From check in to check out, everything was simply perfect. We arrived early so the room wasn't ready, but the check in staff (Catherina) was super friendly and helpful doing everything she could to make sure we were comfortable. Other staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really good and tasty. Room was superb, and the hotel was simply really cool. A/C was effective. Good location too. Probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, and the price was so reasonable as well. 10 out of 10. Amazing.

Understanding that feedback is important to improve, but there was absolutely nothing we felt could be any better. Not even the smallest thing to be honest, and we really mean that.

I stayed at 1908 Lisboa Hotel during a solo birthday trip, and it was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and special. The room was clean, stylish, and well-appointed—with everything I needed, including a lovely surprise: a bottle of champagne and dessert waiting for me upon arrival. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive. I ordered room service one evening and the snapper was delicious. Breakfast was made to order and excellent each morning—one day I had avocado toast, and another I had eggs, bacon, and toast, all perfectly prepared. I also enjoyed drinks from the bar, which were equally impressive. The location is great—there are plenty of restaurants nearby, and while the square outside was lively with groups of men, I never felt uncomfortable or bothered. It was a safe and welcoming atmosphere for a solo traveler. I’m so glad I chose 1908 Lisboa for my birthday getaway. I would absolutely stay here again.

There was a little mold in the bathroom shower but that was not a huge deal.

The hotel was modern and stylish in a beautiful historic building with lots of old school charm. The Infame restaurant was better than any other we tried in Lisbon and the breakfast was perfect. But most of all we want to mention how amazing the staff were. The manager Andre helped us to arrange a day trip out with one of the hotel’s recommended local guides, Antoinne. We would highly recommend doing this as it helps you to explore the area around Lisbon including the coastline and Sintra.

The location is a little secondary and at first glance appears slightly down at heel but it is well located next to a nice square and the city centre is walking distance or a short cheap taxi.

Great accommodations, clean and comfortable rooms and bed, shower with plenty of pressure and hot water, and the breakfast included egg omelettes and benedicts. 1908 Lisboa is well thought out, including the art, and staffed to provide its customers with a pleasurable stay / experience. But what makes this hotel stand out is its hospitality and its hospitable staff (including Andre, Mafalda, and Diogo). The hospitality starts when you walk in the door with a welcome drink...and Andre (the owner)spent considerable timediscussing Lisbon's sites to see and how to see them (being considerate to our mobility challenges discussing Ubers and Tram 28). The hospitality of the staff is contagious as everyone on staff goes out of their way to assist you from the waitresses in the dining room to the room stewards. The hospitality is further evidenced by the typical Lisbon pastry delivered to your room. Lastly, I arrived in Lisbon a little under the weather, the reception staff called the hotel's on call doctor and had the Doctor come see me in the hotel after hours (Diogo even served as the translator for me).

I am a hotel photographer so I see A LOT of hotels. The staff here were amazing ! They were so so nice and helpful. They truly made our experience top tier. Then, the hotel itself had all the amenities to make it super comfortable: robes, blow dryer, slippers, great AC, amazing soaps/ shampoo. Honestly everything was a 10/10. The bed was super comfortable sleep and we got our first great sleep in a while. Also the breakfast was beyond ! Buffet and you can order whatever you want all included. Two welcome drinks upon arrival this place had it all. Super close to lots of things, including the metro, and just a short walk from most great restaurants and sites. We loved it !

Nothing it was great!

I like it that they made the place look very interesting. We find it charming and i do appreciate the staff, who were all genuinely attentive and always offering services with a ready smile. The bed is comfortable, the sheets fresh, the little details like slippers, post cards, and dnd signs leave a smile on our faces. We are very happy with the food and this is the only hotel that gave us complimentary wine, welcome drinks, and 10% discount at Infame. Andre’s welcome made so much difference by making us feel at home. The decor has it’s own charm and it didn’t disappoint as we were truly excited with what we saw in the reviews plus the virtual tour. Will definitely recommend to others.

The location didn’t feel safe. That’s the only downside.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful; they even helped me check-in to my flight because the instructions for TAP were in Portuguese. The hotel is a beautiful historic building with a clean modern feel inside. Our room was comfortable especially the bed. They provided us with drink vouchers upon check-in and brought snacks to the room. The hotel is also on a route that is convenient to the airport, and it is walkable to other neighborhoods.

I wish I could pick this hotel up and move it to another neighborhood. Aside from convenience to the airport, while the small square outside the hotel is charming with restaurants, everything else around it in the Intendente neighborhood was pretty trashy. And I don't mean gritty in an old-world way, I mean literal trash and abandoned buildings. Luckily the walk to other areas isn't too bad but I would not do it after dark. Martim Moniz Square smelled of human feces. If I could add 1 comment on the room itself -they need towel hooks closer to the shower!

The uniqueness of this hotel is that when you enter it, you are transported back a hundred years and feel yourself a part of the intellectual society of that time. The hotel is imbued with the spirit of aristocracy, ceilings under 4 meters, large windows, chandeliers - everything speaks for itself. At the same time very friendly young staff, attentive people. At breakfast, it's nice to watch the hustle and bustle of the big city and the streetcar 28 rushing by. Thank you for such an experiential experience!!!

We had a four night stay and we loved every aspect of it. The staff was extremely welcoming , explaining every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The welcome drinks were much appreciated after a long day! Our room located on the 2nd floor had two small balconies overlooking a public square with a view of the castle. It was impeccable and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was always well garnished with fresh fruits and pastries, and of course an a la carte menu. The hotel is located two min. walk to the green metro line which means easy access to city center and airport. This was an extremely enjoyable stay. Worth returning to.

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many fine hotels. This hotel stands out not only for its beauty and comfort but its exceptional staff. The manager Alex was so helpful. He even helped me plan my activités and gave me routes to explore. He recommended a guide for my trip to Sintra, Antoine who was outstanding. Catarina gave me one of the hotel umbrellas to take when I left because I had several days of rain ahead. All the dining and front office staff went out of the way to help. They all work so well together. And the breakfast was huge!! Location is on a quiet square with easy walking access to most sights. I will be back again!’
