Fantastic location, beautiful clean rooms with comfy beds. Staff very friendly and helpful, housekeeping were able to refresh our rooms even when we only went out for a few hours. Breakfast served in your room is fabulous and feels very decadent. Room is gigantic. Beautiful period property. Excellent shower.
I would not want to stay here if I was a light sleeper; the windows and doors are not modern; at times it felt as if there was no glass present at all! We stayed in a rainy March midweek period and it was ok but would think it might be very noisy in summer. You can hear conversation in the street below even with windows closed. We didn't mind the stairs but they are steep and long and there's no lower floors so bear in mind if you have reduced mobility. The lighting in our bathroom was very dim and it's very difficult to apply make-up!

There are those moments when you feel like being treated like a royal and this hotel made everything to create such a moment. It started already with the communication before I arrived. The hotel could accommodate all my requests (e.g. quiet room etc.) and responded very fast. Check in was smooth and I was greeted with a glass of wine while my details were registered. The room was outstanding - remember this is an old palace - very tastefully decorated with three windows facing the old town of Lisbon. Breakfast was served in my room and was delicious. The hotel staff was super friendly and treated me like a long standing customer - always asking if I would need anything or offering recommendations for dinner ... . Many, many thanks for this wonderful stay. I will certainly come back.

The location was right in the heart of Chiado, so close to shops, restaurants, even the Tagus. The room we stayed in was larger than our two apartments combined with comfy furnishings, and the delicious, healthy breakfast was delivered to our room every morning like clockwork. I already booked a return trip for the spring. Maria at the front desk was an absolute pleasure as was the gentleman who worked evenings. The breakfast staff was also very polite when serving our cart, respectful of our DND sign some mornings. The property itself is historic and beautiful in so many ways. I felt sometimes as if I'd taken a step back into the 18th/19th century with its design and decor (though there isn't an elevator/lift, the stairs are easy enough for most who are not mobility challenged; and the bathroom is modern). I travel frequently and Dear Lisbon Palace Chiado is at the top of my list for accommodations. We can't wait to come back in the spring.
Leaving to catch our flight back home :)

The room we had at Dear Lisbon Palace Chiado Suites was amazing - one of the best on our trip. It was enormous with a carved plaster ceiling and double french doors opening to the street, so plenty of natural light. The bed was very comfortable. the shower in the bathroom worked very well (hot water/pressure). there is carpet in the sink area, which is odd, but everything was very clean. Breakfast is served in the room from a delivered trolley - there were plenty of choices and everything was very fresh and tasty. Even though the room faced the street, it was relatively quiet, which is great considering the convenient location in a great neighborhood. The staff were helpful and welcoming.
This is not about "not liking" just an observation: the rooms start at the first floor, which is up a steep set of stairs - this might be a challenge for some. There are no other common areas in the hotel, just the lobby and the amazing rooms.

Very large room and beautifully decorated. Had a great view of town and the river. Very large bed and really comfortable to sleep on. Breakfast is served in your room on a trolley with a great selection of food items. Breads, pastries, cheese and meat. Really enjoyable.
Not much to mention here except would’ve been nice to have more coffee pods for the machine. There’s are some minor decor issues which need addressing and not having room service isn’t the most convenient (especially when there’s a national power cut and you’re left with no access to your cash) but I understand the property isn’t marketed as a traditional hotel.

We had a truly unforgettable romantic getaway at this hotel! The room was spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, offering a cozy and intimate atmosphere with all the amenities we needed. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, providing a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding area—perfect for enjoying quiet moments together. From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty, with impeccable service that made us feel truly special. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wonderful variety of delicious options, from fresh fruits to hot dishes. Overall, it was an excellent experience and the perfect setting for a romantic retreat. Highly recommend!

The staff was amazing, the room was as huge as it looks in the picture and it was very well equipped with the bathroom and around the corner so that was nice because it was kind of a separate area. They brought you breakfast to your room which was amazing. It was actually like staying in a castle because it was a previous home of a Viscount. They even gave us a glass of Port when we arrived.
I didn't do enough research so I didn't realize that there was no elevator and the bedrooms are actually three stories up. They did help with the luggage and it wasn't really a problem except that we had walked there from the train station so we were tired! The lack of extra outlets in the room was a bit annoying but nothing terrible because I just unplugged the TV and used that outlet.

The room was very spacious with an amazing view of downtown Lisboa and the bay. We had breakfast included in the booking so when we arrived, they asked whether we prefer boiled or scrambled eggs. We said scrambled and Cappuccino. The breakfast delivered was something we never had from previous 4.5 stars hotel. We were blown away and felt like royalty. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The service was perfect.
We have nothing bad to say about the apartment or service provided.

Very spacious and comfortable guest rooms in a nice neighborhood convenient to sites, squares, restaurants, shopping and train towards Sintra, etc.! Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, in-room breakfast was plentiful, beautifully prepared and presented. We enjoyed our stay!
Our room (#1) offered a nice city street view but with this came some evening noise. It was very loud at times (trash trucks) but ear plugs are provided and we rested well despite the activity outside.

The location in Chiado was perfect - close to trains, trams, shopping, and nightlife. We loved the room with its beautiful windows, letting in so much light. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the lovely welcome package and sweet notes. The room was spotless. It was spacious and included thoughtful touches such as robes and slippers. The breakfast delivered to the room was out of this world and set us up for a full day of sightseeing. We loved the scrambled eggs, croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, fresh cake, cheese, and more. Just scrumptious! The staff were lovely and so helpful. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Lisbon.
As we were there on a weekend, it did get a bit noisy at night. The hotel thoughtfully provided ear plugs which I needed to use one night.
