Joselino was exceptional. He is the main reason we would return to Madeira and stay at the Florasol again. He went above and beyond to give suggestions, we landed early and were lucky and got to check in our room. The location was very convenient to what we wanted to do. The kitchen staff was awesome and offered a variety of tasty breakfast options.

I was pleased with everything about my stay. Being your own shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, shower cap etc. Or you can buy there on the island.

On the 1st of January they expanded breakfast time until noon but at 11:30 there was almost nothing left. The rooms aren’t sound proofed, you could hear babies cry or people playing music. The parking space is small and was always full. On the street was also very difficult to find a parking spot.

This was our second time here. We liked the location of the hotel, the services, the delicious breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful when I asked for change of room (before lower floor with street view). If you have a chance ask for a room on a higher floor with sea view. We had this large apartment during our first stay and it was amazing.

our initial allocation of room was not good. right at the back, no view, old interior and gloomy. we asked for a room as pictured on booking.com which we were moved to after one night.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. He kindly answered every question we had. The apartment we stayed in was very spacious and nice. There was one balcony from the bedroom and one from the living room with a pleasant view. There was quite a lot of equipment in the kitchen as well. The hotel also had a pool, which we did not have the oportunity to use (we didn't have the time). The location is also nice. There is a bus stop nearby - the buses go to the centre and also the aerobus to and from the airport stops there. Not far from the hotel is also the city beach. It would be a nice place to stay longer - we were there one day only. Thank you for the hospitality!

Some furniture in our apartment needs some refreshment or changing, for example by the kitchen entrance. Also, there was no cosmetics in the bathroom, but we had our own, so we didn't ask for them.

This is our forth time at this hotel, as always it has a great location with plenty of bars and cheap to high end restaurants. Located in the upper areas of the Lido. Close to local bus services and a nice 40 minute walk into the centre of Funchal old town. Excellent friendly, helpful and efficient staff in all areas. Good buffet breakfast. This time we were placed on the top 12th floor, had excellent views out to sea. With full view of the comings and goings of the Cruise ships.

Nothing, everything was fine

The pool and outdoor area are great, modern looking with an amazing view and lovely pool, as are the rest of the grounds. The beds are very comfortable and sheets nice and crispy. Bathroom modern and all you need, the kitchen has all you need too. Great view from the balcony. The location is good, if you walk down the steps to the seafront there are a great choice of restaurants and a nice park and lido pool.

The rooms could really do with an upgrade furniture wise, specially the balcony furniture.

Easy to get to from the airport. We were half board and the food was plentiful and decent. The location was good for wandering about. It was about 30minutes walk from Funchal old town. Plenty of day trips available nearby. Plenty of bars and eating places nearby. Prices nearby for food and drink were relativly cheap. The room was clean and had a kitchenette with a fridge which was useful.
