The property is located in a quiet neighborhood, but within 15-20-25 minutes walk you find yourself in the main attractions in Lisbon (Alfama, Baixa, Rossio, Chiado neighborhood). The accommodation is safe, and very clean. The shared bathrooms and showers are cleaned on a daily basis early in the mornings. We got our bedsheets changed and towels offered every two days. The rooms are basic, but equipped with everything we needed. It justified the value for the money. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning in the room was working perfectly well. Overall we would definitely recommend this accomodation to everyone who doesnt not prioritize luxury over practicality.

There were no shower gels or shampoos offered. Additionally, we found the garden a bit messy. Lots of things just dumped outside the shared area. It would be nice if the garden would be a bit more taken care of. These two were the only improvement points.

We had a surprisingly spacious room with a view of the backyard garden. This garden with banana and lemon trees and the like was really nice, but unfortunately was closed after 8 pm (what might also be positive when you know how loud some people can talk...). Our room had air-conditioning, but obviously not all rooms do. Very close to Metro station (Green Line / Linha Verde), and other sights are in the easy walking distance.

The ventilation in the bathroom was a bit poor. - Portuguese and English skills depended on who was behind the counter... - In 2024 they could have taken down signs saying that there was no cleaning service "because of the pandemic" (actually there WAS a daily cleaning service).

Clean and tidy. Very helpful staff who helped us with a heavy case as there wasn't a lift. Staff were in attendance at reception until 8pm which was reassuring. Security was good so that people could not not just walk in and around. There were 3 communal bathrooms on our side of the hotel so we were well catered for.The provision of tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge was a bonus. Close to a wide variety of places to eat and the old town. For short stays this is a very good hotel.

A lift would have been useful as there were stairs to climb and we are no longer young. The map needed to be held on its side to understand where this hotel is situated. Rua Anjos is in two sections. It is located on the upper section which is roughly opposite Intendente Metro station. I do not have a smartphone-not everyone does.

I don’t remember requesting a quiet room I asked for a full room either way it wasn’t quiet as on the front and it seems they do recycling like at 1 AM in the morning so very noisy. They don’t seem to have any laws about when they start working so the construction that was right opposite us started extremely early so we didn’t get the best two nights sleep but that we were there, but that wasn’t the fault of the hotel. Loved the old building and the furniture. Staff were very helpful and amazing.

Like I said, a little noisy with the building being old, the shower leaked in a couple of places onto the floor. There was no soap dispenser was empty but not sure if that was supposed to be included or not. Would be nice to have tea and coffee in your room rather than having to go downstairs to make it in the breakfast room

The room and its facilities were very clean and cleaning service was provided on a daily basis. It was also very convenient to have a kitchen with a fridge on site. The interior of the hotel is very pleasant – decorated with antiques and historical photographs of Lisbon and its communities. But most of all, we loved the garden – it was our refuge and the highlight of the place! We definitely want to return to the place.

The kitchen was closed after 10 pm and it had a drinking water dispenser. It would have been convenient to have drinking water located within common area that is accessible throughout the 24-h period.

Location is excellent with easy access to central region but not stuck in the thick of tourist areas. Restaurants around are great and NOT of inflated tourist prices. Appreciated the private shower in the room. Great place for mature economically and convenience-minded travelers who just need a clean and quiet place for a few nights but who do not fit into the hostel age group or culture

Great location. Easily accessible by metro and good connectivity. Loved the view of the garden from the window and enjoyed sitting there in the mornings. Plenty of places nearby to eat and walk around.

It is a bit tricky to find, and there was a bit of construction happening nearby, which made getting to the building a bit difficult. But not Pouso Dos Anjos' fault.

Comfortable beds, good shower, smooth check-in, location convenient, and value for money

Not sure if the hairdryer worked - no problem for us. Just to be aware there’s no toiletries or cups in the bathroom. The area is apparently also not one of the nicest parts of Lisbon, but we (two men) didn’t have any issues or feel unsafe.

Good value for money. In a bustling local neighborhood right between 2 metros. 8 euro taxi from the airport. Seeing how ridiculously packed the 28 tram always was that served Alfama, was very grateful for our last minute decision not to stay there.

Not much. It was a modest price, so not many frills. Pretty much as per the photos.

Very helpful staff on reception. We met some other nice people staying there when we used the kitchen facilities. The room was a good size and very light . Although the windows faced the road ,when the windows and shutters were closed it was very quiet. There were plenty of small supermarkets nearby. We also found some nice restaurants very close. We were very happy staying there.
