Previous reviews mention the area so I shall start with that. It’s very much in the process of gentrification and whilst I was unlikely to have left my (very stylish) curtains open due to the available vista, this did not affect the use of the room. I felt safe wandering around the area as did my wife and quite liked the mixed vibe on the streets around it. I certainly think it will be more sanitised in years to come. Re the hotel, I found the facilities to be exactly as I hoped. The room and communal areas were well fitted and equipped. I shall def try to come back to enjoy the jacuzzi- something which was off, with the general temperature lower than many of my southern European cousins would be accustomed to.

Very clean, beautiful interior, really good beds!! So quiet and peaceful! Would definitely book here again when coming back to Lisbon.

It's in the centre of Lisbon so everything was really close, but the neighborhood itself (Intendente) is one of the worst. We just walked really fast at night (lots of homeless people, drugs in the park,.. we did not see one other woman on the street). It did not bother us too much because we were really fast in other areas of the city.

An absolute gem of a stay, especially for couples. Great level of cleanliness, lots of privacy, and also perfect for relaxation. It ticked all the boxes for me and my partner, and I absolutely loved every moment of it. The Hotel is just outside the main tourist area of Lisbon so it wasn't loud or busy. Also had a handy 100% Vegan restaurant right outside (Great for some!).

I would change nothing about the hotel. I wouldn't recommend to lazy people who don't like a 20min walk into town.

Metro station around the corner, supermarket down the road, restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. The room was spacious, cozy and clean. The bed is very comfortable and big. The bathroom was very nice with a lot of space too, the shower was perfect. We overall loved the design. We had a fridge, a microwave and even a stove. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The alleyways around the hotel do not seem very safe, especially at night. Wouldn’t recommend for female solo-travelers.

Quirky hotel with lovely, friendly staff who were always obliging with help or advice. Any requests were immediately dealt with and nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping services first class every day. Nice chill out pool area. Location close to all the public transport but also within walking distance to many attractions. Nice gesture of chocolate on arrival and cookies on departure. Water, fresh fruit, sweets, cookies to help yourself to in reception area. Baggage room available for early arrivals or late departures.

The curved chain curtain hanging alongside the bed ( room 304) which created a big obstacle in the middle of the room. Could not see the purpose at all and was a complete nuisance! Such a shame the hotel is situated in a bit of a scruffy area, with dubious older characters hanging about drug taking and drinking on the pavement opposite. Although we never felt threatened and it only seemed to be late afternoon / early evening .

Very nice and big room with lovely little balcony where to sit down drinking a nice coffee in the morning, or a glass of wine before going out for the night. The bed was really comfortable. The location is perfect as it is only 15 mins walking to the centre, alternatively there is the Metro station just around the corner which is efficient and convenient, especially after the night out to come back to the hotel. The pool is a great bonus and we really enjoyed to spend an hour in the afternoon after visiting the city in the morning.

The only thing we didn’t like, which is not the hotel’s fault, is that in the street there is an evident problem of drugs use, with some unpleasant people around. We never had any issue but still is not a pleasant atmosphere. Not sure if reporting the problem to the authorities can solve the situation.

The breakfast is very good, the concept of delivering it to the room in a basket is original, if they explained it better they would sell it more. The room and beds comfortable and clean.

I can't shower because there are no towels? There is no communication between the night shift and the day shift. You ask for something at night and they take it away the next day, the second day they didn't give me towels (neither mine used nor clean) NOT towels.

Checking in was simple and people on reception were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are lovely, individually decorated, very quiet and at night really dark with very comfortable beds and pillows, everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was served in the small bar and we were able to choose a time slot that allowed us to sit together for breakfast as there was six of us, breakfast served was of excellent quality, and replenished when it was getting low, nothing was too much trouble for the kitchen staff. We came in late one evening and the bar was closed, but reception opened the bar and served us although they were just heading home, excellent customer service and a credit to the Hotel and its running.

Quirky large room .lovely big bed and comfy. Staff great, able to store luggage as had a late homeward flight, for free. Breakfast satisfying and a good continental choice.

Small things but think the hotel needs to know. Towelling robes in room had shrunk to child size or very tiny adult I'm a UK12 and hardly covered me asked for bigger ones and they were the same. My partner is 6.4 so definately useless for him, label said XL on both. No milk in room had to go to reception to get. Kettle too big to be filled by bathroom tap. The lighting switches are very confusing. Also main light fitting hangs down too low and my partner had to avoid its very low hanging wire on his side of the bed a bit dangerous, especially in the dark at night.

Friendly and helpful staff, fabulous jacuzzi, very convenient and interesting location (ignore reviews that say it’s unsafe, it’s perfectly safe just not as gentrified as other areas), great decor, comfortable bed, good value

Some issues with hot water (we were offered another room but decided to stay where we were and it was fixed soon enough anyway). Minor housekeeping issues eg coffee not being replenished
