The hotel was modern and stylish in a beautiful historic building with lots of old school charm. The Infame restaurant was better than any other we tried in Lisbon and the breakfast was perfect. But most of all we want to mention how amazing the staff were. The manager Andre helped us to arrange a day trip out with one of the hotel’s recommended local guides, Antoinne. We would highly recommend doing this as it helps you to explore the area around Lisbon including the coastline and Sintra.

The location is a little secondary and at first glance appears slightly down at heel but it is well located next to a nice square and the city centre is walking distance or a short cheap taxi.

I like it that they made the place look very interesting. We find it charming and i do appreciate the staff, who were all genuinely attentive and always offering services with a ready smile. The bed is comfortable, the sheets fresh, the little details like slippers, post cards, and dnd signs leave a smile on our faces. We are very happy with the food and this is the only hotel that gave us complimentary wine, welcome drinks, and 10% discount at Infame. Andre’s welcome made so much difference by making us feel at home. The decor has it’s own charm and it didn’t disappoint as we were truly excited with what we saw in the reviews plus the virtual tour. Will definitely recommend to others.

The location didn’t feel safe. That’s the only downside.

The uniqueness of this hotel is that when you enter it, you are transported back a hundred years and feel yourself a part of the intellectual society of that time. The hotel is imbued with the spirit of aristocracy, ceilings under 4 meters, large windows, chandeliers - everything speaks for itself. At the same time very friendly young staff, attentive people. At breakfast, it's nice to watch the hustle and bustle of the big city and the streetcar 28 rushing by. Thank you for such an experiential experience!!!

We had a four night stay and we loved every aspect of it. The staff was extremely welcoming , explaining every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The welcome drinks were much appreciated after a long day! Our room located on the 2nd floor had two small balconies overlooking a public square with a view of the castle. It was impeccable and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was always well garnished with fresh fruits and pastries, and of course an a la carte menu. The hotel is located two min. walk to the green metro line which means easy access to city center and airport. This was an extremely enjoyable stay. Worth returning to.

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many fine hotels. This hotel stands out not only for its beauty and comfort but its exceptional staff. The manager Alex was so helpful. He even helped me plan my activités and gave me routes to explore. He recommended a guide for my trip to Sintra, Antoine who was outstanding. Catarina gave me one of the hotel umbrellas to take when I left because I had several days of rain ahead. All the dining and front office staff went out of the way to help. They all work so well together. And the breakfast was huge!! Location is on a quiet square with easy walking access to most sights. I will be back again!’

absolutely nothing

The welcome we had when we arrived was super friendly. Our wet coats were hung up, our bags placed in our rooms, and we were taken for a welcome drink. We'd given our arrival time before departing home and our rooms were ready on arrival - 3 hours early. The very friendly manager talked through the itinerary and advised us on places to go and where to eat and drink. No pressure, just suggestions. Our rooms.were beautifully clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was superb. It was a pleasure to sit for an hour and chat with our friends whilst helping ourselves to the super fresh buffet and be served a piping hot cooked breakfast if we wanted. The coffee was excellent, too! The location was perfect. Very close to the metro and on tramline 28. We can highly recommend this wonderful hotel. We'd definitely stay here again.

Nothing - absolutely perfect!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at 1908 Lisboa Hotel! The facilities are top-notch, blending modern luxury with historical charm. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all that Lisbon has to offer. The amenities were fantastic, from the stylish rooms to the delightful on-site restaurant. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, and a special shout-out to Caterina for her outstanding hospitality and kindness. She truly made our short trip extra special. Highly recommend!

Breakfasts were excellent, huge variety from buffet selection. Cooked items, eggs/bacon etc also available as standard. Staff always friendly, attentive and helpful. Stayed 5 nights in room 211 on second floor, generously sized, comfortable bed, large bathroom with lots of thoughtful extras. 15-20 minute walk to the centre or Ubers very inexpensive to use. A very special thank you to Andre and Mafalda, front desk ambassadors extraordinaire- knowledgeable, nothing too much for them to do. Andre organised a day trip out of Lisbon with a superb guide. He also pretty much planned out our schedule for interesting days in Lisbon. BRILLIANT!

Nothing to say.

A beautiful boutique hotel situated closeby to the main tourist area. A couple of supermarkets within 2-minute walk, plenty of restaurants and takeaways in the neighbourhood. On arrival, I was allowed early check-in, Katarina at front of house was very welcoming. The room was beautiful. I was welcomed with drinks and sweet treats, brought to my room. Breakfast was of a great standard with good coffee and a plentiful buffet as well as ala carte options. I was also assisted by Mathilde at reception who was extremely helpful.

The hotel is located directly in front of the best restaurant in all of Portugal according to all of the locals and according to food magazines. It is also located right next to a small courtyard/square with wonderful restaurants. They’re open til 1:30 in the morning. Josephine’s was my favorite- try their tea with fresh cinnamon sticks, ginger, orange, lemon, and mint. Outrageous. The hotel has a wonderful staff and an excellent breakfast included with your stay. Bottles and bottles and bottles of cold, complementary water at your disposal. Massive bathroom with wonderful products. Our room had two humongous French doors that looked out into the courtyard. The bed and the sheets were very comfortable. The linens were white crisp, fresh and new. They also welcome you with slippers and a very nice touch. Diogo greeted us and answered our every question kindly and generously. He sent us a map of the area on WhatsApp, which was very helpful. The hotel is a short five minute walk away to the world famous Tram 28. The building is absolutely gorgeous. The next time I am in Lisbon, I am sure I will be returning to Hotel 1908.

The courtyard had many rats running through it all night. I was afraid to enjoy the courtyard.
