool area was very nice and clean as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, checkin and checkout was very quick (24/7). Very nice breakfast, a lot of choices !

The room was practical and clean, except for the shower. The showerhead had been previously broken and quickly patched up with a spare tube, making a lot of noise when the water was on. Additionally, I am 185cm tall and my head hit the top of the shower unless I bent down. The parking was free and useful as you need to rent a car to fully enjoy Madeira, but it wasn’t very practical, as it is a free access parking, everyone can park here, not only the hotel customers , so there were not much place unless you park before 5-6pm.

Hotel was as good as expected, room was comfortable, location was great. Breakfast had huge variety and good quality. Hotel has parking which is a must. The parking lot is a bit crowded but always managed to find a tight spot. The staff were super friendly and accomodating. Pool is nice and warm. Checkout is at noon but for a €15 surcharge, we could stay until 16h, which is very cost friendly and comfortable for later flights. Alltogether we were beyond satisfied.

Paid extra for ocean view room, but the view wasn't as impressive as we thought it would based on the pictures, probably would have been if we were given a room on a higher floor. Still, I think it was worth getting the ocean view room.

I recently spent a week at The Views hotel on Madeira, and overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with enough space for two people. It was well-maintained, and the bed was cozy, making it a nice space to relax after a day of exploring the island. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide range of options. I especially appreciated the variety of breads and cheeses available each morning, which provided a great start to the day. The swimming pool, although not very large, was more than adequate for a relaxing swim, and I enjoyed spending time there. The indoor spa area was also a lovely feature, providing a nice space to unwind. The bar was a great spot for evening relaxation, with a good selection of drinks and snacks. The live music performances were a real treat, especially the duet with the guitarist—they made the best impression on me out of all the entertainment we saw.

While my overall experience at The Views was positive, there were a few areas that could be improved. The indoor spa area, while enjoyable, seemed a bit less maintained during the summer period, and I noticed that it could use more frequent cleaning. One downside to our stay was the restaurant’s early closing time. We had dinner there once and enjoyed the food, but on another occasion, we arrived too late to dine as the restaurant closes at 9 PM. It would have been more convenient if there were later dining options available.

The room was exceptionally clean, and my boyfriend and I felt very safe throughout our stay. We loved the stunning ocean and pool view from the balcony. The shower had great water pressure, which made a noticeable difference. The staff were helpful and kind, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing—far beyond the usual hotel fare. Instead of just scrambled eggs, they offered a variety of options like omelets, sunny side up, hard boiled, and scrambled eggs. Overall, I highly recommend this place to others!

The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the beds. While the mattress was fine to sleep on, it was a bit hard. Other than that, everything else was great!

Most of the staff were excellent. More information on the bed situation should have been better communicated from booking. Reception staff were helpful, eventually and resolved the issue. Sadly didn't get the ladies name but she was exceptional Breakfast was good, other food and drinks offered were good. AC in room was great. Exceptionally clean, dealing with the ash from the fire and was still spotless

Great location - about 30 minutes by walk to Funchal centre and 20 minutes to the biggest beach - Praia Formosa. Also easy to get there from the airport as the bus stop is in front of the hotel. Room was good, clean and conformable. Various and tasty breakfast with fantastic view of Madeira's coast line. Generally, the hotel was clean, comfortable and worth the money's paid.

The view mentioned in room description is an open thing - if you will be located on the lower floors you will see the street and restaurant instead of the mountains. Not sure why the receptionist changed our room during check-in - he said the one chosen by the system would be inappropriate.
